Looking for a chiropractor for a general "tune up" because it had been awhile. I was very careful with my search for a reputable doc and found the reviews pretty good. Unfortunately, my visit resulted in major issues with my back and chest after being adjusted quite aggressively with way too much gusto. Needless to say, I am now in pain where there was none. I've started coming in as a patient for almost a month now and I've ft a lot better every time I walk out that door. Dr. Schnurr is a great doctor who graduated from Palmer (that is important to me). He relieved my shoulder blade problem and I now have no issues when I'm at the gym. It's not an overnight solution of course. I've been coming in every week and I am 100% away from the pain. As for the massage, AMAZING!!! Not really a place for athletes and bodybuilders. I bought the package of 5 massages and adjustments, and maybe 1 out of the 5 massages were a true deep tissue muscle release. The adjustments, were all the same every time, even after explaining to the doctor where the tightness was. Nothing but a hip drop. And a neck adjustment every time. Which I understand takes care of a lot of the lower body stuff, but when you explain your shoulder and shoulder blade is locked up, that type of adjustment does nothing. This place is more for people who are older and do little to no active movement. read more

I was really looking forward to an appointment with Joyce, who I have had massages from in the past. I booked the appointment on Monday for today. I arrived this morning and was told there was no appointment available. Despite knowing o scheduled it for today, i know maybe there was missundersta or something. My complaint is that there was no empathy or effort to work with me or interest in keeping me as a client. When that's the case, I happily take my business elsewhere. *update* Shortly after I wrote this message, I received a call from the owner who sincerely tried to rectify the situation. This was my first experience with a chiropractor and I was a bit apprehensive because I was unsure of what to expect. Overall it was a good experience and I will be recommending this place to people who might benefit from a chiropractic treatment. Dr.Schnuur is polite, kind and thoughtful. He explained everything that was going on with my body and what he was going to do to remedy it. Apparently my right leg was a little shorter then my left and he was able to reset them to be equal (which was serendipitous and I wasn't not even expecting this). After my treatment I felt more free and lively in my neck and shoulders. I will be going back for more treatments in the future and I have and will recommend Dr.Schnuur in the future. read more

This is the new guy on the block and I've been suffering from some pretty acute neck pain for some time so I thought I'd check him out. Overall an amazing experience. The building itself has a great crisp new car feel, the Shawna the receptionist was sweet and efficient. I didn't even have to wait that long to see the Dr either! He did great work and asked me a ton of questions about all areas of my life, gave me his clinical opinion of my neck and offered to perform several adjustments. This guy may be younger than some and his practice brand new but I've never felt better after an adjustment in my entire life. I plan to visit many, many more times. I have been to a couple local chiropractors and many massage places and absolutely put this place at the top of the list. Everyone in the office is incredibly professional and listens to your needs. They are honest and tell you what you really need to get done, not focused on constant repeat customers and raking in the dough but rather on what you're looking to get out of chiropractic and massage. Above and beyond, his work. Brian is a gift send from above. I am talking about he is magnificent at what he does. My neck, my entire neck was hurting. I had pain shooting down my back. I honestly thought I was gonna give up. I do commercial driving for a living. I have had ex-rays done, six weeks of physical therapy and even went and made appointment for the neurologist where these people treated me unkind...anyways all that but NONE of it works!!! I was waking up from this horrible pain and got so many referrals from my physician. Then suddenly I read about Dove Mountain Chiropractor and met with Brian!!! That's it, the END of my pain, my frustration, the agony stops. He adjusted my back and on the first adjustment I felt the difference after the second time, I was fully functional. Brian and his team are so nice and professional. I have seen him for 3 sessions in his office before the pandemic. Their office is clean and I didn't have to wait for a long time unlike other appointments. However with the pandemic, they had to close and I was excited to find that they had reopened through their website. Trying to keep everyone safe, they had asked customers that had been exposed to known covid individuals to not come in. As a nurse, of course I fit that description and called to let them know so we can figure out a way for me to be seen but for all of us to be protected as well. Brian offered to come in my house and did my adjustments after hours. I was so relieved and thankful for him to do that for me. Granted that of course we are fully masked and disinfected, and practiced social distancing before and after the adjustments. After my consultation she worked with me on my lower back pain and by the time I left the pain was gone!
