Chris called me updating me with the issues. Explained how much money it was gonna cost. His staff is very friendly and helpful explaining the problems.     Deceptive billing practices hidden behind a "family safety" sales pitch…read more I recently brought my 2018 Infinity Q50 here for an agreed-upon $89.00 A/C check. Once they had my car in the shop they pushed an extra $115.00 manual labor charge, claiming they "could not" use a diagnostic scanner port in my car because every electrical component had to be checked individually. I questioned that and was told that the port in my car would not read "broken wires, bad ground or power supply." The upcharge was paid for and I drove home. When I got home i did some research and as I suspected their claim was completely false. A 2018 Infinity HVAC computer instantly generates diagnostic codes like open circuit or short to ground and the power supply. The standard, legal procedure in New Jersey is to plug the scanner in under the initial agreed-upon fee of $89.00 first, pull codes, and then present the findings to the customer to request authorization for further manual labor. Instead they skipped the standard legal procedure to manufacture additional labor hours, completely bypassing required procedure. After contacting the service manager by email and giving them the opportunity to refund the upcharged amount they maintained their position even though their own documentation proves my claim to be true. I am filing a formal complaint with the New Jersey division of Consumer Affairs and initiating a credit card dispute for deceptive upcharging. Watch your paperwork very careully here. They claimed their scanner was of no use onmy car and could not read the required codes to diagnose my A/C correctly. My vehicle uses an entirely computer-controlled electronic variable compressor, meaning their advanced scanners are precisely the tools designed to read these electrical faults. They used their advertised "High-Tech" Certifications to justify a "Bait and switch" price upcharge tactic. They refused my written request for a partial refund in writing. As a senior citizen, I do not like getting taken advantage of and neither should you. Be cautious and be wary of the upselling or upcharging

I found their prices fair and the quality of their service excellent. Most of the time they're quite busy so plan ahead if possible. Sean is great to deal with. Sean the owner said he did all the work and just replaced the rotors no pads no checking anything else just the rotors. 1 day after getting the car back I take my kids to camel beach and my car starts violently vibrating when braking and then leads to it violently shaking when driving. When I pulled over my tire was smoking so badly I was afraid it was going to catch on fire. I had a friend meet me and she checked it out, caliper is shot and there's a bungee on the tire shaft attached to the steering stabiliser so basically he had the calipers off but didn't bother to check them and my brake pads were worn down past the wear line. When I confronted Sean initially he acted like he was going to right his wrong and fix his mistake but then he called my father in law and said he wasn't going to do anything. I called him back and he said he didn't need to right any wrong and that he did nothing wrong and won't be working on the car any longer. This isn't the first issue I've had with this place when I brought it in for the brake vibration it also needed the ac charged that was the second time I had it in there for that he claimed I didn't think it was hot my children's beat red faces in the back of the car said otherwise. Another time I brought it for a loud noise coming from the wheel, the bearing was bad he completely missed it and I had to bring it elsewhere. Sean has a bad attitude and no care for the fact that people depend on mechanics to make sure their vehicles are safe and able to get them where they need to go.
