My review is based on a delivery order: My significant other described the perfect pizza to me and then said it was available right down the street. Immediately, I placed my order with Downtown Pizza for a large white & bacon pizza. It couldn't have been more than 25 minutes until it was at our front door - in my hands - into my mouth. Delicious, satisfying, super tasty and I craaaved to eat it again the next day. In fact, I had warmed up a slice for lunch the next day - perfect, still. I've been going here for a while always thought it was the best pizza around now I'm not sure how to review it. The last two times I've been there and along with talking with others who go there frequently, agree with me that over the last 2 to 3 weeks it seems as though their pizza has gone through a change whether it's a different sauce or different cheese the quality has definitely gone downhill. I hope that they do change it to whatever they were doing before always a pleasure to go there but I will give them one more try and if they don't go back to what they were doing the quest for a decent pizza goes on again. I come here often with my boyfriend. I'm from the NYC area so it's hard for me to find pizza down here in FL that I really like. This place is one of my favorites. Usually the service is very good but on one night a waitress was very rude to us. We had come to get a Stromboli to share after work. It must've been about 10:30 and this place closes at 11. My boyfriend and I were just relaxing and chatting and watching videos on our phones. Eventually we received our Stromboli but it was fresh so it was very hot. We decided to let it cool down and resumed watching videos on our phones. The waitress soon comes to us, leans over the table at us and says, 'we're closing at 11 so could you please hurry up and eat this.' We just looked at her like 'seriously?' I've never been to any restaurant where the staff rushed me to eat. We had literally just got the Stromboli. We decided to just eat and leave. It was hot and we scarfed it down. Not fun. We were so mad and considered never coming back. I gave the waitress $1 tip. Honestly I regret even giving her that. It was more than she deserved. She was so rude. She did come to us as we were leaving and apologized but we didn't care much for that. We ask we're is the best pizza in Miami and a group of people told us that Downtown pizza was the place to go, we had to drive to Lake worth and it was worth the drive. Finally after being Told by a few ppl how good there pizza is.My fiancé and I decided to finally try this place.He is a pizza connoisseur .Me not so much ,but I use to be married to a real Italian New Yorker ,that taught me what good pizza is,and this place Doesn't come close.I don't know what anyone else means by they got real New York style pizza ,ugghh no they don't ,not even close.Also it tasted exactly like 3 other pizza places we have tried in lake worth.Do they all share the same basic recipe.There was absolutely nothing special about the pizza whatsoever,and it was very dry.My fiancé was also very disappointed for the price especially.Also I kept smelling this wretched smell ,it was god awful,I have bartender in some small hole in the wall strip clubs in Miami and it reminded Me of them.Hate to sound vulgar but it smelled like a woman that doesn't clean herself properly down there .Like rotting fish it was horrible and really turned me off ,the server had walked by numerous Times,then she came to refill my drink and I realized the smell was her.I couldn't eat anymore ,I was already turned off by how shitty the pizza was,then having to smell that I was like oh my god I think it's gonna make me sick,then when my fiancé noticed the smell,he had to walk outside ,another thing the older man behind the counter gave everyone that came in mean looks.Like oh god another customer ,I have worked in the restaurant/bar industry pretty much my whole life ,and not a good thing to do ,to customers cause I definitely Noticed ,it was also hard to tell who worked there none of the servers had on at least shirts with the logo,neither did the 2 delivery boys we saw .only guys making pizza had the companies shirts on,pretty dumb if u ask me,there behind the counter so they obviously work there.The servers not wearing company shirts makes it very Confusing .needless to say we Will not be back,place and food sucked read more

Literally if I could rate any less, I would. I have never had such horrible customer service in my life. I called in trying to order carry out and the person answered the phone saying "yeah what do you want?" At that I was put off already but even more so as the conversation continued; he then couldn't hear anything I was saying even though I was speaking clear as day yet still continued having an attitude as if u was serving an injustice. So at that point I cancelled my entire order, obviously, to his response of "oh well, I don't care." So I let it be. As a New Jersey guy living in Palm Beach for a summer, I can tell you that this is true New York Pizza. The owner is a real nice guy as well. Cheap and tasty pizza is hard to find in Florida.
