Hidden gem - delicious! I got the chicken and waffles...the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. My friend got the corned beef skillet and loved it as well. Service was good and ambience is casual. We will be back!

I've been following them on IG for a while and I finally got to go today--woohoo! We loved it! The service was excellent; Gizelle took care of us and she was super friendly, fast, and attentive. The place is small but very cute, with great beachy vibes. The food deserves a special mention. My picky eater ordered a hash brown and a chocolate chip waffle. It was honestly the first hash brown I've ever had that was cooked to perfection--not greasy, not cold, and not undercooked. Amazing! The waffle was huge, fluffy, and delicious. She ate almost all of it My dish deserves its own paragraph... OMG. The avocado toast actually had real avocado. Not just a thin spread--nope. It was basically a whole avocado, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor, topped with a poached egg that took it to the next level. If you get the chance, don't miss it. It's the perfect spot for breakfast or an amazing brunch.

Have been here 3-4 times and everything I've tried was amazing!! Love their drink selection too.. the smoothie and mango lassi 10/10 I was hesitant to get the chicken tikka masala but it turned out to be really good. Service has been great as well Definitely check this place out for a brunch or lunch :)

"What an absolute gem of a restaurant! From the fantastic breakfast and lunch menus to the outstanding service--which is a rare find in today's hustle and bustle--everything was perfect. As an expat from England, I've tried my fair share, and this is hands-down the best English breakfast in South Florida. It is easily the best-kept secret in Lake Worth Beach!"

New ownership and they are on the way to success! Warm and welcoming, this place offers some interesting menu items and old school charm. I had a Chai Latte to go along with my order of Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp were a nice size, plentiful with a nice sauce over the smooth Cheddar grits. Lots more to try here ... we will be back!

We have been wanting to come here for some time, but never quite got around to it. The old owners sold about a year ago. The new owners have been here about a year and are still tweaking the menu. Brazilian and German, but long time U.S. residents, she said. We found a place to park not too far away on a side street. It was raining heavily, but cozy inside. We got the last open table when we arrived. The breakfast and brunch options looked great, but I was focused on the Indian dishes. I decided to get the one with shrimp. The dish I ordered is (now) called butter shrimp. They are planning to change the name for the new menu as it's not the mild plain dish you'd expect. It's spicy with lots of different mushrooms and peppers and onions. Hearty. Spicy enough to make my nose run and my eyes tear. Even after removing several small jalapeño pepper slices and a pile of cilantro that topped it off. But I loved it. A half dozen large shrimp swimming in a thick delicious sauce. On a separate plate was the rice -- that kind with those little vermicelli noodle pieces in it; Some naan bread -- that was more like roti and thicker than naan. And some vegetables -- sautéed green beans and steamed white cauliflower pieces. Both of which I added to my sauce. There was a small container of a cold cilantro dressing that I was not sure what to do with. My husband chose the shrimp and grits brunch item. Cheesy grits topped with a half dozen shrimp with a drizzle of sauce and a large bacon piece. Plus a perfectly cooked poached egg. He really liked it. For drinks, he had a hot chai latte. Very good, he said. And I had a decaf iced cold brew. Perfect for calming my spice. We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu options. This one's a keeper.

Food was amazing. Service was not so great. Very friendly BUT with all the speciality things they do (fancy coffees-fresh OJ) they need to have a person doing those for their servers because your table service lacks. Only got 1 cup of coffee, she never offered a refill and took us forever to get a box to go. Cool Ambiance

This would be my second review! It is still amazing! The only difference I see is that they changed the way they cooked their chicken and they increased the quantity of chicken! Definitely a better upgrade for the chicken and waffles. Shrimp and grits were good but personally for me, it had too much oils in it. Other than that it definitely was great to come back here! On top of that, the customer service is too notch!!!!

So happy the quality has been maintained. My steak and eggs created a food coma, even with several cups of delicious coffee. Inside or outside seating. Great vibe. Even better service. Budget friendly for what you get.

I love this place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The owner is Brazilian and the food is incredible! I love how I don't have to worry about choose something different because every single thing in the menu is fantastic. The ambience, people and the music make me feel like home. The employees are polite, and very kind. My favorite there is the juices and the iced Vietnamese coffee. Thank you!

Lovely hardworking family. Not a lot of signage and the door opens to the kitchen which gets you into a speakeasy. Was greeted by the owners and the local patrons from the assisted living residents. This was a first for us. We got pecan short cake (delish, but sweet), chicken fried. Steak (very substantial, had home fries extra crisp very good) dirty dirty grits, (mixed grits with bacon ham and onions, covered with cheese). All were delicious, and generous portions. We all enjoyed the good food and company. Total worth checking out, support your local mom and pop businesses.

As would be expected with a condo, there is very little guest parking - maybe 9 spaces- and they were all full. Thus, I parked on the street behind the condo. There is lots of free street parking all over this area, which is mostly residential. There is some construction being done on the front and side of the building, so the entrance is a little hard to find. It is on the West side of the building, and it doesn't look like the entrance to a restaurant AT ALL! Just a side door propped open with a large, wooden, hand-painted sign next to it announcing the Cafe. I walked into the door and accidentally turned into the kitchen. The cook greeted me warmly and redirected me down the other hallway. I loved this place already! The Cafe looks like an old Southern diner, in a very not-decorated-by-a-designer way, which felt very homey to me. Two diners greeted us when we came in, we sat ourselves at a booth table, and eventually our wonderfully eclectic and kind storytelling waitress brought us menus. The menus are lovingly written in a colloquial, storytelling style that is fun and warm to read. Otherwise, the peeling laminate menus are wonderfully non designed also, and again, I love this! The board of daily specials was special with cornbread french toast amongst the items. I loved seeing more than one regular menu item I have never seen anywhere else (grits inside an egg wrap. My friend chose a breakfast quesadilla. I chose to make my own meal by ordering a slice of (heavily touted on the menu) banana bread, hashbrown casserole, and grits with cheese. I loved every bite! The hashbrown casserole was giant, and crisped all over the outside, so cutting it open was a treat- delicious. The banana bread was light, moist, and also delicious. The grits with cheese were nothing different or special, which was exactly as I expected. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this quirky hidden cafe! Shoot! I am already craving hashbrown casserole and banana bread again...

It looked like a nice spot really cool the ambience of being next to the beach and having food. But the surprise was when we had our food Terrible. It wasn't crunchy. It was unseasoned, no flavor. It was really really bland. When the server came after the two minutes, we told him like" this is not for us to finish it like literally we didn't even eat anything and unfortunately I don't know why ( since I'm a server, anytime somebody says something is bad and I clearly see they didn't eat it, i take it off the check.) the server didn't take it out of the check. The location overlooking a bit of the golf course and the waterway was so pretty and peaceful. As we were pulling into a parking spot, we saw a group of iguanas sunbathing and some ducks and Egyptian geese enjoying the front pond. On the way out, a golfer was practicing on the mini putting green in front of the entrance. There were a lot of guys -- golfers? -- enjoying adult libations in the bar. And that kept the two servers busy. We were in the dining room next door and there was only one other party dining in for a late lunch. They have a lunch menu, drinks menu, and regular menu. We both ordered specials from the lunch menu. My husband got the "pick two". There were a number of possible combos, but he chose a turkey sandwich and chili soup. He asked for no lettuce on the sandwich but yes to the tomato, onion, and mayo. When his food came, the turkey sandwich was plain with mayo on the side. No onion and no tomato! He'd also requested just the chili -- no additions. But they still gave him grated cheese and onions for his chili. I got their lunch special of grilled chicken sliders. I asked for no lettuce and no mayo on the sandwiches. It did come with bacon and avocado and cheese on the two grilled chicken sliders -- that part was okay -- but had mayo in the buns and yes, lettuce. The kitchen certainly was NOT paying attention to the order!! For drinks, my husband had a glass of Oyster bay Sauvignon Blanc. It was reasonably priced and was a nice pour. I just got one Diet Coke. When our bill came, they'd charged us for two drinks each -- an additional $12.50! Which after we pointed it out, they corrected. So our order wasn't right and they over billed us. And usually that would/should have changed my Yelp rating. But the venue was so laid back and comfortable and the view so pretty that I was willing to overlook the glitches. The Stuffed Avocado appetizer was fresh and included 4 large slices of avocado but it was very weird that they didnt take the avocado out of the shell/skin. I also couldn't taste the aoli dressing so I asked for some ranch which went well with the feta cheese and corn. I liked the little bit of grilled flavor in the corn. Our service was at best average as we never really saw her after ordering food so tea and water never got refilled and the kitchen was very slow to send out our food.
