Lunch today we decided on pizza and I remembered when this place first opened it was so great! Seems that the pizza is still good but a little less flavorful. Missing some of that Brooklyn that we love. Speaking of Brooklyn the interior of this place is covered in photos of Brooklyn from the 70s and 80s. Gives it a great nostalgic feeling. I'll start with this, the pizza was great. But here's the thing, I'll never eat inside there again. It was dirty. The floor was gross, corners were disgusting and the bathroom was actually worse than what I've seen in gas stations. The dust behind the soda machine was thick. I totally disregard other negative reviews. Of course a single slice order will be different from a fresh whole pie, that's common sense. But the pizza is very good. Soft and airy but crunchy dough, no flop. Not greasy. Grande cheese and the sauce is great . You definitely got to try the Sicilian deep dish pizza. Hard to find a good Sicilian. Definitely will always be my go to even if I have to travel 25 minutes to get there. read more

I have been going here for a long time but yesterday the pizza was bad. I knew it was not going to be good after I seen the pizza coming to my table. The crust was very hard, the cheese was not enough, almost seemed like the cheese was separating. Barely any sauce. We ate it and did not complain but when they started sweeping the carpets right towards my table, I had enough. Airborne dirt directed towards my meal. Funny thing is that they did this to me once before and I complained. They offered a free pie and apologized, but I guess they don't really care because they are still doing this. My husband and I have been actively searching for "the pizza place" for a while. Jimmy Brooklyn's was highly recommended by several friends and of course we gave them a try. I tried to order for pick up but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out a way to place an order online without the use of a third party with inflated fees. I didn't want to call it in since we were first time customers and not familiar with the menu. Anyways, we drove to the parlor and placed our order. It took about 20ish to 30 minutes for the order to be ready. We ordered the Meat Lover's, Pizza Caprese, and half a dozen of garlic rolls. We sat down and waited, the place looks nice and clean. There were several patrons dining in who seemed to be enjoying themselves and their experience. Our pizzas looked and smelled great. They were very tasty as well. The garlic rolls were delicious. I was excited when my step daughter told me she was going to order authentic Brooklyn pizza for me on Fathers Day. The pizzas , large cheese and large meat lovers ... just under $60. If it's good no problems with the price . However , and I hate to say this because I was so looking forward to NY pizza , it was disappointing. First no sausage on pie , and the crust was chewy. It's been years since I've been in the neighborhood. I was having tests done nearby and decided to stop and get a few slices to heat when I get home. 1. The place is spotless with a real NY pizzeria vibe! 2. Friendly & welcoming quick service 3. Easy parking 4. Delicious NY Style pizza (crust still needs some improvement) 5. Affordable, great prices I asked for one regular slice of cheese pizza and one slice of white pizza to go (not heated) First night I heated the cheese slice in my convection/air fryer oven. I spread a little butter & olive oil on the bottom and top crust before putting it in.. Makes all the difference in the world! It was absolutely delicious! I could fold and eat! The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect and sweet enough for an authentic slice! Refer to my pictures. The second night I heated up the white pizza applying the same butter and olive oil to the bottom and top crust. Definitely order the white pizza! It is one of the best I've ever had! Loads of Creamy ricotta and mozzarella- it was actually a heavy slice and huge! A great value! I highly recommend! A quick tip- please add some olive oil and cut in some butter to the pizza dough and then your pizza will be perfect! I still enjoy it!!!! read more

My last review was five years ago and this is still a 3 Star Pizza place. I ordered a House special 14 inch pizza and a meatball roll and it was $37. I find that a bit steep but times are different. I feel for $40. I would've rather went out to a restaurant and been served. The house special pizza was very good but the meatball roll. The roll was nothing fancy, It was shaved meatballs, and cheese, inside a piece of dough. Nothing fabulous. I personally would've rather have gotten the calzone because it at least had ricotta cheese and gave it texture. I ordered from here because they delivered. I'm assuming for the $37 price tag there was a fee for delivery they did show up within the hour though. If you want food delivery. One of the many pizza parlors in Southern Florida that profess to be a NY style pizza. Not here. We had a meatball pizza the sauce and the meatballs were good. The crust was terrible it was edible but we couldn't place the lack of ingredients. It just didn't have that pizza consistency that you would expect from up North. There are some good pizza places in southern Florida of which I will not mention here. This is a self service place, you place your order, and they will give it to you at the table, so there's no tipping involved, per se you can leave a tip on the counter tip jar. You also serve your own drinks pies range from small, medium, large and extra-large Sicilian at Cetera. We didn't try any other food. They used to be very inconsistent with the thickness of their crust but the last two times we've been there, the crust was consistently thin and somewhat crispy. The 3 stars are because everyone was pleasant and we were served our food in a timely manner; plus they had Mug caffeine-free root beer among their soda choices and it was great. The decorations on the walls are scenes of New York. You order at the counter and they give you a stanchion to place on your table. Each one has the name of a city/area in New York. For those from there, this is where the nostalgia ends. The food itself, is also a long way from Brooklyn, New York. We started with a namesake salad. It sounded great on the menu. It was okay. It had a large bed of romaine lettuce topped with some pieces of canned artichoke hearts, some slices of pimento peppers, a few pieces of sun-dried tomatoes, plus two slices of fresh tomato. The best part were the two slices of fresh mozzarella cheese. Along side was a pink salad dressing which we assumed was related to a creamy Italian dressing, but we could not tell by taste. I asked for oil and vinegar instead and they gave us a small container of already mixed together oil and vinegar. We didn't eat all the salad. Then we had a small pizza with added meatballs. The sauce was decent as was the cheese. The meatball part were very thinly sliced pieces. It was just okay. Unfortunately, the part we really didn't like was the crust/dough. It was slightly thick and cake like. I've never left a slice of pizza at a restaurant in my life. I love pizza -- even the crappy kind they served in grammar school made from tomato sauce on an English muffin. I like pizza for breakfast and even a midnight snack. But we knew neither of us would eat any of our leftovers. So the pizza stayed behind. We came. We ate. Now we know. read more
