    Honeymoons Salad.....lettuce alone!
    Mike V.

It all starts with the food. "Irish Nachos". Potato pancakes with cheddar and bacon. They should be shredded potatoes. Right? Not flattened tater tots. Crispy Chicken Salad??? A salad with chicken.....not chicken over lettuce. It was a Honeymooners Salad. Lettuce alone. Pierogis were good as was the French Onion. Hot and flavorful. Server Mike(Michael) was good. Funny and personable. Live music. Not too loud and talented. Tito's and Cran was on the strong side not as strong if I made it at home but not a short pour! Live 3.5 hours from here. We stop when in the area. We will be back. Just order differently fare.....

Soccer wings grilled , garlicky and captain Morgan's glaze. Get two orders. 10 won't be enough. And then order 10 more to take home.
    Bret K.

Great variety for a traditional Irish pub menu and I haven't ordered anything yet that I wouldn't recommend to friends and family. They treat you nice from the door and the customer service doesn't stop there. Fish n Chips and shepherds pie were big sized portions and the draft beer has always tested fresh. Order the soccer wings with a black n blue (snake bite) half Guinness half blue moon. They throw the wings back on the grill with that captain Morgan garlic sauce. Amazing. I give credit to every restaurant in this area for putting their own unique spin on wings. No two places does it the same and they take pride in that. I see chowder fest is a big deal but we need to have a wing off !!!

Meat cold and dry as a bone... no way they just cooked these!

This is the last time I order from here. Same thing happened last time. I ordered wings and fries to go. I was there in 10m flat. Everything was cold and the wings were dried out inside and cold. The sweet potato fries looked like they had come off someone's left over plate -cold, soggy, and there were pieces of fried onion mixed in. Gross! I feel like they are just reheating old food and passing it off to the takeout customers.

    Buffalo wings back on grill

These wings are the best around! I can't help but crave these wings! The staff always has a smile on their face! they are always super nice and helpful! Bartenders here make the perfect cocktail

Food is mediocre at best. Service is atrocious! The bartender Kate is extremely rude and belligerent. Never going back.

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

We also ordered fries and truffle fries (subbed instead of regular fries), and everything tasted fantastic. That said, the pricing gave me a little pause. About $75 for two burgers, truffle fries, and sodas felt steep, but honestly, the flavor helped justify it... at least a teeny bit. Later in the evening, we returned just for drinks and dessert, which were both solid. The espresso martinis were especially good (though at nearly $20 each, expectations are high), and we had more than a few. The only real downside was service during our second visit. When we let the staff know we weren't ordering food since we had already eaten earlier, our silverware and napkins were quickly cleared and our water glasses were taken as well. I had to request that water glasses stay and be filled, which felt awkward and honestly a bit dismissive, especially given the cost of the drinks we were ordering (4 of us). Overall, excellent food and drinks, but the service inconsistency took away from the experience. With more attentive hospitality, this would easily be a 5-star spot. Solid option and they can deliver to the room if you scan from the room. We ordered and asked for it to be delivered and they said they couldn't. We returned for breakfast the next day and the food was delicious and hot! Definitely delivered...
