    Spicy Miso Ramen
    Saya N.

Stopped by for dinner as we wanted to try the ramen. We chose the spicy miso and tonkatsu and both were really good although the tonkatsu could have used a little more flavor to make it a stand out. We opted to add the pan fried gyoza and gyudon to each dish which were the perfect additions to fill us up! Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

We came in for happy hour. We ordered Tako Yaki, Volcano Roll, Carburetor Roll, Philly Roll, spicy tuna roll, and California Roll. Our favorites were the Tako Yaki and the Volcano Roll. We would come again!

Clean, bright atmosphere and a great spot for lunch. Service was friendly, fast and on point. Ordered the bento box with shrimp tempura sushi and teriyaki chicken & a Sapporo Premium. Portion size was excellent and more food than I could eat...check out the photo! Food quality was great; everything was fresh! Will definitely be back.

A good place for a quick bite. I think that they prepared the ramen and soba noodles well. I also like the bento box option that comes with miso soup, salad, and a choice of 2 entrees. I was tempted to try the skewers here as they have a variety of options to choose from.

We felt like ramen noodles today she ordered the tonkotsu ramen with pork. I ordered the Udon noodles with shrimp tempura and geso karaage as an appetizer. They have happy hour on the weekends. We also ordered some yakitori skewers: chicken heart and chicken skin. Don't forget the hot sake. All delicious and the service was top notch. TY :)

Nice little restaurant hidden from view. They have a selection if ramen and sushi. Seating is limited, so get there early. My son and his friend had ramen bowls, and they both enjoyed it. I had the tempura shrimp and tempura vegetable appetizers. If you order one each, it's more than enough for a meal. I didn't care for the tempura batter. It was a little pasty in my opinion.

This is foremost a Japanese delight with several traditional dishes/curries. Food is fresh. Staff is very attentive and make sure you feel cared for. Accommodates larger groups.

Found this place randomly after a long day at work and it hit the spot! Very friendly and hospitable. Super cute place hidden in the back of the plaza but easy to find. The flavor of the Ramen we had was some of the best I've had in the valley. We will be back!

They still bring out food, drinks, and check on tables so there is service provided. Everything was quick and most of all tasty! Both of our ramens were medium spicy which can be modulated since the spicy paste is on the side and added to the broth. Overall both ramen bowls were delicious and with plenty of toppings included. One broth was clear, other was creamy and noodles had good texture. The noodle type isn't my exact favorite type of ramen but I still enjoyed it. I prefer a thicker ramen noodle. I still ate the whole damn thing lol. The chicken bun was very good although not spicy. I liked it-- chicken was nice and crispy and the bun was super soft & pillowy. The shrimp tempura hand roll was solid. No complaints. Tbh, I liked the food more than I expected to. Which is always nice when that happens. The reviews looked good, and I love Ramen, which isn't easy to find a place that makes good Ramen. This is a very small place, with the kitchen right there for all to see. And in the kitchen was one older woman, and seating, taking orders, and serving was one young man. This is a Tuesday early evening, so when we entered there was only one person eating. We got seated immediately , perused the menu, got some suggestions and placed our orders. The food came quickly, hot, and tasted amazing. I got the spicy kimche broth with pork belly and tofu, and noodles. This was amazing. The noodles are made in-house, and you can tell. The broth was so flavorful, and yes spicy as I like it. My wife got a cold noodle and chicken dish, which I tasted and would have been very happy with that. I think this may be the best Ramen restaurant in the metropolitan area. Not fancy, kind of what you would find in some town in Japan. You come here for the food, not the ambiance. But I'll take this over fancy surroundings and mediocre food every time. If you love home cooked Ramen done the way it has been done in families for centuries , then go try Tampopo Ramen.

We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.

The music set a fun vibe, and the service was nice and attentive. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen ($12.50) and sake bombs with House Sake ($3) and Kirin Light ($7.50). I loved that the sake came in a clear tokkuri. The ramen was soo delicious. I added some chili oil to my broth to give it some spice. The spice is one of those that slowly creeps up on you, but doesn't linger too long. The chashu pork was thin and savory. I usually don't enjoy bean sprouts, but here they were subtle and added a pleasant texture to the ramen. I also love that they included the naruto fish cake. I think what makes this place stand out is that at this price point, quality ramen like this is rare to find nowadays. I would consider this place a hidden gem and definitely recommend it if you are near the area. I look forward to eating it again!
