Came to this other location on our way out of Utah since we loved it so much! We again ordered the Philly Bleu and Cream Cheese Steak and added fresh jalapeños to our sandwiches, I also added provolone to the cream cheese steak and it made an already amazing sandwich even better! There was a line when we got there but they get through the line fairly quickly. It's clean inside and this location seems more like the original location and the one in South Jordan has a more updated interior. I am sad to be leaving this place in Utah behind! Love this place after the other one in Lehi closed down. This is about a 45 min drive for us but still worth it.

My husband and I split the blue cheese cheesesteak and it was so good! I'm a huge fan of blue cheese so I really appreciated the amount of blue cheese crumbles on the sandwich. The blue cheese was warm and gooey so it was even better. The amount of beef on the sandwich with plentiful. The bread was nice and soft too. I would definitely order this again and recommend this for anyone who loves blue cheese. I love how they have a drive-through window so you are able to get in and out quickly. Definitely could've been better. A couple years ago I would've given them 5 stars, but recently their cooking is extremely mediocre. The cream cheesesteak especially. It's like they dump it in water, it's slop. The garlic was decent but neither of them are worth $12. $8 at best. Doesn't even come close to moochies, it blows this place out of the water. My first exposure to one of these was from a friend telling me they were a rival for Moochie's, which we then settled in a more or less head to head competition and both came away with the conclusion that viewpoint was decidedly false. The big thing here is the Cheez Whiz and the cherry peppers. I certainly love cherry peppers, no question, but I've always found the sandwiches overall to be fine, but nothing hugely special. This time, after a layoff of a few years, I went for the hottest one they had, which had no heat, even with both of the two "hotter" condiments. Sandwich was okayish, but nothing I'd trek to this relatively distant location to have again. I did like Coke Zero in the fountain, but more and more places are latching onto this, so it's less an anomaly than previously. I will say that despite it being somewhat busy, they did manage to get it the sandwich out fairly quickly, so good on them for that. Certain nothing wrong with this visit, but I did find the gap between this and the titan that is Moochie's to be somewhat larger than previously. Overall, it was solid, fine to hit that craving if you're in the area, but not sure I'd put it much above that. read more

I ordered through the drive through window for takeout dinner, for the most part the order went smooth. The only area where I had to repeat myself several times was after ordering the cherry pepper cheesesteak and asking to add pastrami. From my view the cashier and staff did have masks on, so maybe they've improved from past reviews. My staple is the cream cheesesteak, so good with cherry pepper horseradish sauce. Just as a pre cursor, I have lived in Philadelphia center city for five years, and I always had my cheesesteaks on south street in South Philly, the best place to get Philly cheesesteaks... So having walked into the Lehi/Highland location... I was fully expecting a mediocre experience, but some glimmer of hope came as soon as I saw cheese whiz as an option on each hoagie on the menu... I was like okay this place has their Philly menu on point.... In addition, the fact that they use the word hoagie was sending a lot of Philly vibes..... Then, low and behold, as soon as I bought the sandwich, I noticed from opening it that it looks exactly like how they make it in south Philly. The best sandwiches in the area by far. I come here once a month. Up until today it was a 5 Star recommendation. Today as I was eating my sandwich I watch the guy who had handed me my lunch minutes before walk out into the seating area and with his gloves hand he pushed the garbage down so more could fit in. Then we walked back into the kitchen and without changing his glove he went right back to preparing food and handing it out. Someone needs to review the food handler class materials. This place is just a-OK. The sandwiches have the flavor but the texture and consistency decline so rapidly that you cannot enjoy it. There is a lot of grease involved and it quickly destroys the bun. Do not order this to go, you will have a soup before you get home. That being said, I like the flavor. The garlic steak is worth the order if you can eat it quick. If the bun could hold the contents for a bit longer this place would be fantastic. It is a bit pricey for the footlong and the 6 inch is not enough food to fill you up. These are the best CheeseSteaks you can get around. It's really hard to find a good cheesesteak place but they do it well. I'm kinda a plain Jane so I just like to get the Traditional and no onions and get white American cheese. But I eat it with there amazing Jalapeño sauce!! So freaking good!! That's a solid sandwich. I had the mushroom pepper steak with provolone because it's first on the menu and menus drive me nuts. But it was right tasty and they turned my order out much more quickly than I expected. Nothing super exciting going on here, with standard fountain drinks available and a small (but sure to work on yours) kids' menu, but solid food fast is always a good thing. I wasn't sure what "DP" was when they came to town but I quickly learned that they make really good cheesesteak sandwiches. I've had the mushroom steak and cheese several times and it never disappoints. The bread is incredibly soft and moist and is what sets these apart from other cheesesteak sandwiches. There are 4 Cheesesteak places near this on in Lehi, UT. Moochies, two DP Cheesesteaks and one more in American Fork Area. By far this is the best. I was born and raised in Philly. Where DP places compared to Philly Cheesesteak places is as follows (Philly Area): Much better than Pat's and Gino's (few people from Philly will go to these places -FYI) on par with "Big John's" of old, Tellaricos, Frank's in Wildwood, NJ Slightly less than , Delassandros, Jim's Much less than Tony Luke's (Reference for all Cheesesteaks - but will not go there now because how he treated his Dad) As a comparison I got at each place above and below: Cheesesteak light on White American, extra cooked Onions, extra Marinara sauce. Service was quick, meant to please. One thing that happened was order was put in ticket, but not followed by the Short Order Cook the first time but was corrected and followed correctly the second time exactly. (This happened at a past visit to DP) so be careful to stay at the counter if getting it right is important. read more
