I used to frequent t a different location years ago frequently for lunch. I decided it was time to try the location by my home. I walked in and ordered with no waiting. I ordered my usual hot Pastrami sandwich with no mayonnaise. To me mustard and dill Picked is all I need. The sandwich was ready in just a few minutes. It was just was I expected. I am obsessed with Jersey Mike's chipotle chicken cheesesteak. This was right next to a place that we were visiting so we popped in. I was really excited to see that you could substitute any of their steaks for chicken, when receiving the steak the bread wasn't warmed at all and it just had big fat chunks of chicken in it, so it didn't even remotely resemble a cheesesteak. We each got the foot-long Philadelphia Blue cheesesteak, which is filled with blue cheese, onions and mushrooms. We also picked up a cream cheese, cheesesteak for my wife, also with mushrooms and onions. Note that this place moves fast. Orders are taken by a smiling cashier, then prepared very quickly and efficiently. The lobby is large, with plenty of seating, and all of it was clean, even though we were in the midst of the lunch rush. We sat down to hot, fresh, fully loaded cheesesteaks, and my friend was right about it being unforgettable. The buns were pillowy, soft, yet sturdy enough to hold more than a pound of thinly sliced beef and cheese. Simply amazing taste! The foot-long really is more than enough for two smaller appetites. Probably the best cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. I got the Cream Cheese Steak and you honestly can't go wrong with adding cream cheese with more cheese on this sandwich. My partner got the Philly Bleu Steak and that also had a great component of the bleu cheese adding that musky flavor to the sandwich, which is a great flavor if you enjoy bleu cheese! Best cheesesteak I've ever had! Came here for lunch one day because my friend wanted Flake pie next door, but my stomach was craving a cheesesteak and not pie. Got the garlic cheesesteak and it's SOOO GOOD. They make it fresh after you order and the bread they use to hold everything just soaks up all the juicy goodness. The bread is always fresh and soft, they never skimp on the meat portions either. The beef they use is tender and not chewy/overly fatty like some places. First time coming here. My wife and I shared a large mushroom cheesesteak. It was EXCELLENT! The bread is fluffy and kinda salty, and the meat is so good I'd be happy eating a plate of it all by itself. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I was a little disappointed at how small even the 9" sub is. It's pretty skinny and doesn't have a ton inside the bread so it's fairly pricey for what you're getting. None the less, it would be more than worth it to return to eat here again. Wanted to see if my taste buds were off and ordered a large pepper steak with the jalapeno sauce and the cherry pepper sauce. Both sauces were quite good. Seriously, Utah: why can't anyone in this state make decent cheesesteaks? I've been to the famous (Moochie's) and the local joints (now out of business), and I probably should've known better than to give yet another place a try. Now I can add DP to the list of the nastiest Philly cheesesteaks in town. These are disgusting sandwiches and aren't worth your time. First off, the restaurant was absolutely filthy. Dirty tables, sticky floors, trash overflowing. I had to use the restroom but I opened the door, thought "nope," and just washed my hands with the hand sanitizer that was in my bag. I ordered a philly cheesesteak with extra meat and no bread (I'm a low carber) and the kitchen gladly complied and put my beef on a piece of lettuce. I appreciated their willingness to work with me, but the food was just so very bad. The beef was of a poor quality as was the cheese, and there wasn't enough of it, especially for the far too expensive price I paid. It also tasted like it hadn't been seasoned at all and was overly greasy. The portion size was laughable, it was literally like four bites of food! See my photo! I don't get blown away often but I left them a $20 dollar tip and told the cook and manager what a great job they did. Funny the maintenance of the place was not great but when the food is the best you have had you forget the other things because the food is why you were there. I usually get the Whiz Steak... it has cheese wiz, grilled onions and delicious steak. Today, for the first time ever, I added garlic butter... OMG do it. First, I love the sandwiches here. I don't eat out often but DP is one of my favorites and is on my way home after a long day at work. Twice now I've ordered online so as to avoid standing in the lobby, waiting and twice now I have stood in the lobby, waiting. I've arrived, both times, a little earlier than the estimated time given on my order. Both times I've watched the girl behind the counter make a sandwich that looks very much like what I've ordered, wrap it, bag it and place it on the back shelf. Both times I've watched people who walked in while I was waiting be served before I was.
