Never know when going for a mall appointment how long it will be but it went great and I waited the 30 mins and had a relaxing foot and leg massage and pedi. Got towels, soak and lotion is what these alligator feet needed. They have two walls worth of color and it helps they were all organized by color vs hunting for the right shade. read more

The service was so bad, for a simple French in acrylic they wanted to charged me 90 dollars, for nails that look like they are not even worth 50 dollars. I was very pleased with how they came out- & the designs blew me away. She is so talented and I cannot wait to go back to her for my new set of Halloween nails. I've been going here for quite sometime. I went in this morning and it wreaked of sewer to the point where i thought the toilet backed up. I tried to book an appt on the phone and it rings and rings and no one answers so I drove to make my appt. Last week With Tiffany. She was quite rude and looked annoyed that I went in to make an appt. But not sure what else to do when they don't answer the phone. I showed up this morning at 9:05 for my 9:00 A.M. and she took a walk in to take my place. When I went for my 9 a.m. 3 weeks ago they were not even open yet and I had to wait in my car until they decided to show up and open. When Tiffany cannot take you like this they put you with someone else and it normally consist of soaking your hands endlessly in acetone. I was very vocal this morning and not happy about her taking someone else for my appt and said I would not be soaking in acetone for 40 minutes. Plus she will never do any designs I request. I honestly felt like she is rude and thinks she is doing me a favor by taking me. If you want to be treated poorly by a rude woman, ask for Tiffany. She does a great job on nails but it's not making up for her bad bedside manner. read more

One word: rough. If you don't mind having your feet and hands pushed and smacked around, this is your place. Or I guess if you do acrylics (is that a Manchester thing?) The pedicure was done by a young man who evidently hates feet, but at least didn't smudge like the manicure. I went to a different nail salon and had a horrible dip manicure prior so the tech had a lot to "fix". She was meticulous and gentle. It was quiet, clean and relaxing. I just went to K & T for my first mani and pedi since March. I have to say I was very impressed with the changes they have made to keep everyone safe. They have installed plexiglass shields at every nail station, all workers are wearing masks, and they wear shields when they do pedis. They did a temperature check and had me sign a form with my contact information, and had me confirm that I have not travelled recently or been sick. I was also pleased with both my mani (dip powder) and pedi, both carefully done and look great (so much better! it's been a long few months). This was not my regular salon before the pandemic, but my regular salon has not reopened, and I am very happy with the service I received today. I will go back! read more

Clean salon with good selection of polishes and nice staff. No appointment needed. I had a regular mani/pedi and they didn't try to up-sell me, which seems to be the new normal. Much appreciated that they didn't argue when I said that I dd not want a deluxe pedicure or shellac nails. Also they are not overly chatty which I appreciate. Very happy with my experience here. This place totally screwed up my nails. I had acrylics put on and they drilled the crap out of my nails, even after I asked if they could not use a drill (I work in a hair salon so I know they don't HAVE TO use a drill, it's just sheer laziness.) After three days, two of the nails fell off, and I went back and they told me that I would be CHARGED for the nails! WTF? Never heard of that.... especially after a few days of them being on! After a few weeks of the nails growing out, I soaked them off with acetone and my nails had serious drill lines and my nails were so soft and wouldn't grow well. I wouldn't go back and the only saving grace was that the place was quite clean and they had tons of options for colors. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't go back! read more

don't waste your time here, paid $30 for gel manicure on Wednesday nails chipping by Thursday. I went back on Friday and asked if they would fix two nails. I was given such a hard time first told I needed an appointment because they were busy...literally no customers in salon and 3 workers sitting around, so I said I don't live around here but will be back on Tuesday...told no to late. So debating with me saying they offer no guarantees.. I say not even for 1 day after paying 30 for a manicure? No everyone pays the same and no guarantees. Awful experience. The one star is for the comfy chairs. I went there with a friend and even with a whole collection of people standing around doing nothing, our pedi's started at different times. The tech that worked on my feet was rushed and not very thorough. The tech cut my cuticle then proceeded to wipe the blood spilling from my toe with the towel my foot was resting on and just kept going with the pedicure! She also had a cough and unlike most members of the human race, didn't bother to cover her mouth or turn her head or anything. At least I wasn't charged extra for the bit of lung lodged in my gushing toe wound. The little toe separator was shoved between my toes with no finesse and some of my toes are a little wonky but she was determined to make it work. The polish was very sloppily applied. On some parts its pooled up and others its on my skin. When she finished she didn't say anything just got up and wandered off and left me to dry rather than tell me to go over to the dryers (which I didn't realize were there). After about 5 min she turned off the TV in what I assume was my cue to get the hell out of the salon so she and her cohorts go start watching TV in the chairs a few stalls down. There are so many better places to get a pedicure, places where they take pride in their work that there is no reason to EVER come back to K & T salon. read more

I got acrylic nails and my index nail ended up being really curved. She said it was because my nail was very long however my original nail place had never done that and I've gotten them longer before. I had her redo it and it was exactly the same so I I let it slide because I really needed my nails done for a mini vacation. When she re did them she put a different top coat on all my nails and on my pinky nails the top coat ended up coming off 1 DAY after redoing them. This all happened in less than 3 days. Then a week later when I got back from my vacation I went back to get them off because of how horrible they looked and they made me pay 10$ to remove them. Even though the lady on the phone said that it would've been free because it was less than a week. Um the lady that did my nail was very nice AT FIRST but I definitely will never go back. I ordered a nail kit online and did my own and I can say that it looks way better than how they did! Also cheaper. Save your $$ read more

I was really sad when I had to stop coming here. I used to get pink & white here ALL THE TIME, was in every week for fills, and you would think you would get top notch service being a repeat customer. Not the case. My first pink & white was great and it cost less than a salon down the road because they will buff your nail and save the added cost of gel top layer. The more I went, the less happy I was, bubbles in my acrylic, yellowing of the product, lifting too early, inattentiveness from my tech. The last straw was 3 days after a re-apply I have 2 nails crack off and they CHARGED me for the fix, after forgetting about me sitting in acetone while they attended to other clients. Never again. You may save some money on your initial services but you'll pay more going back more often for fixes. Oh yea! And I would book appointments, only to come in and they would have given it to someone else or just forgot to put me in the book. Ugh. read more

Worst service and manicure ever. Nail tech was very rough and rude!! She managed to cut me THREE different times! When I told her I was not happy and to not cut me again she proceeded to tell me that she cut me because "you need to come every two weeks." I called her out and told her absolutely not and that is not a reason to cut someone. When I told her that I wasn't paying full price because of the fact that one of my fingers was still bleeding she never apologized and again blamed me for not going there every two weeks for a manicure. Wow, I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews. I've always gotten a good manicure or pedicure at K & T , and I've been going there for several years now. I can't speak to the performance of all of the nail techs, as I always go to "Anne" , but my experience has always been positive. You can't beat the price. It is a quick pedicure, but that works for me as I like getting in and out quickly. I have had pedicures in other salons where my heels were tender due to excessive abrasion, so at K & T they may not always be perfectly smooth, but certainly adequate.
