The reviews are absolutely right on! I was a bit skeptical given my prior experience with ADT Corporate and was very close to terminating ADT altogether. But boy, was I glad I called Ruben! He listened, heard what we were looking for, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help provide us with 5***** customer service!! I highly recommend Ruben Salas and his installer, Franco. I already had a home alarm system that was provided by Time Warner in a package deal. The TW system was basic but seemed adequate. Then I received a letter informing me of their decision to leave the home alarm business. Thus, I began my online research of alarm companies and quickly became overwhelmed with choices. I then made the mistake of making an online inquiry on a couple of websites. I soon became inundated with the "seedy side" of alarm companies. I was given false promises and lied to by several marketing agents. One of the online companies that I had contacted was ADT. I had spoken with an ADT representative who was very pushy and obnoxious. He sounded more-like a con man to me. However, I had a previous positive experience with the ADT company which monitored a previous home I owned. ADT is a very large company with many different independent installers. As the old saying goes, if a deal sounds to be good to be true, it is probably not true.
