Great food, friendly customer service and a chill clean place to eat. Hit the spot. I got the BBQ Beef plate and was very satisfied.

10/10! First time trying this place tonight and the quality was good and the price was very affordable for the amount of food. The service was good and quick. Chill vibes inside for sure.

Malasadas. Yeah we couldn't wait to eat most of them before snapping a pic

We were pleased to see a new Hawaiian bbq place open up close to home and had a a chance to try it out last night. Good decision as it turned out! The place is pleasant and clean although a bit sparse still. They're clearly working on it still but it's nice. The service was super friendly and quick and the menu is actually a bit more extensive than I initially suspected. We ordered some potstickers, which were delicious and not as thick and chewy as they often are in other places. We also got one of each type of musubi and found them all to be really good. My wife ordered the BBQ mix, which was huge (like three meals worth) and all of the meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I got the chicken katsu curry, crispy and tasty with a nice mild curry sauce. I could have gotten the mini version and still been full. As it was we took a LOT home. Our friend got the kalua pork and she was very happy with it also. We're suckers for malasadas and we were very pleasantly surprised to find them on the menu. Coming out hot and fresh we ate too many, but we couldn't help ourselves - that's how good they are! This is easily our favorite Hawaiian BBQ place now.

Bbq mix plate: chicken; great flavor, short rib; chewy, teriyaki beef underneath was flavorful but fatty.

Classic Hawaiian bbq taste that won't disappoint but won't blow you out of the water. Staff was very friendly. The inside was nice and clean. Great portions, leaves you full. I got the mix BQQ plate; white rice and Mac salad exactly what you'd expect. Short rib was flavorful but chewy; a bit overcooked, teriyaki chicken had great flavor; a bit overcooked as well. And the teriyaki beef was good but fatty. Didn't expect anything amazing so I was pleased. Overall I liked it and enjoyed my meal. The teriyaki sauce and flavors really saved the dish. I'd be back, and try other aspects of the menu.

This place is amazing and the food was authentic. I had the chicken katsu with gravy and its was one of the best I had. The staff was friendly and lots of place to sit.

Service was nice and friendly, quiet, cleaned. Food was good; macaroni salad on point, sort ribs (ono)

opened recently and I'm telling you, this is a hidden gem.. my third visit here and I'm ready to tell everybody that this place is off the hook. Consistently clean, excellent customer service, and there's the food. Lumpia, loco moco, garlic shrimp was amazing.,,the best Hawaiian food I've had in Sacramento. not sure if they're all Japanese influenced, but this one is and if you're ever craving some great Island food give this family owned kitchen a chance to satisfy your taste buds!! Oh and the Macaroni salad is exceptional.

Saw on IG that they opened a 2nd location in Carmichael which is closer to me than their Elk Grove location. They recently opened a few days ago and since my husband and I were craving Hawaiian food today after a Costco run, we decided to stop by. The place is located in a plaza at a busy intersection so you can't miss it. It's located where Burger Im used to be next to Jamba Juice. There's plenty of parking spaces and when you go inside, there's also a good amount of seating. Since they just opened this location, there are still some things they need to configure like their kiosk to do self-service and their soda fountain but I didn't mind. My husband and I were seated right away and were given menus. The menu had a good amount of options and I liked that they had a healthy plate option that included brown rice and salad. My go-to meals at Hawaiian places is the chicken katsu plates so that's exactly what I ordered. I got the Chicken Katsu Mini Plate while my husband got the Half & Half Chicken Full Plate. We also ordered a Spam Musubi for each of us to start off with and also Malasadas to take to-go. The Spam Musubis came out first which was a perfect start to our meal and we liked the balance of the rice and sauce they put in it. Right after, our main dishes came out and for a Mini Plate, the portion size was HUGE! Then my husband's Full Plate came out and it was even more portions! We were both surprised with the amount of food that our dishes came with that we ended up not finishing it all and had to get a to-go box. We literally filled our to-go box to the point where it looked like we ordered a third plate lol! We also liked the amount of katsu sauce they give both when dining in and when taking a sauce to-go. Finally, our Malasadas were given to us as we were heading out and they were still hot and fresh which was the best time to eat them! We each ate one when we got to our car and told ourselves we would only eat one each but we ended up eating another because they were that good! Overall, my husband and I were really impressed with the portion sizes, the quick service, and especially how much everything costed us! The prices for the items on their menu were a bit more affordable compared to other Hawaiian food spots. The prices that stood out the most for us was a Spam Musubi for $2.95 and the Malasadas for $6.99 for 10 pieces! We will definitely be back and can't wait to see when they have everything put together to make their restaurant and business continue to flourish and serve the Sacramento community with their amazing Hawaiian dishes!

Honestly took some bites of the chicken before the photo. The chicken is tender, juicy and flavorful. The Mac salad taste super fresh and the rice well is perfectly cooked. This is my second time coming in to a place with great service. I called in the order and it was ready and piping hot upon arrival. Let alone the place is super clean. This is a family owned restaurant that needs the business it deserves. I highly recommend 10/10.

If you are craving Hawaiian food- this is the spot!! New off off Fair oaks Blvd and Manzanita. Chill vibe upon entering- very welcoming, feels like you're eating inside of your home. Clean environment, clean restrooms. Love it!! The waiter greeted and seated us immediately with such professionalism and enthusiasm, then owner came to check on us as well. Food: ordered the garlic shrimp plate- the way the shrimp is cooked and marinated, with drizzled oil saturated into the cabbage underneath is so delicious !! The brown rice scoop is just enough and soft. The spam musubi reminded me of Hawaii.. sooo good!!! The macaroni salad.. ugh one of the best I've had. My fiancé had the fried fish and shrimp plate. He devoured it. I took a bite of the fish and wow.. it melted in my mouth.. so tender and crispy on the outside. If I could kidnap a chef... but I wouldn't!! Thank you for the kind hospitality and delightful meal!

Stopped in for lunch, wife had garlic shrimp plate. I had chicken katsu (mini) was good size, perfect for lunch. Tried the lumpia, very good (but wish they were bigger with more filling ) The lady working here was very nice!

Left over chicken Katsu. Huge portion.

I tried this new place out the other day, because it's in the shopping center by my house. It was pretty good, I ordered the fried rice, bbq beef, chicken katsu and a side of lumpia. My wife ordered the chicken Katsu plate. The people working were very friendly, and the portions were huge. We had enough food left over for a whole other meal for me, my wife and my daughter. If you like Hawaiian bbq, check it out.

    I ordered the strawberry milkshake!
    Mr W.

The milkshakes here are the best! When i went up to go order my desert, the worker was very sweet and even went as far as bringing out my drink (something I didn't expect)! The overall environment was very welcoming and clean. I usually don't have anything negative to say about this spot. 10/10, better than L&L

I really wish this could have lived up to my expectations as I was craving BBQ. I wished it was just that Asians didn't want BBQ, but maybe there were other reasons. First of all, I took the bite into the chicken and I wasn't sure if I asked for Chicken Jerky. ALL pieces were DRY like the dessert. The links were fine. The ribs again, not super dry, but not fall off the bone and slightly over-seasoned, especially with close to no bbq sauce. The brisket, beyond well done and seems more like tossed in an oven and called it a day. It didn't seem like anything was cooked there, just..... moved there to serve and sitting out maybe for way too long. If I saw the way the chicken was, I wouldn't even dare to serve it to customers. Overall, very disappointing. I do wish you don't skimp out on the sauce at least. Every piece of meat should be dripping in sauce, not only on 10% of it. You can see how dry my plate is in the photos. I'm sure this is better if it wasn't at the night market, but this is the only place I was able to try and probably will try. Best of luck.
