Well overdue review for Dr. Morno, Dr. Bahkos and their staff. To preface, I'm a licensed…read moreesthetician myself and previously worked for a cosmetic dermatologist so have had my fair share of different providers take care of me. I've been seeing Dr. Morno for a year or so, for Botox and filler. She is amazing! I've never been so happy with my results, she is humorous, very smart and kind. Listens to my likes/dislikes. Such an artist! She has amazing credentials as an Allergan trainer and experience as an ocular surgeon. I would not go to anyone else for injections moving forward. She also performed a session of microneedling/PRF injections under my eyes and the results are fantastic. I've scheduled another session. I would trust no one else with my under eye. 10/10! I can't say enough about her. In addition, I visited Dr. Bakhos for surgical removal of a lesion right on my cheek and the results healed beautifully. I would highly recommend both of them, whether you are needing a surgical treatment or simply visiting the med spa. Both med spa and surgery offices have the KINDEST, most professional staff. These treatments are not the most fun and someone is there every time holding your hand. Everyone I have met has been patient, kind, communicative and so well educated on procedures/processes/outcomes. Shoutout to Alicia, Alexa and the awesome assistant who worked with me during Dr. Bahkos procedure. Highly recommend for the best service and results every time. Do not hesitant to visit RL.

I'm disappointed with how this office handled a missed appointment. I did not receive a text…read morereminder or confirmation for the appointment, which I typically rely on--especially since the appointment was scheduled far in advance. I was not informed that no reminder would be sent. When I explained this, I was told that reminders are only a courtesy and that patients are fully responsible regardless. While I understand policies, I was hoping for some flexibility or a one-time courtesy waiver given the circumstances. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to meet in the middle. Because of this experience, I chose to cancel my future appointments. Just sharing so others are aware to closely track appointments on their own and not rely on reminders. After I requested cancellation of my future appointments, I did not receive a response or confirmation that my future appointments are cancelled. This further reinforced my experience of poor communication.

2 years post surgery and the tummy tuck looks even worse! This man is just money hungryread more

At our initial consultation on June 12, he was polite but seemed rushed and didn't spend much time discussing details. Still, he offered to perform the procedure at a reasonable price, so I decided to move forward. The surgery itself went smoothly, but recovery was incredibly painful. I couldn't stand upright for weeks. By January, I noticed swelling in my upper abdomen, which I initially assumed was just part of the healing process. Unfortunately, the bulge continued to grow rapidly, and I knew something wasn't right. I called Dr. Madry's office and was told he was leaving the country and wouldn't be available for another two weeks. At that point, the swelling was about the size of a lemon and getting bigger every day. When I expressed my concern, I was shocked by how I was treated. The office staff was dismissive, defensive, and even blamed me for not coming in sooner. Dr. Madry later called me from overseas and also made me feel shamed and at fault. They referred me to another surgeon at Good Shepherd who was covering for him, but I was told he wouldn't be able to see me for another week. Meanwhile, the bulge had grown to the size of a grapefruit. After some research, I realized I was likely dealing with a seroma--a fluid-filled pocket left behind after surgery. As a professional photographer, this growing mass made it extremely difficult to work. In desperation, I contacted my previous surgeon in Chicago, Dr. Michael Lee, who drained a significant amount of fluid from the area. I continued to see him for repeat aspirations--about ten times--until it became clear that this was not sustainable financially or logistically. Emotionally drained and hesitant to return to Dr. Madry after my experience, I resorted to draining it myself every few days. It's a painful and risky process, involving sterilizing the area and inserting a four-inch needle into my abdomen. Dr. Lee has now advised that I'll need another surgery to permanently resolve the seroma. It will cost $5,000 and require two weeks off work. I've had over ten surgeries in my life and never had any issues--until now. This has been my worst medical experience. Not only is the seroma still present, but the incision from the tummy tuck is large and poorly done. I also continue to have significant swelling that gives the appearance of a pot belly--on top of the seroma in my upper abdomen. Looking back, I deeply regret not investing in a more experienced and compassionate surgeon. I wish I had paid more for someone who would've treated me with care and delivered better results. This has been emotionally, physically, and financially devastating.

I came into the Water Tower Mall location on Michigan Ave. and Michelle was the nurse that injected me. Michelle was extremely personable and knowledgeable. As someone that has been getting Botox for 10+ years and worked at a MediSpa for 5 years, I would like to think of myself as a self-proclaimed expert on the matter. Right away, Michelle asked exactly what area I wanted to treat and gave me her ideas. The injections were very quick and painless. Afterward, she reminded me of the care instructions (no exercise, raise your brows a ton, stay upward, you know the drill!) I felt so comfortable and will certainly be back to see her. Oh, and I had a Groupon for a STEAL. If you are contemplating Botox, look up Chicago Institute of Plastic Surgery and I promise it'll be worth your while, especially if you're on the fence about the procedure.

Although I really dislike leaving negative reviews, I feel compelled to express my concerns, so others are aware. After the surgery, I noticed a line and indentation above my jawline on the right side of my face. When I asked Doctor Block if it would eventually fade, his response was simply, "maybe, maybe not." I returned for a follow-up hoping for more guidance, but the suggestion was to use fillers. This left me wondering why I had bothered with a Facelift in the first place if fillers were going to be the solution. Additionally, the neck lift that was supposed to improve my appearance did not meet my expectations. My neck still looks problematic, and despite multiple visits, I felt there was a lack of concern or helpful input from Doctor Block and their staff. Even after nearly a year had passed, I sent photos asking for advice after consulting with two other surgeons, but the response remained indifferent. Based on my experience, I would caution others against choosing Doctor Block for facial surgery. I did not feel supported or cared for by them or their staff throughout the process. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.
