Juda is a very nice guy, but we had a number of issues with our phones after they repaired them. They tried a few times to repair our phones, but they were just never right. A friend of ours, who we originally referred to them, also said she had issues with her phone after they repaired it. I had previously fixed my iPhone 6 in this store. Second time here to fix an iPhone 5 for a friend. There are probably a lot of people offering these service but honestly these folks have the best prices not only for phones but also laptop, data recovery, all hardware and software fixes. I mean 39.99 for a screen repair is great. And it only takes 10 minutes. The phone looks really in shape and there is no sign of repair. The guy helped us was named Juda. He was polite, responsive and fast and got us out of the store in not more than 20 minutes for the whole negotiation, fixing and payment. Overall customer service was excellent. read more

That was very shorted lived. First of all let me clarify that I am not avid yelper so this update should have been posted long ago. Shortly after the repair the phone and the screen started to come apart at one of the corners, thus creating a small gap. I called like 3 to 4 weeks after the repair and they said that it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. I ended up taking the phone to the Apple Store and it got done right for a bit more than what I paid at this establishment and needless to say it lasted a long time until I lost the phone... (yes, I break and lose phones don't judge me). They did give me a discount for checking in and writing a review, so I basically sold my soul (Never again). read more

These guys are great! My 8 year old broke off a lighting cable piece in an iPad. We got the piece out, but the charging port no longer worked, so once the batter died, it was a dead iPad. When I went to Apple they said the only option was to buy another one (which they'd sell me for $250) and when I went to several non-apple places, no one would touch the iPad saying replacing a charging port was too complex. Basically, I had a $450 paperweight. I found these guys via Google and then Yelp and sent an email. Juda answered and told me they could replace the lightning port. He cautioned me that there was a risk of cracking the screen, but if that happened, it could be replaced as well. I brought in the iPad and 3 days later, it was working perfect, without any kind of screen replacement. The whole ordeal cost me less than $100. From paperweight to perfect working order in 3 days, all thanks to Juda and his team. Can't say enough positive about them. I hope not to need their service agilain, but guarantee that if I do, I'll use them in a heartbeat. read more

I am absolutely appalled. I brought my MacBook Pro in here because it had the white screen of death. Juda said he was going to replace the video card. When I picked up my computer it worked for about an hour and then it went back to the white screen of death. When I brought it back he said "it will need a new video card I just worked on the existing video card." Which is a bunch of bullshit for $250 you should get a new video card installed. I brought it back and waited another few days, picked it up and now the lights on my keyboard don't work. This establishment is extremely unprofessional and they have no integrity with their work. I strongly suggest that you don't waste your time and money with this ridiculous place. OK so after a month of having my computer back I am once again staring at a white screen. So I pretty much wasted my time with this establishment as well as dumped a couple bucks with these guys. Smh. read more

I came in after I accidentally dropped and broke my external hard drive to see if my files could be recovered. I didn't appreciate the proprietor's tone of voice when I told him what had happened; I felt bad enough that I had lost so many important files and was then made to feel like I was putting them out and that working on my hard drive would be a tremendous amount of work. I was told it was $75 up front and that the hard drive would be destroyed in the process of trying to recover the files, so I basically had a one-time shot. I had to call three times over the course of the next month to check on their progress. During the third call, I was informed that they tried to recover the files but there was ultimately nothing they could do (something they had known for a week, but no one ever called to tell me). The 1-star review does not reflect their inability to save the files-- I believe they did their best and obviously know much more about this kind of work than I do-- but rather, their customer service. I would have appreciated a more thoughtful interaction when I first came in, as well as a follow-up call when they realized they could not save my hard drive. read more

After trying most other tech places in the area, dr digital was the only one to correctly fix my computer for a good price. I had several expert friends look at the computer and it was too complex to fix but the masters at dr digital didn't even flinch once I brought it in. The owner has truly hired some masters in the tech repair field and the pricing was almost below market average. What's most important to me when it comes to tech items is trusting the shop and I can vouch that they gave me back my $2,000 computer cleaner and newer than when I handed it in, proving that their serious about their customer service. A man on the phone informs me my laptop is not ready but I could expect a call that day, I double check he has the correct #. 1 more week goes by so I pop in. Juda expressed frustration that my laptop had been there for a month. I attempted to share the timeline of calls but he grew defensive & rude and I don't engage with people like that. What I like about these guys, is you can text them before you bring your phone and get some sort of an idea if they can even fix it or not. In response to the owner's response to my review, it is in fact this location. I have no personal issue against the owner, but rather the people I dealt with for my repair. I have statements to prove it and the two names I remembered were Juda and Sam. The first issue was with Sam. He ordered the wrong battery for my MacBook so he then made me pay an additional $10, wait longer and come back another day. The customer service just wasn't there. The next issue was that the battery that was installed stopped working after one week!! read more

I wanted to update my review two months ago but I didn't have time until today. The story is that I got my cracked iphone 6 repaired with a refurbished screen from Dr. digital and worked well for about 2 months then the screen parts starts to coming off from frame. I didn't go back to Dr. digital because he had really bad attitude because of my 3 star review regarding writing review in the store. I went to another repair shop and was told that my refurbished screen was bad and cannot be repaired unless I replace a new one so I had to replace a new screen for my iphone 6. So far no problem with this new screen. I just wanted to share my bad experience with Dr. digital's refurnished screen on my iPhone 6. I got the refurbished screen coming off from frame returned to me so I have a proof of the bad refurbished screen. read more

I am back in business!!! No thanks to Sprint but a 1,000,000 thanks to Dr. Digital! I dropped my phone and completely shattered my screen; to the point that it was blacked out. I couldn't see any of my icons, couldn't read/send texts, answer my phone, turn it off, nothing!!! After spending almost hours on the phone with Sprint; I know entirely longer than I should have, I googled phone repair for Galaxy S7, Dr. Digital came up on yelp...5 stars and over 800 reviews I knew I couldn't go wrong. Dropped my phone off, they were nice, professional and fixed my phone in less time than I was on the phone with Sprint for!!! Just came in today and the service was amazing! Mike and another man helped us and they were so nice and professional. Mike was very fast and efficient with the other customers as well and with fixing my phone! I cracked my entire iPhone 6s Plus screen and they fixed it within 15-20 minutes! Highly highly recommend this place! WITH tax my total came up to $81.56 which is way way cheaper than going to an actual Apple Store and probably way faster. Will definitely come back (but hopefully I won't need to haha) Updated: my phone glitched. Fixed screen but didn't connect things properly, I say just go to the apple store. It's only 30-40$ more. a little update three months later from writing this review: The Yelp page says to check in and you get a discounted rate but that's false, they make you write a review in front of them in order to get a discounted rate. This explains all the good reviews (who would leave a bad review of a business in front of the business owner? It's called observer bias). At the time I wrote my original review, of course I'd give them a good rating because they fixed my broken screen, i thought I got a good deal, and the business owner was watching me write the review. The screen wasn't even placed evenly but at the time I thought an uneven screen was better than a cracked screen. About a month later (in April), I take my phone out of my pocket to see that a portion of the screen had CHIPPED OFF! but wait, it gets better... the entire screen is now coming off due to weak adhesive and is sometimes completely UNRESPONSIVE to touch. This has resulted in me unable to answer phone calls, or text people back right away. They clearly use cheaper material. The business owner may reply to my updated review and say my original review was three months ago and is irrelevant, and he's not responsible for what happens to my phone when it is out of the month warranty, but I am simply sharing my thoughts and experience with the business. I try to give honest and detailed reviews based on my experiences with a business and this is another one of those reviews. Take my advice and skip this place and just go straight to the Apple Store where you are guaranteed quality service. read more

Thank you Juda for taking care of the broken screen I had on my IPhone, and along the way the good advices and tips you mentioned about the mobile world out there', and how things work. Reason for the 5 star is because of price, honesty, and timeframe. He wasn't trying to up sell me with force, he did mention I can offer you this or that. I also took the time to read previous negative Yelp reviews, which is 3 out of 800. I clicked on each individual and noticed that those so called "yelpers" are not the most happy people and appreciative like Juda himself. Their reviews are all 1 star for other business, sad. Be happy what you get and what you're provided!!! In regards to one of the reviews, I'm thinking to myself: "if somebody cracks their screen after 4 months of a repair, why do you blame the owner of the business or his products, when 1st of all = YOU HAD THE PHONE FOR 4 MONTHS, I'm pretty sure you dropped it 17 times before it broke. Yes, they know how to fix phone screens, but don't be deceived by the good reviews. Those reviews aren't real. Believe me. My experience concluded with a call to LAPD. Owner, Juda, is a loudmouth who could sell ice to a polar bear. He is also as dishonest as the day as long. But, he knows how to talk his way out of anything. After they repaired an iphone 5 screen (competently enough), I brought in a MacBook Air with a damaged display. They did not know how to fix it. Wouldn't even give me a repair estimate. When I finally came to pick it up so I could take it to someone who knows how to fix it, Juda demanded a $100 for "storage" and "diagnosis." For something he did not know how to fix. Nothing in writing. When I balked at paying, Juda became aggressive and threatened to assault me and vandalize the computer. I called the cops. Juda tried to sweet talk them by promising an LAPD discount. Got the computer back minus the power cord which Juda kept for himself. Then, we learned that on top of everything else he destroyed the computer's motherboard. Just icing on the cake. Avoid, avoid, avoid! read more

DO NOT BELIEVE A SINGLE REVIEW HERE. Based on my experience this is what I think his business model is: he gives you a good discount if, while you're at his store, you allow him to write his own yelp review/rating on your account. That is what happened with me. After he repaired my phone, it was a complete disaster. The screen keeps pressing buttons on it's own, calling people, hanging up, etc. The phone went from broken screen but functional to completely unusable. When I went back, he not only did he refuse to help me out in any way, but he demanded EVEN MORE than the original charge to refix it, seemingly because he already had his yelp review. Furthermore, there were two other people in the store with the same dilemma. And I kid you not, at least one other phone call that must have been the same. He was rude and nasty to every person that needed further help after he messed their phone up. I couldn't believe the 180 on his attitude after he already got his money. Seriously read the reviews carefully before you decide to give him your phone. To me it seems he wrote them all himself. I have to let all Yelp! users know about Dr. Digital. This may be the most valuable Yelp! experience I have ever had. I say that because if you want to put a pricetag on how much I would have suffered and the time it would have taken to get me back in business vs. how they helped and what they charged then their assistance was the most valuable I have ever experienced. Before I continue, this is NOT a review for a cracked cell phone screen or some phone repair job. It appears there are a lot of reviews of that nature for this company. That is great and all but I needed a skilled laptop/desktop repair technician with knowledge of the latest Windows operating systems and updated versions. If you need COMPUTER REPAIR do not pass on this company just because you read a bunch of cracked glass iphone repair reviews. I run 2 internet companies and my lifeblood is my laptop. If it is out of commission then Im in deep trouble. I had been avoiding and X-ing out the Windows 10 upgrade for quite a while. I did NOT want to upgrade since I had major problems when I upgraded from 8 to 8.1 version. I never want to do this again especially because I use 5 screens and the multiple screen issues that arose were a disaster. Without going into a bunch of detail, NVidia cards were not supported and created problems. I had a computer repair expert come out to my office on a Saturday morning for an urgent call. He has experience with computer repair and has fixed issues for me in the past. I wont mention his name or company because he failed miserably. He not only did NOT fix the problem where I could not use all my other monitors but he managed to make my primary laptops screen completely BLACK. My laptop was now completely useless. At least before I had the one laptop screen. He advised me to take my laptop to Geek Squad at Best Buy. I was immediately skeptical and said I had issues with them and their level of expertise in the past. Then he advised me to go to Fry's which had an in house repair facility. I ran to Fry's on that Saturday where they tried to hook my laptop up to an external monitor. After a few quick troubleshooting steps they told me the standard garbage: we need 3 to 5 business days to diagnose the issue then we will most likely need to reinstall a clean version of windows- do you have everything backed up? Criminal. All I could think of was all the pop settings in outlook (I have over 50 emails) and all the other programs I would need to reinstall, etc. Just the most anxiety Ive had in a while. Their assessment and time to fix the issue was totally unacceptable. As a long shot, now being late in the day on a Saturday, I did a Yelp! search in my car for computer repair. I got a gentleman on the phone named Sam who said I could come in right now and we would take a look. When I arrived I saw a workshop where technicians were laboring over devices and electronics. Sam hooked my laptop up to an external monitor and let me know that he got the same result. However he just pressed CTRL+K or some letter which was the Windows 10 hot key for turning off the screen. That SIMPLE ACT fixed my monitor and I at the very least was back in business immediately! Remember, I had a veteran expert come to my office who couldn't figure this out and I had the Technician at Fry's who missed that as well. Only someone with working, up to date knowledge of the latest operating systems, in this case Windows 10, would know that this existed. Sam knew. This where it gets even better. Sam then showed me a very simple way to go to the control panel and then simply REVERT BACK to my exact original configuration of Windows 8.1! It was right there on the screen: he showed me how you go to this page and it asks you "Do you want to revert back to Windows 8.1?" He said you only have 14 days to do this option so do this asap. I said I would do it the second I drove back to the office. I said will this fix all my monitors in the office? He said yes it will go back to exactly the way it was. He was right. Everything is completely fixed now and its all because of the knowledge and expertise of Dr. Digital and Sam. I asked how much do I owe you? He said come on, what am I going to charge you for 5 minutes of work? He's so right. Other places would have kept my computer for 3-5 days simply so that they could charge more money. I know this is not a great way to stay in business as a small business owner but it it the best example I have seen to exhibit honesty, integrity and service. I did not pay a cent but I swore I would go and write Dr. Digital a good review. Its the very least I could do. Thank you. read more
