Let me start by saying I hate going to the dentist... Ok well I used to hate it until I went to Dr. Dino's Dental Oasis. When I walked in the door I was immediately greeted by a young lady who handed me paperwork to fill out and asked me if I would like some water. While I was filling out the paperwork I glanced around the waiting room and noticed it is very updated and had entertainment for children as well that included video games & a play room. I was also impressed by the calming effect the water features had on me being the type of person who's so afraid of the dentist. After completing the paperwork I was taken in the back to a chair to have my teeth cleaned, as soon as I sat in the chair I thought WOW it massages my back while getting my teeth cleaned, ok I can handle this!! I was also able to watch TV while my teeth were being cleaned which was a very nice distraction. The lady that cleaned my teeth was very informative and told me everything she was doing as she did it which also calmed my nerves. She seemed very knowledgeable and I noticed she enjoys her job and took pride in what she does. Dr Dino came in and greeted me with a warm smile and asked how I was doing and if I had any problem areas. He looked over my teeth and told me I need a root canal NOOOO I immediately thought and he was able to explain to me why and how it would be done until my nerves were calmed about having it done. He also was extremely great about preventative options and making sure everything was A-OK before ending the appointment. After my appointment I was offered a aqua massage while I waited for my husbands appointment to finish up. I thought to myself, seriously a massage at a dental office?! WOW ok count me in!! The young lady from earlier walked me back to the massage room and politley asked me to take off my boots before entering the machine (maybe the other person who wrote the review confused blouse with boots, wonder what was on her mind that day ;) LOL) she handed me a pair of hospital booties to put on and in the machine I went. I must say after being so afraid to go to the dentist, laying there I thought I can come here everyday! After the massage was over I was offered a cool towelette to freshen up and a mint. Threw my boots back on and walked out with some squeaky clean teeth and a relaxed feeling! I will without a doubt never be afraid to go to the dentist again as long as it is Dr Dino's Dental Oasis!! read more

Jan and Peter, I am at a loss for words for what you have said about Dr. Dino and his staff. I have never been to an office as incredible as theirs. When is the last time a doctor has had so much passion to offer the ammenities and latest technology like he does to his patients? When is the last time a dentist has taken a moment to personally ask how you are, your family, your children? I even got sang to by Dr. Dino and the whole staff when it was my birthday! The beautiful waiting room, the unexpected arcade that brings me back to my youth, the incredibly clean and comfortable rooms where there are massage chairs and a comfy pillow awaiting you and a warm towel and mint given after an amazing cleaning...among all the other touches(did I mention the aquamassage bed!), these are what Dr. Dino offers his patients. All this aside, he just knows his stuff. He's great at what he does, plain and simple. This is what keeps my family, my friends, my neighbors coming back. I know my money doesn't go towards the "bubbles" as you stated. That is his gift to his patients, of whom he has so generously cared for through the years. I actually look forward to my visits with Dr. Dino and his staff. I love his humor, it's what puts me at ease when I get my work done. In this economy, money is tight. But with Dr. Dino, not once have I ever found any charge unfair or "bogus" as you've stated. It's people like you, Peter and Jan, that expect free rides and saying hurtful things about good, honest people. Shame on you! Remember, there are always 2 sides to a story. For those reading this that have never been to Dr. Dino's Dental Oasis, I promise you that you will never go back to another office again once you have experienced their exceptional service. read more

I feel really embarassed for the people that have written horrible things about this practice. Obviously they just don't realize that you should be brushing twice a day. Dino and his wife "CELESTE" are amazing and caring individuals that have walked my full family of 5 through many cleanings and my 4 year old recently got his first filling and he couldn't wait to go back and dig through the treasure chest again. I personally have a veneer done by Dr. Dino and couldn't be more pleased. The color is perfect and a veneer, for those out of the know, is more difficult to attach than a filling and mine has been loud and proud for 4 years and counting. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this practice and cannot believe anyone would have negative things to say about the practice or their billing. They are one of the only practices that still work with insurance companies, They also are ENORMOUSLY family oriented and you will never have to tell them your name twice. What an amazing practice. He must be good at what he does seeing as how I did my research and he was the president of the Illinois State Dental Society. You want mediochre, go somewhere else, you want the best? Dr. Dino's Dental Oasis is superb....regardless of any negative "hype" you may read on here, they are THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO Prior to seeing Dr. Dino, I hadn't seen a dentist in 15 years, due to a past bad experience I had From the get-go, he & his staff made me feel comfortable....they took time explaining things to me- I was crystal clear on the treatment plan When they began the work, they were very patient, checking in with me every few minutes to see if I was doing ok, or if I needed any more medicine to be comfortable, etc. They have massaging chairs to relax you while they work, you watch TV the entire time, the staff is bubbly & super friendly...they go out of their way to make sure you have a good expereince The dental work itself was top notch- my teeth have never been in better shape Dr. Dino helped me overcome a long-standing fear I had...I enjoy interacting with him & his staff...they are good people, & they run a hell of a practice You CANNOT go wrong coming here read more

Dr. Dino is fantastic. I had gone to him because I had a dentist tell me I had to get a ton of work done that would have been thousands of dollars. After seeing Dr. Dino and telling me that I didn't need all that work put me ease. Dr. Dino cares about his patients and treats them with respect. The office staff also checked with my insurance before I came in and had anything done that it would be covered. I have never had a dentist office do that. I have recommend family and friends to Dr. Dino's Dental Oasis and I stand by it. DO NOT waste your time with anyone else. In my personal opinion I think Jan H needs to go to a mental ward and saying such horrible things about someone could be considered SLANDER! As for Peter I am very unclear how someone can give a 5 star rating on minute and then the next 1 star I think he is related to Jan H. I just moved here with my family and asked many people who they use for doctors and dentists. I had at least 3 people tell me that they used Dr. Dean Nicholas, "Dr. Dino". I was told that they were great but read some reviews and was hesitant. Let me tell you this, I LOVE this dentist! He is very kind, knowledgeable and above all else, gentle. The office is very clean and modern. The girls are extremely nice and they were able to accomondate my family's hectic schedule. I asked the office about some of the reviews that were negative and when you talk to them you will know what is the truth. I am so glad I listened to my gut and the people that I talked to who happen to also be current patients. My children love Dr. Dino and asked when they could go back. Great Dentist - Awesome Practice!!! When I first came to Dr. Dino he had just got out of dental school and started in a small office in Villa Park. I have been a patient of Dr. Dino's for 25 years and have watched him grow. He has always put his patients first! When my husband lost his job, Dr. Dino helped us out through that terrible time. I have my entire family and numerous friends that are patients of Dr. Dino and we want to Congratulate him on finally getting his beautiful new office opened after all the struggles and years that it took to get there. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients and his profession by how invested he is in providing the best for his patients. Whoaaah! Someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed! Dr. D's the best! I think someone just doesn't feel like payin their bill, cause the nasty comments below are so far from the truth! Dr. Dino is SO funny, nice and great at what he does. I've been going to Dr. D for years since I've been a kid and every time I go I have a wonderful experience. Not to mention how wonderful he's been to my whole family--cousins included!!! The whole fam goes to Dr. Dino! The staff is great and super friendly and the place is awesome! Peter B Dr.Dino is THE BEST DENTIST i know! dont let this lady convince you other wise. Dr.Dino Dental Oasis is one of the most relaxing layed back enviornments i have ever been in and he does that for his patients because he actually cares.He never gives you treatment that is not necessary and and he NEVER charges you for something you never had done. I have been going to him since i was little and never have I had a horrible experience there.My family and friends adore Dr.Dino. He is a great guy and has a fantastic personality. I was about to write a review when I saw the one from Jan...I think she was in fantasy land not Dr. Dinos office. This office could not be more professional.It has always been more then a pleasure to see Dr. Dino as well as his staff on my many visits. Jan should have tryed the Aqua massage and got the blood flowing again to her brain as she may not have made such inflammatory statements. It has always been a pleasure to see Dr. Dino and his staff and small minded people like Jan should go some place else for dental work and not take up space for those of us who want the best possible treatment and don't mind paying for it. I went to Dr Dino for the first time with my 7 year old daughter who has a brain condition and we were both a little scared and worried. I had a bad experience in the past with my last dentist . He was wonderful, friendly, and funny. The chair was a messaging chair he had a TV you could change to what you wanted,(great distraction). My daughter loved him, felt comforable and the hygentist who cleaned her teeth was gentle. I have never had such a great experience with a dental office before. I have been to several dentists and have not found a great one until I went to Dr. Dino Nicholas. His humor relaxes you for what could seemingly could be nerve-wrecking procedures. I am lucky to have found him and his staff. Not only is he very knowledgeable and experienced, he really cares about his patients. I would never go anywhere else.
