I've been to this location a few times with my girlfriend for her tattoo removal. The staff is kinda welcoming. This location is very clean and peaceful. They have a waiting room that is peaceful, relaxing and quiet. I have been fortunate enough to sit inside the room to see how they do the laser. It's kinda cool. I had a great experience at both the Manhattan Beach location and the Santa Monica location. I had an amazing facial with Diana who was super sweet and very thorough. Had skin rejuvenation by Meredith. She was very good and very capable. Then I had laser hair removal with Heather. She was also very sweet, caring and good at her job. The girls at the front desk were amazing as well. And they offered me some incredible package deals- least expensive you could find anywhere. They really want to please. The only thing I could say that was at all negative is the place was freezing cold so it was hard to relax- in all of the back rooms. And the laser was not working correctly so I didn't get a full treatment. She had to switch out the canister so she had to stop. So far, all my treatments at Dr Laser in Santa Monica have been blissful. Currently doing hair laser removal and laser skin resurfacing with them. Was able to get an awesome deal for 50off the package price. I've never waited for my appointment. Nurse and aesthetician are always nice and super helpful with questions regarding my treatments. They made sure to use the right type of hair laser removal machine for my skin tone. Two sessions done and seems like the treatment is working. I love this place! I have had many facials here which were all some of the best I've ever had! I am currently doing mirconeedling (stretch mark removal) from my pregnancy on my stomach. COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE FRUSTRATED BEYOND BELIEF. This is one of the absolute worst businesses I've ever encountered in my life. I bought a groupon a while back for two facials so I scheduled for an appointment in the West Hollywood location. I drive all the way out there only to be told that the esthetician is out sick. That's fine, shit happens, so I reschedule for the following week and go on my merry way. They offer to comp me a free facial for the troubles, which is great. I come back the next week and I'm told they do not have me on the calendar anyway. That's weird, I say, and I reschedule once again, this time in the SM location. They once again offer me a free facial for my troubles, so I think, "this is fantastic, now I have two free facials!" Third time's the charm, so I show up and have my facial. It's a decent basic, no-frills facial but kind of stressful due to the fact that the esthetician was trying to upsell me expensive procedures I didn't really want at the beginning and end of the process. Outside, I speak with the manager, to whom I'd previously discussed an interest in laser hair removal touch ups. She quotes me a great discounted price and I tell her I'll think about it. While we're discussing she mentions I have ONE free facial in their books so we have to argue about that for a bit. Then I leave and schedule my next facial for a month out. The manager then follows up with me very very diligently to collect payment on the laser treatments. I'm a bit hesitant due to all these negative reviews but I figure, the manager will make sure everything gets squared away, so I pay with my credit card. For my FOURTH attempt at an appointment, I get my reminder a couple days prior and I notice that it's in the Manhattan Beach location. So I call them and nobody picks up. (Nobody picks up about 80% of the calls, btw). So I email and call again and they agree to provide me with an appointment later that same day BUT they can only provide 2 of the three services I'd initially signed up for. I then realize I can't make the afternoon anyway and at this point I'm pissed. At every juncture with my interactions with this company, I've had to take time out of MY schedule to reschedule and reprioritize my life in order to accommodate their inability to maintain a fucking calendar. IT'S NOT THAT HARD. MAINTAIN YOUR CALENDAR AND STOP MAKING ME WASTE MY TIME. Not only that, but they insist that my account only reflects ONE FREE FACIAL WHEN I WAS PROMISED TWO FOR THE FACT THAT I KEPT DRIVING TO THEIR LOCATIONS AND NOT GETTING ANY TREATMENT AT ALL BECAUSE OF THEIR INABILITY TO MAINTAIN A CALENDAR. So I reach out to the manager asking wth is going on. Turns out she no longer works there so I send the company an email through the "contact us" page on their website. I formally request a refund on the laser sessions that I never got to use since I cannot keep changing my schedule around to accommodate their ineptitude. I get a response saying they'll comp me yet more bullshit. THAT WOULD BE GREAT, BUT FOR THE FACT THAT I'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO RESCHEDULE FIVE FUCKING TIMES TO GET THE SUPPOSEDLY PROMISED FREE TREATMENTS. Not to even mention the fact that I'll probably have to fight them the entire time just to get the treatment credit at all. On top of all of that, she notes that they do not DO REFUNDS. OF COURSE. WHY WOULD YOU DO REFUNDS AFTER SO DOGGEDLY PURSUING PREPAYMENT. The rationale given to me for requiring prepayment was that "they set aside time and need to charge me in case I do a no-show." Oh, ok. Glad to know that you value YOUR time but don't value mine at all. THANKS. All in all, save your money and don't come here. I'm thoroughly disgusted with this business and I've honestly never seen one so poorly run in my entire life. I'm taking this up with my credit card company and if that doesn't work I'm going to seek legal recourse. This place is either run by people who don't know how to use a computer OR the only other explanation is that they get hacked on the daily by a hacker who derives pleasure from messing with appointments. She's truly a rockstar and amazing at what she does. From each appt, she'll remember how my skin is progressing. My skin has never felt better - truly. I won't let someone else do my facials (or even touch my skin!) ever again. She's popular so you'll have to schedule in advance, but it's so worth it. Woof, reading the previous reviews I'm left wondering if I went to the same business! I've had nothing but a great experience at dr LASER in Santa Monica since I started coming here for tattoo removal on my wrist. You know how it is, you get a tattoo you think you'll love for decades to come, and then come to realize one day (and one divorce later) that this thing is awful and you want it gone. So I looked at places that were close to my work and chose dr LASER not only because they were reasonably close to my work, but there was free 1/hr parking in the back of the building in a lot, and if you go around the block, free parking on the street. A small little hike if you get stuck at the latter, but I'm sure we could all use a nice walk. We all know parking sucks in LA. Booking was incredibly easy, my call was answered the first time I called and I was booked in for the following week. They actually were able to take me that day but I couldn't accommodate it with my work schedule. When I went in I was greeted by the receptionist and asked to check in on an ipad in the waiting room which I thought was bomb - I'm used to offices where everything is paper, and my penmanship is that of a dyslexic 12 year old boy so the ipad was welcome. The waiting room was nice, very spa-like, white and creams, and free bottle of water. Yazmin came out, helped me with numbing since tattoo removal is soooo uncomfortable, and then I waited for it to kick in (keep in mind they told me to arrive 30 mins early for numbing, so of course I did, and thus I knew I had a wait as a result of wanting my pain to be lessened). When I was ready to go they brought me in and Yazmin explained the process and what they would be doing given my skin type. She made me feel incredibly comfortable and even made me feel better about getting the tattoo removed when I told her the story behind it (divorce included, ha). Super friendly and kind. Also told me I could ask for a break at any time, but I didn't have to because she seemed to have a 6th sense of when I needed a break and just before I hit a moment of needing a break she would pause and talk me through it, letting me know how much was left and how good a job I was doing. Now I'm a grown assed adult but being reassured I wasn't a complete baby was really nice and really helped my moral through the whole 20 seconds or so of removal. I know some people would just laser away and expect you to handle it. Yazmin is empathetic enough to know we're all human and have different pain tolerances. It really was great. So when I went back for my second treatment (it can take a ton of treatments to remove a tattoo, and when I say ton it can be around 8-10, some people can do it in 3-5, I'm fairly certain due to my olive skin and the location on the inside of my wrist it'll be more towards the range of 8) I wasn't anxious at all as I was the first time because I knew I'd be in the good and caring hands of Yazmin. This session was a little longer, with a higher frequency laser, and just like the first time Yazmin made it all very tolerable and easy to go through. I finished the session with a smile on my face (a little pained, but c'mon, laser on your damn skin!) and felt as cared for and taken care of as I did the first time. I will definitely continue coming here in the future, even after my tattoo removal is complete. read more

Then when I told who got my call that I need just 50 units she said it's $14.00 a unit I ! Thank you but no . The average for a Botox unit it goes from $10 to &12.00. YOKO is amazing at what she does, her English is not perfect but it's easy to understand what she's saying. She's very kind and relaxing during laser procedures. BETTY, perfect customer service! I've had to deal with the other ladies that work here.. The petite blonde I try to avoid, don't know her name but she's always very unconcerned about customers. If you ever have questions, concerns or anything else ask Betty! She offers you water, always greets, asks if you need anything, and likes to make sure you're happy with the procedure process after every visit. There's valet parking in the back that's free for an hour, the waiting area is very clean and extremely soothing. The white couches are comfortable as well. Oh! After spending $500.00 for fillers in which I had NO results I went back to talk to Joe (who I assume is the office manager). Rather than go into detail about our conversation in which he admitted I had very minimal results and there was nothing he could to about it, I will share the letter that I wrote to him: Hi Joe, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me yesterday. I have thought about what you said and one thing that stands out is that you said "I knew I would see you back here". My question is this: If you knew I was going to be unhappy wouldn't it have been more ethical to say to me...the results are not going to be noticeable with one syringe. Why don't you think about it and see if you can come up with more money and come back when you can do more syringes. I am on a budget and feel like I just threw away $500.00. I feel like all you cared about was getting my money and didn't take into consideration that I would have very little results. I know you will say that you can never know what the results will be but you failed to say that with one syringe you will basically not see any results. And if you knew that was the case why did you take my money and let me go through with it when you knew I was on a tight budget? Yesterday you admitted that one syringe would not have noticeable results. Why would you not have stressed that in the initial interview. Seems you were very anxious to get my money. I just had a facial at dr. Laser, Santa Monica. I had had a fabulous facial there in April but this was a horrible experience. The facialist wore latex gloves telling me she had contact dermatitis and this was for my protection! It made the experience quite uncomfortable throughout . When I got home my husband asked me 'what happened to your nose?' I looked in the mirror and discovered skin had been abraded from my nose! I called the salon immediately and the phone was answered by the West Hollywood location- they told me someone would call me right back and no one ever did.
