As a regular customer receiving the same service, I found that explanation frustrating. If I had supposedly been charged incorrectly for months, I would expect that to be communicated to me before performing the service and adding a new charge at checkout. It's not about $7. It's about transparency and consistency. Customers should know what they are going to be charged before a service is performed, particularly when they are regular clients receiving the same service they've received many times before.
