Other plastic surgery clinics do not use Bellafill filler. They said the side effects would occur in two to three years. Dr. Midas doesn't even have a skin test, and it's very dangerous. You have to check if it fits your skin before you put it in. But Dr. Midas doesn't. If I can give this place a zero star I would. My mom went to this place for some fillers, the lady suggested my mom do at least 5 bellafills, and my mom not knowing any better, did what was suggested, spending more than $3000. After a week having the fillers, the whole face were bruised and, one side completely swollen up and the other side went back to normal. Due to the visible bruise, she didn't go to work for the whole week. She went back today, and the lady told her that she signed the contract knowing it will be bruised. I would recommend anyone that considers in going into this place, to rethink again. Would it be worth spending more than $3000, so you can get some bruises on the face? read more

I bought a hair removal 6 sitting package for a medium area and I decided to try the arm pits. Each sitting was 3 weeks apart. I was happy with the follow up and each sitting till I finished. after the 6th sitting, I saw hair growing back in just 4 weeks!!!!! No wonder they kept a 3 week gap between each seseion and not 4 weeks. It has been only 1 month and my hair are like I never went through any treatment. I had a really good experience here. I purchased a Living Social coupon for IPL Photofacial. The greeting person was very knowledgeable and helpful and the RN that did the work was very thorough in that she used her eagle eye to spot every brown spot on my face. My face was numbed with ice pack so I couldn't feel anything, and although I was told I would feel a slight stinging, I was relieved that I didn't feel a thing! They offered me an additional facial before the IPL for an extra $30, and I took the offer since that's really reasonable as as far as facials were concerned. I wasn't disappointed by this decison. My face felt so clean and was glowing, more so than just getting a normal facial. Also they give you a 15 min face pack after the IPL for no additional charge. Don't be surprised if they suggest that you get future IPL treatments, but they don't pressure you. They just tell you to get it here or elsewhere, but the treatment works best if done a minimum of 3-5 times depending your on your skin, every 3-4 weeks. I just made my second appointment and I'm really looking forward to it. read more

From the mmm moment I stepped in the women who work here are so sweet and informative. I got a package deal that was advertised on the radio. Sharon was my nurse. She was so sweet and helpful with my procedure. I got laser treatment and all my skintags removed. I also got my moles removed as well. Sharon also kept asking me if I was ok and she was just the sweetest. She's very light with her injections as well. I recommend you ask for her! You won't regret it! So far I'm loving the results. The nurse, who is doing all the procedure and consultation is super pushy and rude. After thousands spent here, I saw no results with my injections. The whole clinic is operated by these three ladies who had problem communicating in English and there were no doctors at this location whatsoever. If you want a legit doctor and good results, I would not recommend this place. I learned my lesson spending money I shouldn't have and cost my face to be uneven and lopsided. The girl managed to claim this result was due to my own face. If you only want simple Botox procedure, this place will do but do not expect good results on any other procedures. I haven't received any service as of now but this review is in particular for their amazing customer service. I was calling different offices due to a condition which requires a specific treatment and when I spoke with Ginger, the office manager, she was professional, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy with any of the services. She was the one that informed me what the treatment would feel like and even included the side effects that it could bring, which many other facilities did not answer. I was really uncertain reading all of the reviews regarding the customer service but I would definitely ask for Ginger if you ever feel uncomfortable. I'm still doing some research before I dive in but I believe I will be coming here for my treatment and will update the review once I do. read more

Unfortunately I didn't get the service for which I came in to get a consultation. I saw a deal on Groupon for up to 72% off an area of laser hair removal (~$99 for 6 sessions of a small area). I also saw from their website they used the Cutera Coolglide Laser which is good for all skin colors (light and dark). Dr. Midas has has several locations throughout the Los Angeles area, unfortunately they do not have the Coolglide at the Rowland Heights location and only have the laser that treats lighter skinned people, which I feel should have been stated in their advertisement on Groupon or at least on their website. The ladies that worked there were very nice and maybe in the future if I need any other services (botox, weight loss, or other skin care) I may return. read more

I purchased a Groupon special for laser hair removal. Not only does this place apply numbing cream for you but they also place an ice pack on the selected area as an extra numbing technique!! I thought that was going far and beyond attempts for great customer service. Hey this place received an award :) The staff is friendly and very nice. The office is small and located in a crowded shopping center. I did not like how they were pressuring me to pay for extra services. Especially how they tried to sell me more of the same type of treatment wanting to charge me 2Xs more when they knew thay had another special coming out the very next day in LivingSocial, not cool. read more

I went to Buena Park office. The manager was very unprofessional and dishonest. I prepaid for the whole treatment but, they tried to charge more and more trying to rip me off. I was so upset. My face treatment still not done. RN said one thing and later the manager said different thing trying to rip me off. I cannot trust these people. They only care about money, not client. Don't go here. They don't know what their are doing. One nurse dose all the treatments I do not even sure she has license. The manage is good at sales but bad at handle of complains or issues with attitue. I had Laser treatment for few dark spots with high price and after month later I am getting more dark spots in the different areas on my face. They do not even explained before the treatment and tried blamed me instead. I checked with another dermatologist and he said I am having a PIH(postinflammatoryhyperpigermentation). Please consider again if you think having a laser in this place. You are just wasting money with more headache. read more

I purchase a groupon and I select the diet program with lipoderm. I was pressured into paying another $2,000 on a treatment (lipo dissolve) I was not comfortable of doing. I told them I want to try the diet and lipoderm. They gave this packs of power and bottle of pills and send me on my way with no instructions.
