If I could give zero stars, I would. Falsely advertised their services and tried to charge me more money when I arrived for my appointment. When I purchased the service, I was told the business was in Chino Hills, which is closer to where I live. When I made my appointment, I was told it was in Rowland Heights!! This was an hour drive for me. Something told me not to go, but I really wanted to get the service. When I arrived, they refused to perform the service at the price I had already prepaid. I visited MS Lady Health Spa for a skin tag removal on my face. At that time, I was offered a package deal for $500 for a full face treatment, which I agreed to. When I arrived for treatment I was unexpectedly told that the treatment would cost an additional $500, for a total of $1,000. I explained that I had only agreed to $500, but under pressure I paid the extra $500 so the treatment could proceed. The treatment itself was very painful. Afterward, I noticed five burn marks on my face. When I asked about them, I was told they would heal in a few days. However, it has now been few months, and the burn marks have not gone away. I visited my dermatologist & was told these are third degree burns & are going to require a surgery I do not believe MS Lady Health Spa performed this treatment properly, and I feel that I was misled regarding both the pricing and the quality of care. Found this place through groupon and was falsely advertised. I came in for 2 mole removals that I purchased on groupon. She said she couldn't remove the moles that I wanted and tried to charge me $100 for a singular mole because it was, "big" the moles that I wanted removed weren't even huge... they were just dark as moles typically are. She told me she refused to do black/dark moles with my groupon and only said she could do the light ones... which were basically small freckles. Doesn't make any sense because they should've advertised the service as freckle removal... lol. Should've read the other reviews on here before even wasting my time on coming here. Don't come here if you don't want to get scammed. read more

I got an eye infection from here. I regret everything and revoke my prior review. They were really rough on my face and stuff got in my eye. It felt like a grain of sand was in my eye for several days, with redness and maddening irritation. Had to go spend a ton more money at an optometrist. Spent more money on a prescription for medicated drops. It's been a few weeks now and I am STILL not completely healed. Complained to them and they offered to be more gentle next time, but they have lost my trust. I am not coming back here and I am no longer recommending this place to anyone. read more

Terrible & extremely unethical. I called, and I was told that a body wrap would reduce cellulite. When I arrived for the consultation, the "consultant" kept scribbling numbers on paper and provided me with unclear answers. It was terrible. She kept saying she couldn't guarantee anything. Why would I move forward with little knowledge & no REAL answers? Also, she made remarks about pricing as if she'd already decided I couldn't pay for what would actually deliver results. Bait and switch situations!!!! Very disappointed!! I purchased a 60 minute massage with a 30 minute body wrap on Groupon last week on a Friday. I called on Monday made the appointment for the following Friday. Groupon Users Beware! I purchased the 1 hour aromatherapy + 30 minute wrap and called to schedule an appointment for May 22. Upon arriving for my massages, the reception told me I did not have an appointment with them and that I must have called their Temple City or Irvine branch and to check with them. I checked my call logs and had them confirm their phone number and I did NOT call the wrong location. They apologized and told me they will reschedule me and only have availability for 2 people starting July. I rescheduled my next appointment for July 3 and this time they told me they usually will call a day before to confirm the appointment. On July 1st (Friday), I received a voicemail stating they will need me to call back and reschedule due to issues. I called and the receptionist told me their masseuse will be leaving early on Sunday, so they can no longer accommodate for our massages then and that if we arrived right now, they can do one massage and one facial. I told them we both wanted massages and to just reschedule for another time and they told us they can not do any other day as Sunday is the only day there is more than one masseuse working and they are booked for the rest of the month. My groupon expires at the end of this month so I had to get it refunded... Will not come back here again after this experience. Should have read the reviews before purchasing my groupons as others have had similar bad experiences as well not only from this branch, but their other locations as well. read more

I tried this place out because I saw them on Groupon where they had a good deal for a one time facial. After ending the facial, they led me to the front desk where the lady insisted I do a facial package saying that they're giving me a good deal for "today only". That's like they're favorite line in which they try to make it seem like they're hooking it up for a special price, when in reality, it's original pricing or even higher. I made the mistake of agreeing to the package because I literally saw no difference in my skin. If anything, my skin has gotten worse since I started going there. The facials felt good and were relaxing thanks to Candy and Ling, but the people in the front are way too pushy & don't understand the word "no". I've said multiple times I'm not in the financial being to be dropping $3,000 in facials and skincare in a span of 5 months. They pressured me to add on a dermapen facial package on top of the hydra facial package I already paid for since I suffer with hyperpigmentation. Out of desperation for my skin, I agreed, but I regret it. After my first dermapen facial, they were explaining to me how to use the products. Here I am thinking that this was all included in the package because after all, I paid $1,100 for 4 facials. Turns out they were selling me the products, obligating me to buy it, telling me that my face will only get better if I use these and that I can't use any other products at home. So I dropped $660 on skincare. When I opened the box, I came to realize it was only a weeks worth supply..... I texted them before my last appointment not to try to pressure me to buy more anymore and they apologized through text, but still did the same thing again in person. It's sad because you know this place just wants you for your money, and they're hella expensive too. Save your time and money, and go somewhere else. I don't feel respected here, just used. I still have facials left that I already paid for. I live in Rowland and am willing to go to the other location to finish them because I don't want to step in there ever again. read more

Yelp removed my review probably at the request of the business because I had explained how I have been a loyal paying customer and this business stopped doing my facial because they were unhappy with my Covid status and failed to screen me (negative tested DAILY as I work at a covid site and fully vaccinated). Now if this isn't representative of the business's services I will tell you what is. This business upsells you, undercuts the facial time of 90 minutes to 60 when you've paid for 90 minutes, downgrades your facial when you purchased the hydrafacial, and reneges on appointment times. The only redeeming quality is the services, WHEN performed as advertised, are excellent due to the estheticians' skills. Please follow ethical business practices. read more

I bought a Parafango Body Slimming Wrap off Lifebooker. They weighed me in before and after the treatment. I lost 2.2lbs (of water weight) and 2 lbs of fat (so the machine said). The scale also measured my weight (which as accurate), BMI, % body fat, fat weight and metabolism. I'm not really sure how it calculated all of this by me just standing on the scale, and I'm skeptical about the % body fat since I've measured this quite a few times in the past few weeks, with a wide range of results. But anyway, I digress. The treatment itself was nice. Ivy was my technician. She explained most of what she did. First she scrubbed down my tummy and legs, then applied some liquid to the same areas before she wrapped me in a heating blanket. Time to lay and sweat it out for 30 minutes before she unwrapped me, and I was 2.2 lbs lighter than when I started. After my treatment, they tried to sell me on a package of more treatments that was way over my budget. I ended up buying a package of facials. The other slimming treatments she tried to sell me on sounded interesting. And they showed me some girl who was getting the treatment done and how it worked. Sure, if I had the extra money and didn't want to actually enjoy working out I'd give it a try. I'll let you know how the facials are once I get them done. read more

Very bad store! Once your credit card is charged, no refund to you at all if you want to cancel their surgical service. They are not professional. They don't explain to the customer for your rights. No contract was given to you. No doctor consultation prior charging on your credit card. All they want is charging your credit card without any documentation. I want to cancel the surgical service that is in September, the lady told me the store can't refund me $6000 for the surgical service. My card was charged on 5/10/22, I want to cancel on 5/13/22. Came across this place because I purchased a Groupon for Zerona. Every time I come in, they try to upsell me to some other, more expensive package. Even after I tell them that I'm not in the financial position to do that, they try to push a payment plan on you and hang some 'special deal' over your head to try to get you to add to your treatments. They are not very knowledgeable about the treatments, one of the ladies in the front tried to tell me that CoolSculpting and Liposonix and all treatments done in their office are 'pain-free'. Well obviously she doesn't know about the product she is trying to sell because clinics regularly give patients Valium and pain medication before Liposonix/CoolSculpting due to the pain! I had to explain this to her and she still looked confused. Basically, avoid this place unless you enjoy high pressure sales tactics. I also did not appreciate that they always try to get you to tip your technician. For a facial, I understand a tip, but I feel that slimming treatments done by their 'technicians' in a clinical setting are not a service to be tipped on. They just want to squeeze every penny out of you. I will NOT be coming back here and I recommend everyone to be wary of MS Slim! They do have more than 1 location, and I believe that a lot of the 'good' reviews on here are fake! read more
