Have dollar bills ready, maybe deal some cards if you keep it on the level, rack 'em in the billiard area next room over, and peep the ship room itself in the back. (It was empty and dark when I visited, but I walked around anyway - felt like I wasn't alone, so bonus points for that creepy Amityville Horror feel.) I don't claim to know legit, hardcore Worcester, but this seemed like a small slice of it at the base of Green Street. See pics for ambience and decide accordingly if this is your cup of 'Gansett. We were so thrilled to find Pools and Cues, and would give them 10 Stars if we could! We had a lot of questions when we went in and they went above and beyond explaining things, gave us printed information, and wrote things down for us. They always fit our seasonal pool openings and closings into their busy schedule with a smile. They're easy to communicate with and they make it easy and effortless to pay them, which is a big deal if you're busy and want less complications in your life. We wish all local businesses could operate this smoothly. If you're looking for pool service, this is the place. They are exceptional.

I had them come on 2 occasions last summer to help with a service need, both times was changed 90.00 and the problem wasn't fixed. In October I paid them to close my pool and heater. During this process they damaged a part of the heater. When I went to have them open the pool this spring I found the pool damaged due to the pool not being closed properly. I have asked them to take responsibility and they refused. I didn't keep a copy of the bill to close the pool, however I have 6 adults who were here to witness them coming. I would not trust them to do anything with my pool in the future.

I'd like to provide more detail, but their website menu page isn't working, and it's difficult to find a menu for them. Prices may not be up to date. We thought the roll was very tasty, albeit somewhat heavy. My beer was excellent, and the wine was cold and refreshing according to my co-diner. The waitress was excellent. It wasn't busy yet, but it was getting busier. They have games here (putting, corn hole, etc.) and on busy nights open up a pavilion area with a giant tv screen. We had a pleasant respite from the heat and look forward to returning to what they say is the largest patio area in Worcester. 3.5 stars rounded up to four for the venue and service on this visit.
