Someone came out to look at the equipment and said it was loud but fine (it died two days later) and over chlorinated the pool. Calls to their service department to get a new motor and get it repaired have been unanswered since last week. Finally called a different company recommended by a neighbor and was called back in 15 minutes and someone is coming to check things out later today. Horrible business, will not recommend to anyone.

We've been using the Gomes brothers for over 12 yrs for opening/closing and pool maintenance it was a no brainer to go with them to update out existing pool and patio. We went over everything we wanted they put a proposal together with us and told them what our budget was. We signed the contract and construction started they where on time professional and honest any questions or concerns they where right there going through the process with us and there workers where awesome. They are really honest & reliable, 3. They have a very broad base of knowledge in this area, and, on *my* request, have provided me with options for repairs ranging from perfect to acceptable, (depending on how much I was willing to spend.) I actually look forward to having these guys come over to service or repair my pool... This has NOT been the my experience with other pool technicians, in what I have found to be an unusually shady industry. 5 stars (unusual from me) is an easy call in this instance !

New England Spas and Hot Tubs…read more NE Spas had an incredibly knowledgeable service department that went over and above to support a buyer who didn't acquire the highest end tub AND lives on a island! This issue arose because I chose to plug in my tub (how hard could it be) because hiring an electrician to come to an island by boat is difficult. Turns out, an electrician would have known to clamp the main power cord. Pulling on it over time ended up shorting out the circuit board. That's when the fun began. NESpas made sure to order the right replacement board, put me on a group chat and walked me through the installation. I clamped the power cord and it's operated flawlessly ever since. Don't go anywhere else!

But anything that goes into making a patio spectacular becomes their "thing". We weren't in the market for a "patio" - quite yet. What we were in the market for was a plunge pool. Until we visited a home show, and we priced out pools - and just when we were about to "bite the bullet", a well known company in the North Shore, that ONLY does spas and spa pools, gave us a really good breakdown on how a spa pool would fit our needs/lifestyle at a fraction of the cost of a pool. We embarked on doing research. LOTS of research (we currently own a non heated pool, and the maintenance hasn't been a big deal, so we KNEW what we would get ourselves in to... but $150K pricetag?! um, uh...). Wound up at NES (and you've read my review/experience on that, and subsequently the manager boohooing thinking we were "indoctrinated" by them only to ditch them... nope, they were overpriced and only decided to make a deal when they realized they lost the sale... but I digress). SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off we go to Ferrari, and got a really, really wonderful cost/benefit analysis on pools (did I mention they do pools?!) and our life style. Actually, they sell few spa's, because patios are #1 and pools #2. Mark and the ENTIRE crew are PHENOMENAL. Ordering, pricing, installation, post installation training and service. PHENOMENAL! The installer tea are a hilarious group of hard working and upbeat professionals. Made everything look so easy. Mike Hunter did the follow up and guided us through all the features. A couple of hours later, we were in getting hydrotherapied and celebrating life! We did our homework - extensive. They offer value, a VERY competitive price withouth any hassle and amazing service! During both experiences, the swrvice person was a little condescending and not proactive about telling me what they needed me to do before they came. They called to tell me the filter was cleaned and my jets were producing ripples which was great. I also asked 2 quick questions before we hung up and because he didn't know the answer because he didn't service the filter he had to hang up so he could get a hold of his guy. When I got home it didn't look like the filter was hosed down and there was no force coming out of the Jets. When I called him to tell him this he had an attitude about me not having powder readily available at my house (they should have ur with them) and that I asked too many questions and they could not have their guy turn around and come back to their house to check something or else they have to pay him another $50. When I asked additional questions, he said... We've already been through this to her three times already. So because of the condescending attitude towards me and the fact that I don't think they cleaned my filter but yet took my money they will not get business from me going forward.
