We have been going to Dr. Shawky Soliman for many years. He is very professional and takes his time before making a plan to address your problem. I had pain in my teeth and I didn't know where it was coming from so I went to another dentist who recommended that I do 3 root canals and gum treatment and had a plan to charge me over $8,000.00 for root annals and crowns. Dr Soliman told me to that my teeth and my gums are sensitive and that I needed a special toothpaste and tooth brush and try it for a while before I go the other route. Believe it or not, that solved my problem and I saved me so much money and pain that I didn't need to endure. Thank you Dr Soliman. read more

Terrible. While the staff were nice , the experience was not. The tools were clean but the office is run down. The chairs are dingy and the wallpaper was very dusty looking. Dr. Soliman is very old fashioned and does not believe in the use of electric tooth brushes. He claimed that I needed a deep cleaning every 6 months. He lied to me and told me I needed to have a filling. He pushed the dental hook into the crevice of my molar, shook the tool so hard he managed to move my head, and claimed I needed a filling. After getting a second opinion from another dentist, I discovered that I did not have a cavity. The second dentist confirmed that I did not need a deep cleaning at all. I refuse to return to Soliman Dental. Upon closer look at my insurance coverage, I realized why Dr. Soliman claimed I needed deep cleanings and fillings. He claimed all of this in order to be able to claim more money from my insurance. My fillings were not covered by insurance, therefore it would be more money in his pocket. I will never recommend anyone to Soliman Dental. Ever. read more

Do NOT visit this dentist unless you want your money stolen by inflated co-pay and your teeth neglected. On a first-time visit, I was told I had two cavities, so I expected to get two fillings and my teeth cleaned. Not so. In fact, Dr. Soliman waited in the wings while a technician prepared to simply "polish" my teeth. I told her I wanted them cleaned, and only this prompted the doctor to finally come in. He told me I needed a "deep cleaning" and two fillings; no argument from me. However, he then said I would have to schedule a follow-up appointment to get ONE FILLING, then a second appointment for the OTHER FILLING, and still an additional appointment for the deep cleaning. I was stunned. I asked him why he could not take care of everything that day, and he said he had other patients. Additionally, he "only wanted to numb one side of my face at a time." I got up from the chair and told the receptionist that the doctor was a criminal. She then informed me that I owed a SIXTY DOLLAR ($60) CO-PAY! This prompted me to film a short cell phone video of the crooked establishment. The staff asked me to stop filming, and did not collect the co-pay. I submitted a compaint to my insurance carrier, advising they investigate Dr. Shawky Soliman for insurance fraud. I changed dentists, and was told that the standard co-pay for my DMO plan is only $5. Even with Dr. Soliman's decades-long career, I warn you NOT to trust him as your dentist. read more
