I'm very disappointed I got recommended to this dr sounds as being one of the top sound shops around town. I was looking inside of the store the gentleman that was helping me just walked back to the shop as he walked back he was let me know when you decided. I should have walked out that moment. Now I didn't spend 100 or 300 dollars I spent 1250$ for a a sound system that didn't sound much different than the oem system. Before selling my car I took it a shop to have the sub and amp removed. I got a comment from the guys that were uninstalling the system stating hey man you got ripped off they used the least expensive speaker wire the amp end epicenter weren't connected correctly. Now had I spent 200$ cool no problem but for 1250$ it's very unprofessional. I'm also contacting the BBB. read more

The shop was well stocked, clean and being swept by the manager's wife who also works here -this is a family business and I got good vibes immediately. After a few questions and quick look at my system, the owner decided my old system needed to be rewired. He suggested to have the technician rewire it for a reasonable price. I call to get a quote to replace an existing stero that broke and they quoted me 150.00 in labor . That's a joke .

Dr. Soundz owner/installer presented himself as being incompetent, unreliable and untrustworthy. Here are the reasons why: 1. I called Dr. Soundz for estimate of Back Up Camera installation. He offered $150 for this jobs. I made an appointment. 2. Upon arrival, he increased the fee for service to $200. 3. After almost 4 hours, he finally said installation was completed. 4. It was NOT completed! I found out that Back Up camera doesn't show the GRID LINES. The main purpose of back up camera installation is having GRID LINES for parking at tight parking spaces. 5. I went back and told him the issues, but he displayed no intention to making it right for missing back up GRID LINE. 6. I just assumed that he is not competent, so I contacted PRODUCT MANUFACTURER. They kindly sent me the detailed instructions how to check, and how to making corrections step by step. 7. I sent this particular instructions to the DR. SOUNDZ owner/installer, immediately. NO RESPONSE! 8. I have been waiting his response for over 7 days. NO RESPONSE at all! PS: I got IMMEDIATE text message from him BEFORE paying for installation. AFTER he receiving the payment for installation, he chose to ignore it, despite of the fact that he acknowledges the his installation issue which I have voiced for 2 times. read more

Stopped by this place after a friend from work recommended them. They did not disappoint!! As soon as I walked in I was able to tell them my wishlist of items from the stereo I wanted. They were able to help me find the perfect radio and they didn't upsell me. They told me how much it would be and after I agreed they started working on my car right away. They told me it would take about 2 hours to complete. I waited inside and relaxed and within 1 hour and half they were done. They didn't cut into my dash or trunk for installation. It's very professional and reasonable prices. The guy even explained to me how to work the stereo and let me know I could call anytime if I had any questions or problems. Very helpful!!! The manager Robert is super cool and very informative and gave a me a very fair price for the installation. The technician Enrique did a great job hooking everything up and it looks professional. Man where do I begin. First off, the crew there is hella polite, they have a ton of insight and knowledge when it comes to vehicle aftermarket products such as audio, headlights, interior lights, you name it and I'm sure they could get it done. I was driving down waterman yesterday and I happened to see Dr.Soundz I've been looking for a new stereo for my car, because mine didn't have an AUX chord, let alone Bluetooth, I walked in and they asked me what I was looking for, I ended up getting a good, simple system that they only charged me $110 for, including the installation!
