His first visit, he admitted not knowing how to install the ceiling medallion, so we rescheduled so he could do some additional research. Better for him to admit it than to do it wrong. I was getting quotes for adding 2 new breakers and 2 electrical outlets for our garage projects. Robert came to give a bid and found a dangerous electrical setup in our fuse box. We also found out we didn't have enough space in the existing box to add any more breakers, so we had Robert completely replace the fuse box with a larger one and we got our two extra outlets added with room for more when needed. I contacted Robert yesterday in regards to a dimming issue in my home when a single appliance is being run. Out the 5 electricians I have contacted, Robert was the only one who advised me to check in with PG&E first before getting any work done. I called this company and the owner/tech had me take pictures of the work I requested and based on the pictures he gave me a quote. I was expecting him to come to my home so there wouldnt be surprises later but instead he gave me an outrageous quote just to add a couple ac outlets and wiring behind the wall for my flatscreen tvs and add another ac plug in the garage for my air compressor! 1,200 dollars! I was like WoW! What a waste of time. Either he quoted me that much because he didnt want to come to east county or his service is just that expensive that he loves to rip customers off. I went with another electrician who charged me 150 bucks for installing each of the ac outlets which included HDMI and sound cables on a separate wall plate! This tech from another company told me I would have to call a drywall expert to patch up the small holes he made to fish the wires through behind the wall to make it look clean. I was stoked because the drywall guy patched textured and painted the holes for 300. You do the math! Dont waste your time with this company unless you got plenty of money to throw away!! read more

After all if these raving 5* reviews, my husband decided to call Dr Wattz electric to have him come out and give us a bid to fix the wiring on our hot tub and air conditioner. It had previously been wired incorrectly and was causing a fire hazard. So you know how important this was to us and our family. After coming out and giving my husband an estimate, which even though it was not cheap, we decided to proceed with the work and hired him to do it for us. We were under a time crunch and let Robert know as much. He understood and promised to do the work for us on the date scheduled, even though he said the parts would be hard to come by. On the date and time that he was supposed to be at our house, Robert called my husband and told him he was having a hard time finding our parts. He then called back about 45 minutes later and told him that he was ill and would not be able to come out to do the work for us. He told my husband that if we wanted him to come out on Sunday, he would do so. My husband called him back and said Sunday would be fine. We never heard back from Robert. This is a completely unprofessional way to run your business. We're in the midst of a small remodel inside our home and would have hired him to do the lighting for us, had this worked out. Easy five stars! I contacted three different companies (as usual) when we needed to get some electrical work done. Robert is the ONLY ONE who was able to give me a quote on the spot!! After meeting, one company emailed me a quote 48 hours later with a price that was double Roberts for the same amount of work, and the other company didn't even bother to call me back for a whole week just to give a quote (I never answered).
