The Electric Panel upgrade to 200 Amp. at my Sunnyvale home was started on 8th May2023. Jordan and Sam from Delta Dawn Electric came early before PG&E came to shut off power. PG&E came at 9:30 A.M. and shut off the power. The old Square D XO panel was 100 Amp. Got replaced with Siemens MC2442B1200EFV. Jordan and Sam were very professional and courteous. They worked very hard to complete the installation by the end of the day. By 4:00 P.M. They were done. They had to go under the crawl space to run a grounding wire from the panel at the back of the house to the water supply line at the front. They also checked the attic for proper wiring. Only thing they missed was to schedule the city inspector to come at the end of the day. He was scheduled for 10th. On Wednesday10th PG&E came at 9:30 to make a permanent connection to their feeder line. Power to home was off only for half an hour. Then Ryan came to meet the city inspector of Sunnyvale. Because the inspectors give a wide range of time slot, Ryan had to wait a long time. Ryan came at 12 but the inspector showed up only at 3. Ryan stayed in his pickup and carried out his office work while waiting for the inspector. The inspector passed the initial work but wanted a Surge Arrest to be installed. The Gas Water Heater also needed to be bonded. These are as per the city code. So the next inspection was on 23rd almost 2 weeks after. It so happened that Ryan planed to complete the work before the inspector came on the same day. This was to save an extra trip of coming from Concord. On 23rd the inspector came at 9:15 A.M. He went to the back of the house hoping the Surge Arrest will be there. He also checked the Gas Water Heater. He was upset that nobody from Delta Dawn Electric had shown up. He failed the inspection and left. It is always 2 weeks to get next inspection in Sunnyvale. So now it will be June 6th. Then at 9:30 A.M. Jordan showed up after the inspector left and worked upto 11:00 A.M. Installing the Surge Arrest and bonding the Gas Water Heater. He was very professional and courteous. Considering the quality of all the work done, we excuse them for their scheduling mistakes. It is always important to have the work done to our satisfaction. See the photo attached. They also patched the panel with the stucco nicely. I am sure they will finish their work way ahead of any inspection in the future. That is the reason I am giving ***** in the review. I highly recommend them. I am sure that they will not miss the next inspection and add 2 more weeks of delay for the whole project. read more

Our gas range stopped working and we didn't want to repair it again. So we decided to go electric. I forgot to check the voltage requirements when I bought the new range though. Our home was built in the 60's and we have been wanting to update our lighting situation for some time. We have no ceiling lights in any of our rooms. Each bedroom had a wall switch that controlled a wall outlet. If we wanted to use the switch we had to plug our light into that specific outlet. After having 4 different companies provide quotes we chose Delta Dawn. They added recessed lighting on dimmers into each room along with ceiling fan/light combos. The finish work on everything turned out great and they cleaned up after themselves after each day. Now my outlets work like normal outlets and my switches turn on my lights. I'm so happy with everything that I just scheduled some time with them to come back and add some outdoor plugs to make hanging Christmas lights possible without an extension cord ran underneath the garage door. Called Delta Dawn and the owner picked up on the first ring. We had the circuit for one room go out while I was running a space heater and the vacuum at the same time. I checked the breakers and nothing was thrown. He arranged an appointment a few days later. Two techs arrived on time. Within a few minutes they diagnosed a breaker that was improperly installed and wired. Corrected the issue quickly. The techs were younger, efficient and knowledgeable. In a nutshell, Delta Dawn electric was responsive, was prompt on time every time, delivered quality work and made sure we were entirely satisfied with the project. I am the owner of Lehmann Stables. We had a problem with a breaker for one of our AC units in one of the house sub panels. The first thing that I liked is that Ryan picked up the phone promptly, on a Friday evening (when nobody else did ...). He came out within reasonable time and fixed the immediate problem. We established that since both house sub panels were end of life and there were already signs of sparking, it would be a good moment to replace. Ryan did a quote on the spot and confirmed in writing the same day. We had his team come out the next week and they replaced both panels in less than a day, while making sure our well pump kept running to provide our 22 horses with water. They labeled all the breakers and found groups we did not know we had. Ryan came out to walk through the work and took action to correct some dry wall cosmetics.
