Brought my dog here for a dental cleaning and a possible extraction. Since she would be under anesthesia, I asked for her nails to be trimmed so it would be easier on our dog. Groomers and myself have a hard time trimming them, because shes had a bad experience and ever since it's been tough. They told us to come 09/01 to bring her in for her cleaning. We bring her and front desk told us she'll possibly be done by 3pm. We get a call that there were other pets that had emergencies. We completely understand, but now she'd be done or out by 6-7pm. This entire process took us 12 hours. While her being under anesthesia would be the best outcome for a dog since they wouldn't be moving, they did not care AT ALL about her quicks. I understand that vets/vet techs are challenged with dark nails. But nails were shaven down extremely too short and uneven. She bled on all her nails. It sucks for those who also had a bad experience, everything in front desk felt absolutely rushed. We were speaking to too many different people at a time. Im also unsure if they treated her well during her dental cleaning if this is what her nails look like. I haven't gotten to look at her teeth yet since she's been exhausted after her appt yesterday. I will probably update, or not. I'm not returning to this place.

5/5 - Dr. Zoo Saved My Pup's Life Dr. Zoo Veterinary Services saved my 13-year-old Labrador's life. (Then 12 year old pup). After spending $2K on labs in Carlsbad and being quoted over $15K for surgery to remove a towel she swallowed, I turned to Dr. Zoo. They ran frequent X-rays to monitor the situation and, once in surgery, discovered a tumor the size of a small fist in her liver. The vet performed two surgeries, provided 24/7 care, kept me updated constantly, and treated my dog like their own. The level of compassion and dedication was beyond anything I've experienced. The Cuban surgeon (I forgot his name, but! he is amazing! and the entire team truly love what they do--and it shows. Not only did they save my pup, but they spared me from a much higher cost in San Diego. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Dr. Zoo has my full trust and highest recommendation. My Ñusta will be having another surgery for another cancer over the weekend, Dr. Zoo has my complete trust even when doing surgeries for my old puppy. Thank you! Thank you!

please don't bring your animals here, I had a dog which they helped me diagnose what was wrong with her but she ended up passing because they gave up on her, please go to a different vet if you want your pets to live, i agree that these new vets lack experience and left my dogs legs full of blood and scabs from taking her blood too much. my dog passed because they said, her anemia isn't bad we're not worried, but the problem wasn't the anemia it was because she stopped eating and was losing weight every day. I now live with the guilt of not listening to the 1 star reviews, please don't come!

Dog fell ill and my typical vet couldn't see me. Dr Zoo got me in and out within a hour. The wait was about 30 minutes. The place was packed when I came here on a Saturday around 3pm. The care I received was fantastic. The doctor seemed to be really excited to be at work which is refreshing. We were prescribed a few pills and instructions. The front desk took care of payment. The whole experience was great. Price was a little pricey but to get in and out within a hour as a walk in, I think it was pretty fair. Staff speaks English if you're wondering. There's a small wait room inside and a large plaza outside. There a parking lot and you have to pay to park.

Can't say enough good things about this place!! They took care of my dog that needed emergency surgery. And literally saved his life. He is a 15 year old dog so I'm so thankful they helped

    My beautiful girl, Rose

Super clean, very knowledgeable and fairly priced! This isn't too far from the border, I would take transportation next time. All is all, GREAT vet. For surgery, pathology, anesthesia, and meds to take home was less than $400

HospiVet did an outstanding job and I happily paid their fee, less than $400.00 I thought I might have to put my dog to sleep if I could not get him the relief he needed. She was kind, compassionate, spoke perfect English, kept us updated throughout the visit, and took the time to explain our dog's condition and treatment plan clearly. She made an incredibly stressful situation much easier, and we're very grateful for the care she provided. We also saw the cardiologist while we were there. Although he seemed knowledgeable, he wasn't very friendly and often appeared annoyed when we asked questions. As worried pet owners, we were simply trying to understand our dog's condition, so his attitude was disappointing. Unfortunately, our recent experiences with the front desk have been frustrating. Last month, when our dog needed to be seen urgently, we couldn't get an appointment. The receptionist told us to take her to another clinic. We requested a referral, but our message was completely ignored. This week, I tried scheduling an appointment a few days in advance. The receptionist asked for my name and my dog's name so she could look us up in the system. After I provided the information, she never responded back. I followed up the next morning, and my message was still ignored. This was a completely different experience from the receptionist we dealt with four months ago, who always responded promptly and was very helpful. Dr. Sayra deserves five stars for her excellent care, but the lack of communication and responsiveness from the front desk has been very disappointing. When you're dealing with a sick pet, timely communication matters just as much as good medical care. I hope the clinic improves its customer service because their veterinarians deserve better support. I'd recommend to go down the street to New Vet. They are helpful and responsive!

It often felt like the nicer the place looked, the less they actually cared about the pets. Because of that, I gave up and kept paying the ridiculous vet prices in San Diego... until I simply couldn't take it anymore. Thank God I found Club de Nana on Yelp. After reading all the great reviews (and yes, they're REAL), I decided to give them a chance, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was different. The entire staff truly cares about every pet that comes in. They don't see animals as $$$ signs, they listen, they explain, and they care about your fur babies. My first green flag was seeing multiple pets being cared for behind the front desk, literally hanging out freely instead of being locked in cages, I absolutely LOVED THAT!! There are no appointments, you just wait your turn. I've been there four times, and only once did I wait for my turn about 15-20 minutes. Every other visit was less than 5 minutes. The clinic looks like a house from the outside, so parking is limited, but even then I only had to wait about 10 minutes once. I took my 7-year-old pittie because he was bleeding while peeing. They ran different tests, diagnosed him with an enlarged prostate, and recommended surgery (neutering). It's now been 11 days since he got surgery at El Club de Nana, his stitches are out, the bleeding is completely gone, and he's happier and has so much more energy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the doctors Lulu and Francisco, and the staff at Club de Nana. I have my healthy, happy boy back, and I couldn't be more grateful .

I was so happy when I arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating and wonderful. The clinic is very clean and has parking out front. Only about 10 mins from the border. I paid $160USD for the initial visit which covered the check-up, x-rays, and medications. Extremely affordable and fair pricing. My dog already had stitches on her cheek from another incident and the doctor offered to take them out at a later date. I went back a week after and they didn't charge me anything. She got her stitches at another vet in Poway (we paid $1100 for that visit, NEVER AGAIN). I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be bringing my puppies here for any veterinarian needs.
