The communication was constant and there was always someone answering my questions, and they were very detailed in their pricing tiers (to see what my pets required) I found the service through a simple google search and saw it had good reviews, and decided to reach out, as I have 2 9-year-old cats that needed dental cleanings. On the day of service, my initial driver, Steph came to pick up my 2 cats, directly from home (i had opted for that additional service) and she communicated with me upon arrival, informed me where my pets were headed and informed me when they arrived. The vet also communicated with me when they arrived, to check them in, confirmed what needed to be done, sent me the necessary forms, and called me twice more afterwards to let me know how things were going and checking them out, as well as instructions. My pets were safely brought back to me after their procedures by Eugenio who also made sure that all my questions were answered by the vet before leaving, which, again, just really helped ease the whole process. I have used Mexivet twice now for my cat. Both times, they were communicative, professional, and provided quality services at a great price. The first service my cat needed was a deep dental cleaning with three extractions. For this procedure, Mexivet sent him to Petmed, who called me to approve the extractions, and emailed me his x rays and blood work. The whole day (including transportation, the blood work/x rays, and medications) came to about $775, where stateside vets quoted $2500. The second service was an exam with x-ray to figure out why he had been coughing. Mexivet was able to facilitate care with Clinica Pates Felices. The vet there was professional and kind, telling me how cute he was, with his diagnosis being mild asthma. Just the x-rays stateside would've been $700+. My total (with medications and additional blood work) came out to $330. Eugenio was my return driver from Clinica Pates Felices, and he was very communicative, and even sent me a picture of my sweet boy in his crate before they crossed the border home. I cannot recommend this service enough to pet parents on a budget. read more
