Chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting
    Teresa C.

I had to come to this store while housesitting because I dream about their cake. It's my absolute favorite store bought cake. When I say it's good I mean it 100%. It's as good as cake made in my kitchen. The frosting tastes homemade and the cake definitely does. I was told it's made daily and brought into their store from their main store or wherever they get their food from. However you can taste the freshness and good quality. You must try it!!!

This location is closing shortly - nearly everything 50% off - shame for the neighborhood - came here for their British offerings - sadly no more ! Prices here were always more in comparison to elsewhere - but for specialty items it was great.

Awesome assortment of high end paper products, cards, party accessories, and Bodum glassware. The other half of the store is filled with your typical grocery items, deli, a cheese parlor, bakery, catering, and a large selection of wines. This grocery is the perfect spot for your gourmet and speciality items. I stumbled across their wine tasting that's offered every Saturday from 11-5 and Ryan is wonderful and knowledgeable.

My first time at a Draeger's I think. Well stocked and found a lot of unique cool items. Dropping a star for the deli lady who had a "why are you bothering me" vibe when I asked a question.

Just your small chain, small neighborhood, grocery store; albeit a very well-to-do neighborhood. The store feels very clean, and the people that work here are super nice and helpful. My parents don't live in the immediate neighborhood, but they live pretty close by. We always come here to get their desserts for family gatherings. Their pies and their tarts are delicious here. And relatively speaking, they have better crust than pretty much anywhere else you can get similar desserts. they have a pretty good variety as well. It's a full on grocery store so you can get produce and a lot of other items lhere as well. But mainly we have come here for the desserts. I totally would recommend.

1/2 chicken salad sandwich. See how generous they were with the ingredients! Purple round things are grapes.

I am truly impressed with this store and its specialty food, elegant kitchenware and cooking classes. They have gourmet and artisan items that you can't find at just any grocery store. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is I knocked off a star for being very expensive for the same items found at lower prices elsewhere, and knocked off another star for the food in the deli. Although beautifully presented and freshly made, it's not all that great tasting. A lot of their deli salads and prepared foods seem to have a vinegary taste to them across the board. But a great thing about their deli is that their sandwiches are very generously made. You indicate on the order sheet what you would like on your sandwich and it can end up being quite huge. This store is very clean and well kept up, and the service is always very friendly and efficient.

Always love their selection, but recently discovered a cake that officially made to the family's favorite things-- Kona Macadamia Mousse cake with toasted coconut!!! Definitely a must try! We tried their California rolls after doing quick snack and cake shopping.

All the mental health treatment I was going through just wasn't enough. I learned by working with Ajinder the significance of gut health, daily hydration, exercise, meditation, sleep hygiene and even cycle syncing. Before working with her, I would have prided myself in most of those aspects and my knowledge of them, but she helped me put the pieces together to help them make sense and actually work together. Most importantly, she did it all in a manner that made me stick to these habits. Now, nearly 4 months since my last session, I can proudly say I've kept up with all my goals. I wish I could shout from the rooftops how amazing this woman is! It's also worth mentioning that i live on the opposite side of the country as her so for anyone hesitant to do virtual or phone visits, she made it work, even with the time difference. I am so glad I took the leap and did this for myself because it was the foundation I so desperately needed to build my new "me".

Few examples - * Russian cuisine - Herring with a pickled onion on fresh bread * Indian street food - I was surprised how much I enjoyed this vegan street snack - I would have never ordered anything without meat, and I dislike spinach, but the fried spinach snack was mind-blowingly good. * Mexican - Quesadilla with plantain. Again, no meat but it was soooooo good. * Chinese - Glazed Pork and pork-filled bun I won't spoil the surprise for some of the other locations. And more, and more - Total of about 7-8 places. You won't stay hungry, guaranteed. The walk itself is not challenging; there are no hills to overcome, even though it's San Francisco. Don't wait - Just go!

I am extremely pleased by my children's progress in speaking and recognizing Chinese characters. I tried teaching Mandarin to my kids with the many resources available (YouTube, Books, etc), but it was difficult. I didn't know what I was doing, but at Happy Panda, the teachers are all very skilled. They knew what they were doing to teach my kids in a fun and engaging manner. In class, the teachers teach the kids how to read simple Chinese books. I'm sure the kids are just memorizing, but by doing the reading/repeating with a physical book, it seems to me that they are learning how to pronounce and recognize the words correctly. They sometimes do Chinese calligraphy, crafts (related to Chinese), and games to make learning Chinese fun. They also use white boards to write Chinese characters to practice writing. So far, my kids are excited to go to class everyday. They're eager to tell me what they can say in mandarin after class. I also love that I get to reinforce/review what was taught in class at home because of the resources Ms. Lin provides to the parent.

Come to think of it, it makes sense to have a store that offers balsamic vinegar and olive oil tastings in quaint downtown. The walls are lined with so many different flavors you can read about and sample. We stayed in the balsamic vinegar corner where there were all types of fruit flavors and had signs offering recommendations of how to use it (on salads, fruit, cocktails, even ice cream). We didn't wander to the olive oil section, but I definitely will next time. They have the following price breakdown for bottle size: Small: $8 Medium: $14 Large: $21 They also have tinier bottle sizes and gift bags which would be fun to give/receive. I believe the owner rang us up and she sealed our bottle for us to preserve freshness (it was just corked when purchased). She said to come back with the empty bottle for $1 off!

The shop ladies were so super friendly and kind. They said we could try any of the balsamic vinegar flavors mixed with sparking water if we wanted to. (But I thought these were only for salads? So wrong of me!) They have a glass jug with the sample flavor of the day already mixed with water. That was the first one I tried: Cranberry Pear. Ooh!!! It was so delicious. Not what I thought it would be. It tasted like a soda without all the sugars. It was actually quite refreshing and delightful. I asked what their top 3 flavors were: - Cranberry Pear - Peach - Sicilian Lemon I decided to try Peach. She added sparking water to it. Omg! That was even more delicious. I'm pretty sure any of these flavors will be a hit. Different flavored vinegars and olive oils adorned the walls! Each flavor has a sign with its name, what they are best used for, and what they are best paired with. I wish I could try them all but I can save that for another visit. They also sell pastas, tea towels, little bowls, and other cute things to go with their products. Also found out that Maison Benoit uses their products at their bakery.
