Stopped in for lunch as I had time to kill while in the area. I decided on a chicken bacon ranch slice. While it was good, it didn't stand out from other slices I've had if the same. Absolute garbage pizza and customer service from the owner. This was the worst pizza I've ever had, hands down. It was extremely greasy. Even the sauce and taste was horrible. I went to Dragos Pizza on Monday and asked if there were any lunch specials w/chicken Parm. The cashier told me that they have pizza specials. I reiterated that I was looking for chicken Parm. He then asked me 'that's what, chicken sauce and cheese, right?' I wanted to fall off of my chair, but I was standing. I said 'Yes'. He then turns to who he referred to as Boss who was on the phone; he said 'Hey boss, do we have chicken Parm?' And the boss replied 'What do you mean with cheese and sauce? Does it have any meat in it?' And the cashier said 'yes chicken'. So Boss said 'yeah charge her ?? rate. The cashier then proceeded to put it in his cash register and said to me '$19', I said no thank you, laughed and walked out. I proceeded to call La Bistro in Coram and ordered my chicken parm lunch special for $9.99 including pasta, salad, Italian bread. Dragos Pizza was in the vicinity, but I'd rather drive to La Bistro who has the best pizza on Long Island. I'm embarrassed for Dragos Pizza, that was a rough situation. They deserve to leave that space & give it to a thriving pizzeria. Let's not mention the prior review that included a 4 legged critter when someone was there. I should've read it 1st! read more

My wife & I drove 20 minutes to Dragos to try their tri color pizza based off what we saw on their Insta page. We got 3 regular slices & a tri color slice. Could not have been more disappointed. The tri color slice was way over cooked to begin with & was obviously sitting for a very long time, but we really wanted to try it. So got it anyway. Big mistake. *Whoever makes their display pizzas has to be mindful to take their pies out a few minutes earlier to allow for reheating. That clearly didn't happen here. To make matters worse, they left all our slices in way too long for reheating. We were pretty much eating cardboard with some dried sauce & mozzarella. Bathroom was littered and not clean overall. Sitting area needs to be updated. Felt like I was in a dungeon. Probably won't go back here unless we buy a fresh pie to bring home. read more

This was the most disgusting Sicilian pizza I've ever eaten. Half sausage it was truly inedible. His brother owns Lafamosa pizza in holtsville. They make the best pizza, Sicilian or otherwise. I asked my husband to go to lafamosa but he insisted his brother at Dragos made a better Sicilian pizza. It was disgusting, so much so I couldn't even eat it, it was that disgusting. In the area running errands without the kid and I found myself in this shopping center off of North Ocean Ave, and starving. Cut to me walking into Drago's and being met with a plethora of specialty slices. Points for creativity as one of their slices was a sweet chili chicken slice. So sad I saw it two seconds too late. I also must have walked in right smack in the middle of everyone's lunch break and for a second regretted my timing, but everyone behind the counter had a hold on everything and I was greeted, had my order taken and paid in no time flat. The slices I ordered were the Brooklyn and an upside down slice. Both very good. Their sauce was a little on the sweet side, tasty and over all done very well. As I was about to grab my slices to be devoured in my car while heading to my next stop, and an older gentleman walked in. Seemed to be a regular as he was very friendly with the staff. They talked about the freshly made eggplant rollitini, which once again made me question my food decision. As I walked out the older gentleman said "I'm gonna tell everyone about you guys on Yelp". First of all they never updated the place from the original owner. Who had excellent food. Now for the new owner who changed the name to Dragos. Specialty slices are priced high, but for quality food I would be ok with it. However not only are the specialty slices half the size of its competitors but I thought I was going to brake a tooth on it. Slice was super crunchy, however the crust was not even edible! My recommendation is don't even stop here if you have never been in the area try anyone else, this place is horrible. I do not understand how they have made it this long! We were greeted on arrival around 530 PM there was a line that moved swiftly. We got a buffalo chicken slice (didn't make my eyes sweat so not to hot), upside down slice (superb crust, soft inside, and amazing crunch on the bottom), a penne slice, and knots. They had a variety of penne slices so I couldn't be specific on which one accept it was on the middle display shelf. Zero complaints. The server forgot our knots on to go order so hooked us up with a couple extra on the house. They've been open for a minute, only our second time since it switched over so new owners. I think just before pandemic or at beginning and the insides been done over. Nice decor, still your classic shop. Limited standing space, basic strip mall alley style goes deep with tables in the back. The pizza maker/perhaps owner was on point helping out the counter kid and friendly. My bf witnessed the same girl behind the counter, eating while waiting on customers, not washing her hands, touch garbage, then come out and "rinse her hands with water" no soap! Then proceed to touch food for customers. UNACCEPTABLE!!! your handling food and giving it to people to consume, you should be caring about your customers. Rinsing with water is NOT washing your hands. Maybe Drago's needs some new staff, maybe people who care about cleanliness. read more

Amazing crisp/crunch on their square slices, they have this down. Didn't find this same crisp on the regular slices though. I would say this is very slightly above average for LI Pizza (which should be/used to be better than what it is). Rated a 3 because their red sauce was sweet which in my personal opinion tainted the whole experience on the regular and square slices. I would rate this 7.3 on Dave's scale. Staff was pretty friendly. Place was super small although I think they had tables in the back which I didn't see. read more

Placed a delivery order for Rice Balls, Greek salad and ricotta & mozzarella calzone. All very good, the salad greens were fresh and plentiful. The pizza crust on calzone was crispy yet chewy-- cooked perfectly! I grew up with Nonna making Rice Balls she used to call them Supli. Not an item you find on menus very often so I was happy to give them a try. They were good, not as good a Nonna's but I would get them again. read more

Great old school pizza place in the Stop & Shop shopping center on Horseblock and Ocean Ave - recently opened and definitely worth a try. Really flavorful sauce and traditional NY pizza with some interesting new twists (garlic knot crust). They do full pies or slices and even sell zeppollis. The ladies behind the counter are their secret weapon - service with a smile. Exactly what this mall needed as it comes back to life with a recent makeover. This will be my new go-to. read more
