The prices are pretty cheap for how much you get in these. I have only came here to get something for a carryout. It doesn't seem like a place you should want to dine in. This place looks like it could probably be sticky. As for the food itself it's not bad. Prices are pretty good for the big portions. General Tso's Tofu is a great option that's plant based. It's $11.25 for the only portion. This is one of the few that has the same sizes with lunch and dinner so it's all big ones for these. Full of vegetables like broccoli. This tastes pretty fresh and not like it's been reheated like at some Asian places around here. A lot of customers get carryout. If you look inside you may find out why and take it back home. Dragon Light has great food with large portions at good prices. You can add an egg roll, a cup of egg drop soup and fried rice to any entree for $1.95. Great value. My beef chow fun was delicious. Beef was tender and not spongy like some places. My husband's steak with peapods was good , but was actually same beef as my dish and not the expected steak. I love the almond cookies and hot tea they include as well. For some reason my picture of the entrees didn't post. We'll be back so I'll post next time. read more

The food has always been good here, we have been going and taking out since 2000 when we moved to the area. It's the only Chinese restaurant in the area that we dine in. All the food is very good. The service is always timely and the servers have always been polite. Even if it's a busy Friday night, serving time has always been acceptable. If your in a hurry or not the food come out quickly but if you want to go slow and spend an hour there, they are always very accommodating. The ambiance is typically pretty quiet. If it's busy, you hear the expected customer chatter. The booths and tables and new-ish and always very clean. My husband has been here before but it was my first time here. The dining room is very pretty. Take a look at the photos. The dining room has a turquoise theme . Chairs are comfortable. I would categorize the service as perfunctory. According to the dictionary that means 'carried out with a minimum of effort or reflection.'. I snickered as I listened to the server take the order from the table next to us. The woman asked a few questions. The server answered her. She stated her order and the server turned around and left. Her dining companion said 'I'd like to order also.' So the server came back and took his order. Weird. The Mongolian beef was very good. The vegetable fried rice was good. The egg rolls were good. I wondered, however, why the egg rolls weren't hot since there were only 2 occupied tables. An egg roll fried at 350 degrees should arrive at the customer's table still hot. Maybe the chef had 'to go' orders that he was cooking at the same time as ours. No refill on the sodas we ordered. Prices are reasonable. Restrooms are very clean. read more

I called in an order for pickup, they forgot my shrimp fried rice, I called to tell them they didn't include my rice and they pretended he couldn't hear me, then finally when he could hear me, he said oh sorry and hung up. I go to the restaurant to pick up the missing item and the guy pretended like he didnt know, despite it being the same guy I spoke too. So I tell him I'm in a hurry to get back to my family dinner and he said well no one told me they were coming to pick it up so we are gonna have to make it again....... ???? He said it like we are trying to scam him out of shrimp fried rice??? I respectfully told him if it was for my order shouldn't it been already made? I'll take it cold if that's the case. He ignored me. So I go to have a seat, he makes me wait about 45 min for my side of shrimp fried rice. This place is ridiculous. Definitely don't recommend this unprofessional place. While waiting I noticed he was extremely rude to the DoorDash / delivery people, not to mention any call in orders! There is no need for attitude towards paying customers!! Don't get this man started with "chow mein versus lo mein mandarin style", heard at least 5 arguments go the exact same way, like what's the matter with explaining to people? Food is always plentiful at Dragon light. Also comes out pretty quick.I got the Szchewan beef which was too hot for my liking. I knew it was going to be hotter than the norm but this was really hot. My gal had sweet and sour shrimp which was very good. Only 3 stars Because waiter who is very nice and has been there a long time was Sick. He definitely had some kind of head cold or something which was making a little nervous considering whats going on with the Virus.Shouldnt be there if your sick. 3 couples in the whole place but thats probably because whats going on. Would of givin another star but no because of Mr Sick. Will be back Probably not for a while though. read more
