We ordered takeout from China One for a family of four for the first time. It was ready within twenty minutes. It was inexpensive and delicious. We ordered Mongolian Chicken, Orange Chicken with Pineapple Pork Fried Rice, a side of white rice, Two Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, and Cantonese Noodles with Chicken. They didn't forget any sauces which was great. It also came with your typical fortune cookie which is always a nice way to finish the meal. The food was more than enough for our family with leftovers for the next day. We plan on dining with China One again. read more

I give them a solid three. The egg rolls had a little too much pepper in them and I love pepper. The pu pu platter was very filling. I mean you get A LOT. It was decent. It's a platter for two each person gets ; two chicken skewers, a shrimp ring, crab Rangoon, an egg roll and little bits of fried Chicken. All pretty tasty! I also ordered the pepper steak lunch special with an orange chicken lunch special. The pepper steak was good but the orange chicken was way too sweet. Almost sickly sweet. This place is amazing! We moved to Chicago from California about 8 months ago and have not been able to find decent chinese food. We were out in Manhattan visiting friends when we ordered take out from China One (I think it's the only Chinese place in the small town). I had the orange chicken & crab rangoon. I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised that it was delicious! And real white meat chicken too, not the chewy knarley mystery meat pieces you usually find in chinese food! The prices are pretty phenomenal, too! I've had Rising Sun several times out in frankfort & new lenox, but this little joint blows them out of the water! The only complaint is that now I have to drive over an hour to get some good Chinese food! read more
