I've bookmarked this place for a while now and finally got the chance to try it. On the east side of Commercial Blvd, there is no issues finding parking in the plaza. I wasn't that hungry when I arrived so I didn't get to try as many items as I would have liked. Their menus are helpful with pictures and they all look delicious. I ordered the pan fried chive dumplings, scallion pancake and sui mai. My friend ordered the vegetable fried rice and the fried krab cream cheese. The scallion pancakes ended up being my favorite item I ate that night. I was unable to stop eating them! Delicious. I really liked the sui mai as well. Tons of meat and I would say it's filling. The pan fried dumplings came out beautifully. I loved the presentation with the crisp. Our total for all of these items was $40. Very affordable! Very nice. Big welcome. Was seated , the chairs are very comfy, kinda like a hug. I had their wonderful wonton soup, very flavorful. Big pieces of greens . Easy online ordering, I got two orders of their baked bbq pork buns after seeing them on their Instagram and I was easily influenced to say the least. They tasted even better than they looked even with their perfectly golden buns and wow were they good. Definitely looking to dine in here one day so that was a great first impression! I'm able to have an online receipt of my order and they also texted me when it was ready. Very nice & simple service, I went to the counter, they got my name & they gave me my order. Newer and needs some tweaks before I could honestly give it 5 stars. I would love to see them succeed. I love the concept of this spot and we need more diversity in FTL. Service was ! Comfortable space and fun music was playing. Unfortunately, the food was inconsistent and I am not sure I would go back before trying other spots. We began with the soup dumplings and tried several menu items. The truffle dumpling was beautiful but very overpowering in the truffle, while the Korean beef stir fry was practically flavorless. It was not good. (Sorry!!) it also looked nothing like the picture on the menu and had cabbage instead of scallions. I was left, thinking they must've screwed up my order and shame on me for not saying anything or asking. The vegetable fried rice was very fresh and good. That and the fried mushrooms were the best thing we had. We also enjoyed the duck buns. The other dumplings we tried were all just ok. Nothing I would write home about or order again. Dim Sum Terminal--what a hidden gem! My dad lives around the corner and I can't believe I didn't know this place existed. Honestly, I'm a little upset at myself for missing out all this time. Tucked away in a strip mall with plenty of parking, this cozy, well-lit spot feels like a delicious secret. We were greeted by Oliver, who let us in on the best part--it's family-owned. Chef Lola runs the kitchen with love, Katherine makes the desserts, and every dumpling is handmade fresh in-house. The star of the night? The spicy wontons. I've never had anything like them before, and now I can't stop thinking about them. They've officially ruined me for all other wontons. Just go ahead and take my money--I'm a loyal customer for life. And here's the pro tip: save room for Katherine's macarons. She puts a French patisserie to shame. Light, crisp, chewy perfection. We had a lovely lunch here. They weren't busy when we stopped by, but I'm sure they will become so once people learn about them. They're located on the north side of Commercial boulevard . You can find them by their address as the signage is not the easiest to see on the upper front of the building. Parking is at the free and metered spots out front. According to Kathryn (who was our server and makes all the desserts and is part of the family owners), they have only been open six weeks. They are still tweaking their menu. After feedback, they are going to be getting their beer and wine license soon plus may add other items to the menu. I suggested soup and while we were there, they decided to try to make some. We couldn't wait until it was done to try it, as we had pressing errands, but we hope it worked out. We had four different dim sum choices. In order of my likes : we loved their signature duck buns with lots of duck meat and crunchy veggies wrapped in the soft and slightly sweet taco like "buns". Then the traditional hargow shrimp dumpling. This is a clearer -- that is more see through -- dough wrapped around a piece of shrimp. Then the classic pork dumplings -- "potstickers" -- that we got pan fried, but these could also be steamed or deep fried. And last the ribs that were steamed with black beans -- my least favorite. The ribs are tiny pieces of meat with fat and bones. It's a bit messy and hard to eat. There are black beans but not really a sauce. I'd skip these next time. There are very few dimsum restaurants on the east side of town. That alone would make them popular, but you will want to try them first for their food and for their unique hand made desserts. Place is amazing. We order the 2 specials: soup dumplings - chili oil wanton. We continue with the duck bun baos. Fried chicken mala dumplings. Out of all of the South Florida restaurants (and beyond) I've had the pleasure of dining at, I have never wanted to root for more than DimSum Terminal. While doom scrolling on Facebook I came across a glowing review on the Let's Eat South Florida group page. Always on the look out for good buns, my partner and I decided to try it out for our date night. It's located in an unassuming plaza, but the inside is very spacious and clean. We were immediately greeted by staff and given a little call button to let them know when we were ready to order. The menu has a very wide variety of options so we went ham and ordered a few things. When our food was ready, it was delivered via the CUTEST cat robot! I had never seen one in person before and was absolutely delighted. It even responded to pets. Our first dish was the fried mushroom and weirdly enough, it may have been my favorite dish. It was almost like a dupe of calamari, covered with flavorful peppers. We then had the wagyu truffle buns which tasted amazing and (thankfully) didn't go heavy on the truffle. They also had a beautiful gold dust to garnish. Next we had pork belly buns and duck buns. Both were delish, my only recommendation there is to pickle the veggies a little longer but otherwise perfect! Lastly, the macarons. These are made in house by the owners/managers sister. They could very seriously just be their own business and if you're ever looking for a light desert, get a box! They are absolutely friggin adorable and DELICIOUS! I had the tiramisu and my partner had the mint. If I had the room for it, I would have eaten ten myself. Here's our favorite part: the family running it. They were so friendly and kind, giving us recommendations and asking for feedback on the dishes to what they could improve on. We also learned about their background and how the restaurant got started. They have only been open a month and haven't yet gotten the hang of marketing so I IMPLORE YOU, if you're reading this, they absolutely deserve your business and you won't be disappointed. When I find a place I like, I make it a point to visit at least three more times--just to ensure consistency. And this spot has not disappointed me! The soup dumplings? Just found this new modest place that sits right beside Anthony's clam House on E. Commercial Blvd. Went there Sunday for dim sum at lunchtime. It was terrific. Service was excellent, and every dish was tasty and reasonably priced. The soup, dumplings, and the shrimp and pork shumai or standouts, but nothing was weak. Would go back soon and would recommend it to anyone who wants good dim sum, and doesn't wanna have to drive all the way out west. Wow! My partner and I were looking for dinning out on New Year day and most of the places we called were not serving in they dining rooms. We called DinDum and the call was friendly and courteous. We arrived and were immediately sat down and waited by an amazing waitress. The food we order was amazing, although soup was not available that evening. The food compensated the soup missing. Service was excellent and the robot that was leftover from the Hot Pot restaurant that occupied the space is a fun touch. Shrimp in a dumpling item were not fresh and the dumpling wrapping/dough didn't meld well with the shrimp. Vegetable dumplings were no better. Dumplings are the type of food that can be addictive and something that I order several varieties but here I had no desire to order more. Two non dim sum entrees were okay with one noodle dish being good and a rice dish being lackluster, so much so that I left it. DimSum Terminal was disappointing. read more

The steamed pork dumplings, baked roast pork buns, spare ribs with black bean paste, pan fried pork & chive dumplings, and duck buns are amazing and reminded me of the dim sum I grew up on! A bonus is the macaroons for dessert. They are as beautiful as they are delicious. The flavors we had were black sesame & Dubai chocolate. Absolutely a must have! So my boyfriend and I tried Dim Sum Terminal tonight since we saw it on social media. We went tonight and we learned they are a family business with everything authentic and homemade--from his mom making the dumplings in the back to his sister creating delicious homemade macaroons. From my boyfriends opinion -- The soup dumplings are definitely something not to miss out on and the pork dumplings were fire.
