Dragon Thai never fails to impress me! They usually have some calming music playing in the background, which is a great change of pace from the hustle and bustle you find at most restaurants. They offer complementary soup to everyone, which is perfect on cold days (like the ones we've been having in texas recently). I love their steamed dumplings, peanut rolls, tom yum, & their glass noodles. Everything from here is top tier! I've never had a negative experience with their staff. Eaten here a number of times, the food has always been very good. I'm not sure how I feel about the new location, it's smaller but more central, so I am sure it works out well for them. As long as the food stays the same I'm fine with it. read more

We have ate at Dragon Thai for quite some time. We put it into our iPhone map app and it took us to a new location. My wife went in and asked is this the same restaurant. The girl replied I don't know. So we went to the old location and found it closed. We went back to the new location and ate our dinner. The food is always good and fairly authentic, but for them not to know they had moved and were the same restaurant is questionable. I am sure this was a new hire, but they should at least let these people know. read more

This review is based on the new location and not the food. The space that Dragon Thai moved to is MUCH smaller than their old restaurant and, while a better location since it's less out of the way, it seemed to make it much harder to get seated. The night we visited, the A/C wasn't barely working and the waitress/hostess told us it would take 30 minutes or so to get our food since they were running way behind. We always enjoyed the food at the old location, but perhaps their rent went up and were forced to move. The new location seemed to have lots of call-in orders and it was difficult to find a parking space as well. We may try it in the future to see if their food is as good as it was, but the cramped area for dining will make it unlikely. read more

The food is excellent as always. They moved above five miles west. They have raised their prices. They are now pricey. I ordered chow mean noodles and my wife chicken friex rice. Two small to go boxes. The to total was $35.98. Over priced. read more

I was really excited to try this place, but after waiting 45 minutes I was presented with Massaman Curry that tasted more like eggnog than curry... super sweet with barely any curry or spice. Easy to find. If you are south bound on Highway 75 the restaurant is about 2 miles south of the 75/69 split on Highway 69. It is on the west side of the road. The food is spectacular. A clean restaurant with excellent service to match the food. I spotted a picture of Hibachi Shrimp on the restaurants window as I was walking in. My mind was made up. On the menu it shows up under the chef's special section. A heat level of medium turned out to be very mild. The shrimp, the vegetables and the fried rice were fresh and flavorful. The fried rice usually goes mostly untouched on my plate. Not today. I could have made a meal of just the fried rice. I don't think I have ever said that before. Check the pictures. My wife had the Lo Mein with shrimp. Another great choice. The meals come with the option of soup or salad. I had the salad with the sweet dressing. Crisp fresh salad, perfect dressing. We added the crispy shrimp rolls to go with the salad and soup while we waited on our meals. Friendly fast attentive service. I really liked Dragon Thai. read more

We were told the wait for our to go order would be 14-20 minutes. We waited for over an hour to only be told that the wait is going to be another 10 minutes. Literally the worst place in Texoma. Oh and not to mention the attitude given from the girls when everyone is wondering where their food is. read more

Do not get the soup they offer as a starter it is nothing but broth with way too much cilantro. I got a shrimp, chicken and steak combo fried rice it literally had 3 shrimp in it and very little beef or chicken was 85 % rice staff was friendly but not very attentive it was not busy I think I counted 4 tables with guests and from the time we placed our order to the food arriving we waited almost 25 minutes before food arrived. This was my first time ordering from Dragon Thai however I know how Yellow Curry is and what to expect! The potatoes in this dish were tan,old and mushy......disgusting! I had to pick them out and contemplated whether to continue eating the meal. The rice was perfect and the flavor was decent. All of the other vegetables were good. This is a great little Denison gem. At the top of the list for Thai or Asian food in this area. For us it is a little bit of a drive but soooo worth it! Love the Pho soups especially the beef. Once when feeling under the weather Hubs made a special trip to bring me some of their Pho. Sure made me feel better. Can't attest to its healing properties not a doctor ... yada yada yada. All I know is it helped me feel better. Pad Thai, dumplings all great. Large servings, good service, great vegetarian menu items too. The star for us is the FRIED RICE. It is very tasty. Ask for extra egg and onion. All in all a very clean restaurant, great quick service, superior take out.
