Love this place and have been in here a few times, but this past visit was sour. I took my friend to show her around since I have been RAVING about this place to her for a while. I understand that certain precautions are taken due to the pandemic, but some of these precautions were ridiculous. We had to knock to come into the store for one and were greeted by a woman who sourly greeted us and asked "do you know what you are looking for" and I responded with a yes and no since we wanted to go in and look around since it was my friend's first time. It was either I say yes I want a specific item or no and not be let in. She responded with "well there's no window shopping right now". Well alright how am I supposed to know exactly what I want with the thousands of items and different products on display?? The same woman was right behind us the whole time and even butted in when I was telling my friend something that wasn't even directed towards her. There is also a $10 minimum for card which wasn't a huge deal, but there are so many little items that cost only a few dollars (such as my $5 perfume oil I wanted) so I just decided to buy another one for my friend. Overall just very dissatisfied. We drove half an hour just to come here and didn't have the experience we wanted to. I was embarrassed because I hyped it up for my friend and our time there was definitely not what I made it out to be for her. read more

Great big ol' rack of jumbo ribs with delicious Memphis style BBQ sauce and all the fixins! They have seating out back by the fire pit and a good selection of craft beers. They have a few retro video games like Centipede and Proctologist Warfare Adventure featuring the actual voice and likeness of Larry H. Parker. When you first walk in, there is one of those fortune telling machines featuring an animatronic Johnny Carson who gives you little cards with quotes from Tolstoy. They have indoor rock climbing, they have a bounce house shaped like the head of Niddler from the animated series The Pirates Of Dark Water. There is a lazy river that runs through a donut shop and, if you are quick enough, the employees can complete your order and give you your donuts before you exit out of this area and head towards the haunted mine ride that leads into a forest made of Cap'n Crunch. Not the cereal, the actual mascot figure who is elongated into stretched out and grotesque tree forms giving a nice ambience. His first name is actually Horatio. read more

It is a very lovely store. Every time I walk in it feels like I am at home. All the staff are nice and willing to take a minute out of there day to chat with me and let me share about me as I get to know them better as well. They have a lovely collection of herbal remedies, and knick nacks for all walks of life. I enjoy just being able to hang out there and have a safe place to be me for a few hours. From their impressive stock of herbs, stones, gems, books, Oils, Incenses, tools, and SO MUCH MORE (even fabric) to their INCREDIBLE customer service & Tarot readings. Their staff is not only knowledgeable, but they are warm, friendly, and helpful. I've never walked out of there with the same knowledge I went in with. Someone there has always answered any questions I've had (and the one time they didn't know actually helped me research it right there on the spot), or has expanded my knowledge with their wisdom. Today, I took another friend of mine in for her 1st time and she was equally impressed and completely understands why DragonMarsh is my FAVORITE store. Came here a few weeks ago with my two daughters. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The loose tea is an absolute steal-great quality (multiple infusions) and very reasonable. They have such a great selection of items. The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are very nonjudgmental. They also give back to the community via the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. Upon seeing the flier in the shop, I became a volunteer! The prices are also very reasonable. I now live in the Palm Springs area. The local shop here is SO EXPENSIVE! Snobby and their selection cannot compare to Dragonmarsh. So you really cannot say Dragonmarsh is expensive until you visit a similar shop. True, you can visit Amazon, but when it comes to herbs...you have no idea how fresh it is or what the quality is. I've paid the price for making that mistake before. They also offer classes at a small fee. I am hoping to take on during the summer when I am back in town. read more

A good selection of crystals, essential oils, teas, tinctures, etc. The crystals are a bit more pricey than other stores I have visited, though.I had a tarot reading, which was really great and interesting. What can I say about this store? Except to say that they are knowledgeable, professional, but most of all kind. I've been going to this store for ten years and they have helped me in more ways than one. When I walk in I'm more than just a customer, I feel like a friend. Any question I've had is neither too big or to small for the employees at this store. They take a personal interest and helped point me in the direction in whatever the case maybe. When as a teen I started on my spiritual path, nervous and anxious they talked to me. Really talked and helped me understand I was not crazy for my interests. Later when I got engaged they helped me with my hand fasting and congratulated me on my upcoming nuptials. Than there is now. Another change in my life that is not as happy. Divorce. They once again welcomed me and sympathized and while I browse about their store helped choose the right candles, oils, etc that suited me best during this difficult change. With this store your not pointed to the most expensive items, or promise instant fixes with whatever spell your about to do. They are personable and reliable and despite what others may say I've never had a negative experience. Even on their busiest day I felt welcomed and never walked away unhappy or disappointed with either a product or customer service. So if you too have any questions, or need a certain product or just need a place to feel welcomed Dragon marsh is the place to go. read more

This is a really cool place to visit. I never buy anything in there but I browse in there whenever I'm in the area. It's neat to look at all the daggers and swords that they have, as well as the variety of teas and herbs and such for medicines and witchcraft. The people working there are always friendly too. Hands down my favorite little shop in all of Riverside. My daughters and I are always greeted and helped with everything. My daughters each bought a beautiful necklace today, a stuffed dragon, a stuffed dog and I bought an anointed Prosperity candle. Will admit they were close to loosing my business a few years ago. They had a habit of following customers around the store and it came off being less helpful and more watchful, like I was going to steal something. Since they moved to a smaller location they do this less. Their staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about their products. The first time I came into the store was about a month or so ago. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with friendly faces. A younger tall male, blonde hair, was extremely helpful. I went in there for the second time, on Tuesday. This time I met more employees. They were equally as helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. I wanted quite a few candles and could not decide which ones to get. So I grabbed them all! As soon as I started taking them off the shelf, a lady; in think in all black, dark hair; greeted me and immediately ran to get a basket. She also helped me with getting a necklace. I didn't speak to one gentleman as much as the others, but I just got a feel good vibe from him; if that makes sense. He had longer dark hair and glasses. It was fairly quiet in the store and he was on the phone, so I heard a bit of his conversation. (I really do apologize for eavesdropping). The only part I really heard was him giving a boy on the phone advice. From what I heard, I assume someone was bullying the kid for using oils and what not. I decided to mention this in the review because I think it really speaks volumes about someone's character. One of my pet peeves is bullying. I don't care what anyone's beliefs are or anything they do, is their business and not anyone else's. If he is the owner, then I would like to thank him for (as far as I could tell) a decent human being; and of course having such a great store!! read more

oh, dear.....really? weelllllll...walking into dragonmarsh is kind of like walking into the ren faire, except, you know, without the mosquito bites and sunburn. it's also quite....scented. loads of incense and more than a little whiff of the patchouli kind of completes the scene, if you will. oh, and i hear they've got wedding planning services now! goodness... how they survived when A primary didn't is beyond me. read more
