When I got there , they told me that they wouldn't actually pay cash for the cards and only do so on Wednesdays. Seems like that is something they should have told me when I was on the phone with them. That said, I still recommend coming here and will continue to do so myself

Walking around the Gateway District in downtown Salt Lake City when we came across this comic…read morebook/hobby store. We actually found this place unexpectedly right after parking the car in the nearby parking garage and my LTP, who enjoys collecting comic books, wanted to pop in and see what they had here. If you're a comic book nerd, then this is the place for you. They have a lot of awesome stuff in here. All their comic book selections that they have available are in boxes located in the back of the store and are listed in alphabetic order for easy browsing. They also have comic books that are permanently sealed and can't be opened. When I was little, I was a huge, huge fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, and seeing some of those here brought me back to my childhood. Along with comic books, they also have puzzles, trading cards, board games, and a collection of the world's smallest things, like the world's smallest Godzilla and the world's smallest Barbie doll. They had the world's smallest Magic 8 ball as well and I tested one while it was in the package. It was so small that I couldn't read the text after I shook it. We love working on puzzles in our free time and we would've bought one if we weren't working on one back at home right now. This was a cool place to step into. Very spacious and lots to choose from, you could spend hours and hours in here.

Jacob and Lee are fun as they run the board game league. They also have casual play night on Tuesdays where people are welcome to come and play games for free. Available games to play are downstairs. They are attached to a Mexican food restaurant so there are sometimes food smells that waft in to the game side, but it is not bad. If you come for game nights you are welcome to bring your own food as long as its not messy. I recommend you bring your own drink as there isn't fountain as part of the store. They have a pretty good selection of games.

When I was little, my brother made me watch a show called 'yugioh' with him. He got so obsessed…read morethat he started buying cards from the game and playing it with his friends. Later on, when things got hard in our family, he would always take me here to buy new yugioh cards and help me build a deck, so that he could take our minds off of everything. I will always be grateful to this shop for those wonderful moments with my brother, and even though we don't talk much anymore, I still play with the cards that he helped me get.
