Let me first start by thanking both Brandon Lamont and Tim Braden. Both were fantastic, friendly, honest, and helped me understand how severe my current plumbing situation was. It wasn't just verbal, but they showed me using the latest video technology. My situation was as bad as it can get for my tenants and these guys came in and got the job done! I had a main sewage line breakage and the front yard was beginning to flood with sewage water, it was nasty. It turned out that my sewage line had collapsed in several areas and was backed up. It was clearly visible through the video monitor they provided as we inspected the line to find the problem. The home was built in 1926 and so it was time for a serious repair. I did first get a hold of both Roto-Rooter and Mike Diamond and explained to them over the phone the situation and what I was seeing, both quoted me much higher prices than the Drain Kings. After being disappointed with both their quote prices, I googled mainline sewer repairs and the Drain Kings popped up. I immediately noticed their pricing was much more affordable than both Roto-Rooter and Mike Diamond. So I called up the Drain Kings and liked what I heard. They arrived early that same morning, assessed the situation using the latest technology and quoted me a great price for what needed to be done. Additional Drain King members showed up and began the work of replacing a large portion of my sewage line which was anywhere between 5 to 6 feet underground, added a clear out line and got this very old sewage line back up and running. Both Brandon and Tim were super awesome, Brandon kept me updated every step of the way with both video and pictures. These guys got this monstrous task done under the first El Niño severe storm that hit LA. Nothing stopped these guys no matter how hard it rained, they continue to work to ensure this job would get done in a timely manner so that my tenets can have full access to this sewage line as quickly as possible. The work is all done, all deep trenches have been re-filled, a new sewage line is in, and everything looks back as it did before this disastrous of a break occurred on this very old sewage line. Last week, I had a major problem with the plumbing at my income, commercial property. My regular plumber attempted to remedy the situation, but said that it was too serious, beyond his area of expertise, and advised me to call a larger, more specialized company. It was an emergency! I did some research, and called a few highly recommended companies, and decided to go with Drain Kings of Los Angeles. They were very courteous, professional, and responsive. One of the technical supervisors, Nshan, arrived very promptly and understood the sense of urgency to remedy the plumbing issues. He did a thorough analysis, and explained the extensive work that was required. It was getting late in the evening, and he called all of his resources to send crews, bring cameras, and figure out the primary issues. I knew it would be a huge project, since the building is so ancient; probably at least one hundred years old. After some clean-up and attempting to clear the backed up plumbing system for four storefronts, I met with the owner, Tiago, his foreman Brandon, and again with Nshan. With such a professional and knowledgeable team, I felt confident that I had made the right decision. They worked around the clock for nearly a week! I was very impressed that Tiago was so hands-on and available. He would continuously give me updates, and if I had questions, he would even come on his personal time to the site to thoroughly explain each step. I cannot compliment Nshan and Brandon enough; we were together on the site for so many hours, that I even became a bit acquainted with them. Plumbing can be scary with twists and turns that will cause any homeowner to continually hope it just gets done and like nothing ever happened. At least that was my feeling when brown water starting coming out of the tubs in my 100 year old home. This crew of awesome plumbers do just that. After nightmare experience after nightmare experience with Rooter and plumbers that my home warranty (American home Shield - joke of a company) kept sending out (4x) who's professional "diagnosis" was to get new toilets that used more water, Drain kings was recommended to me from an old friend. In his referral, he used the words 'magicians' and I can't disagree after using them for 2 major works (sewer line collapse and hole in ABS in a back bathroom). Drain Kings showed me via a scope monitor where my main line had collapsed, the exact cause of the problems were. No BS. Just showed me what no other plumber or rooter could in months. Brandon (project manager), Justin and team had a way of explaining the issues so I could understand them (as a lay person with absolutely zero plumbing experience aside from watching water drain). They showed me where the problems were, not just told me. He gave me multiple options with varying outcomes that I could work within my budget but at the end of the day felt like he treated my home like it was his. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Drain Kings! My nightmare unfolded when we discovered a leak in the kitchen, which lead to a broken outbound pipe from the kitchen to the main sewer line, which then lead to a corroded pipe under the house, which then lead to a corroded pipe out to the sewer under my front yard. It was nightmare central. We had other plumbers come out for the initial job from the kitchen, but they were just OK. So, we call The Drain Company (awesome company!) who recommended Tiago and the Drain Kings. My plumbing debacle took weeks of repair, and I'm so glad I had Tiago and Tony working on it. Their crew was one of THE HARDEST WORKING crew I've ever met. All of them were intelligent, knew what they were doing, were respectful, accommodating, and seriously kicked butt fixing the pipes under my house. They had no choice but to tear out part of our foundation, but, they did such a clean job! It took them weeks, but when they were done, you wouldn't have even known that I had a serious plumbing job done on the house. It was an impeccable clean up! What could have easily been a nightmare was actually not that bad! They were at our house for over two weeks, but their exceptional customer service made it a pleasant experience. I called Drain King as the toilets in the 1943 vintage house were plugging up unusually much. They came out and did a camera inspection of the sewage line under the house. As they ran a camera down the line lots of liquid and a clog about 40ft under the house showed up. This was due to bad rusting of the old, and to some extend leaking, iron piping that were used back in the forties. With some effort they were able to push through the clog and checked the line running into the front yard. They were able to accurately identify misc problems. Unfortunately, it looked really bad. So after having located the main sewage line in the yard outside the house with some nifty sounding device, they dug a hole and discovered broken 70y old clay piping all the way to the road. We decided to replace all the broken piping with modern ABS as it was so cracked up. To do this Drain Kings showed up with a 30 Ton capable hydraulic system that bored/pulled the modern ABS pipe through the 4" clay piping, connecting to the 6" Dia City piping ~ 7ft below the surface. This was great as it did not damage the front yard or driveway. In all it took just 3 days to replace all the vintage piping, including a big section under the house. The whole replacement process was done very efficiently and professionally. It was not inexpensive, though I will venture to say that the pricing is fair. Touch job. Warranty is 25y with a free (camera) inspection in 1y. So yes very pleased to have this taken care of so expediently. read more

We had a major toilet blockage and called a plumber. The plumber told us that the pipes were clogged with roots and broken in places. Later that day, the pipes in front starting backing up with water and really flooding the area in front of our house. We turned off the water and nothing would stop the flooding. Drain Kings came out to our house. The partners, Tiago and Tony, surveyed the problem and determined that the flooding was coming from the city water flow backing up in our pipes. Tiago assured my wife that they would not leave until the problem was under control and the flooding stopped and he was good to his word. They were able to contain the problem after several hours but needed to return to re-pipe long areas of our property. Tiago, Tony and Nshan, and his helper Orlando could not have been more courteous or professional. The full re-piping, with new state-of-the art piping with a fifty-year warranty, took almost a week. The workers, including a young, incredibly hard working young man named Julio, worked literally from early morning until after dark, using lights after dark. At times we had six or seven workers doing digging, re-piping and repairs. That being said, we felt they did an incredible job and would use them again and recommend them highly to anyone else. Our ceiling in the basement had a leak and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We had called a plumber, roofer and a general handyman but no one could find out what was going on. I called the Drain Kings and they came over for an inspection. Tony and Tiago came over and spent a good amount of time trying to find the leak. It was determined that the water was seeping in from the outside of the building. The next day, they opened up the ceiling and walls and found mold in the insides of the walls. Tiago and Tony devised a game plan to tackle this situation. Part one was to take out all the drywall, de-mold and while everything was being worked on, we decided to to re-wire the electricity, put in new flooring and paint. They arranged for a big dumpster and crew to work on our basement. This took about three weeks. Phase two included sealing and weatherproofing the outside of the building. This included re-stucco-ing the walls where the water was seeping in and creating new drainage path to divert water away from the building. This took about two weeks. We also had the old water pipe in the rear of the building upgraded and up to code. Overall, the dust, noise and general construction is never fun but Drain Kings and team did a good job. Well I wrote this review yesterday and I have no idea why it did not post. But let me tell you about my experience with Drain Kings. My family was purchasing a home in woodland hills south of the boulevard. The streets are narrow and filled with trees. As a precaution I decided to do a inspection on the main line to make sure not only the plumbing the house was intact but also the sewer line was fine. My Realtor arranged a plumbing company to come out. We ll what do you know they state that the main sewer line needs to be replaced costing thousands of dollars. Being that we were at the top of our budget already, but knowing we were getting a great deal it put me in a very tough corner. After speaking with my wife we agreed to talk to call another plumbing company and get a second opinion before making our decision, and thank god we did. I would like to start by saying that I can highly recommend Brandon at Drain Kings for his great service and attention to detail. Everyone can appreciate good service. When it comes to finding contractor, good service is in short supply. When I had a recent plumbing issue, I was lucky enough to find a gem of a company that provided me good service in spades. The main drain to my house was clogged and I needed to have it cleared out. Brandon came out and began the hydro jetting process and noticed that there was some leakage coming up through the ground midway to the street. After some investigation, he took a video and showed me where the problem was. Basically, I need a new sewer line, not fun. As you can imagine I had a lot of question and Brandon patiently answered them all. One of my concerns was digging up my entire driveway and lawn but with Drain Kings trenchless system none of that needed to be done. Just two holes were dug and filled in after the job was complete. The service didn't stop once the work started. Brandon keep providing me updates, pictures & videos of the work being performed. I had the best experience with this company and I really feel like I owe it to them to let people know how they treated me. I'm a single dad of 3 and in the middle of a nasty divorce. I was getting the house ready for my kids, who I was supposed to pick up from swimming and bring them back to my house. Around 4:30 my kitchen sink gets backed up. I'm a little concerned cause I'm going to have the kids back at 6 and my sink isn't working. Then I remembered that I had saved a coupon I had received in the mail and it said any drain, 49.00! I grabbed the coupon and called. The nicest lady picked up and I told her my situation. She said she can get someone there between 5-7 and they'd call about 30 minutes before they got there. I told her that I wasn't going to be back with the kids till around 6. She said she'd call the technician and that she'd call me back. It took only a few minutes and she called me back saying that he would be there after 6. I get back at exactly 6, and about 5-7 minutes later, Ramin gets there. I cannot say enough good things about this man. I couldn't have asked for better service! He unclogged my sink, cleaned everything and did it all for 49 bucks! We decided to try Drain Kinds because we saw the Ad to clear a drain on their truck for only $49.00! Well, I thought that must be a catch to get you to call them in, and then the job becomes a lot bigger. Well, that did happen to us, we ended up doing a complete Sewer Drain Re-pipe! It was quite expensive! Fortunately, they have a financing bank associated with them, and Joe, our plumbing contractor, was able to hook us up with complete financing to get this long needed job done. Joe was very polite, very professional, and he also went the extra steps to make us happy. In regards to Joe, I give him a 5-Star review personally because I feel he really cares about his clients. He took photos of the problem with our pipes under the house, he showed us all the old clogged pipes after they were removed, and he took photos of all the new pipes that were installed in their place. He also said, he'd be back once a year to flush the pipes as a free maintenance that is included in our costs for this job; so he really wanted to make sure we understood he considers us his client going forward with a ten year guarantee of their work. i called drain kings due to a known issue with my sewer line and the need to have it replaced. Joe R was assigned as my technician. He was prompt and professional. We discussed different options and elected to proceed with a trench less pipe burst. The crew assigned was really exceptional. During the course of the job we realized that the house plumbing was in worse shape than initially thought and the scope of the project expanded and some additional piping under the concrete slab had to be replaced. Joe gave me some options one of which was for the team to tunnel under the concrete slab and replace the plumbing without destroying the floors. This was the preferred method for me as i had just had the bathroom remodeled. The same team was assigned to do this work and I can't express enough how impressed with the work they did and how fast they did it. Joe's team was really top notch. So after moving in to my new house it took a second to get our laundry machines delivered. Finally that day came and as you could imagine we had a ton to do being a family of 4. After using another plumber to snake a problem drain, we came across Drain Kings because we now needed a complete re-piping of our drain system. Are we glad we didn't go with the other company. NShan and his crew impressed us from the beginning, knowing exactly what we were experiencing, regarding the problems with our drains. My 89 year old father needed drains cleared because of a partial clog with slow draining. The first place that I called was a local business and the rates quoted were $145 for the visit and $135 per branch lines (4 of them) as needed. They did offer a 5% senior discount which made little difference. I then called Drain Kings and spoke with Briana. She quoted less for the complete job than the other wanted just for a visit. She was also able to get Jason to come by within an hour and handle it. My father called me later and advised that Jason had found the problem right away, cleared it up and left. He said that Jason informed him afterward that the job qualified for the basic rate as it was a simple fix. He charged less than half of what I agreed to. They knew that I was willing to pay even more if they identified any additional problems. None found. These people are as honest and as dependable as it gets. After a long day of work and then the gym, I came home to take a nice long shower. As I was taking a shower, I noticed that the water wasn't going down the drain. So I turned off the water, waited a few minutes, and hoped that the water would go down. It didn't, however. So I stepped out of the shower and, after an hour, I went back to check and see if the water had drained. But it was still clogged. That's when I started calling plumbing companies. Every company I called, however, was either busy or ridiculously over priced. So I ended up hopping on Yelp, and Drain Kings caught my eye. When I called Drain Kings, they came out to my house in under an hour and sent 2 technicians. Tiago and his colleague Tony were incredibly helpful and walked me through the problem and what they had to do to fix it. They pulled out a device to clean my drain, quickly cleaned up after themselves, and then, using a bottle of bleach that they asked me for, cleaned my entire shower!
