Had Drain kings come out to my elder moms' house. They quoted $10K to fix the issue. Said it was old pipes that were clogged and needed to be replaced. Long story short, I had 3 other quotes done. All of them were under $200. Just needed a hydro flush which fixed our issue. Justin from Drain Kings came out and he was thorough, informative and a real nice guy. He told me the other estimates were garbage, and then proved why. If you're an owner BEWARE of this company. I chose this company based on reviews and was beyond disappointed. You proport that you are a family owned business and put the customers first, however; you sure don't act like one. Let me begin that in all my years, and I'm old, I have never taken the time to write something negative about any company because I believe that everyone makes mistakes. However, THE DRAIN KING came for a simple plumbing issue and they were cordial and appeared up front to be honest and smart. John, who was the supervisor of my job was a true scam artist. It ended up costing me thousands of dollars which once they started breaking walls and pipes, it was no turning back. I had two other companies tell me they overpriced the job and were skipping necessary work. I felt trapped and with no prior knowledge about plumbing I was helpless. They make there money on big jobs so a small kitchen sink or bathroom clog is cheap to them. They also make their money by convincing you that there is a lot of work required and they sound so believable. That is where they undermined the customer. As a small business owner, I could not afford the fees they charged me for work which was not completed properly. Three stars. Transparent, quality work, and deliver what they promise, but... Can't shake the feeling that I got fucked on the price. 8 grand for a sewer line replacement. That's after negotiating them down 20%. Our nanny got the same thing for $1k, but who knows what corners she cut. Got quoted $5-7 over the phone by the first place I called. They're professional, and fixed the problem without drama (nearly on time). They've got good technology, but they sell the shit out of it. Simple advice: get quotes. Lots of them. If Drain Kings is in the ballpark, then go with them all the way. If not, save your wallet the trauma. read more

The drain kings team came out and was beyond our expectations, they were professional, friendly and most importantly honest. They gave notice to estimated arrival time- and actually meant it! They arrived following CDC guidelines- they were professional among each other- and were really calm and relaxed which helped keep us calm and relax in our dilemma (or what we felt was a dilemma). I honestly didn't think I would be able to get anyone out to fix it prior to the holiday and these guys were very responsive and communicative. Enrique and Felix = DREAM TEAM!! Drain Kings are amazing and they have an amazing crew. I had my toilet leaking water from the bottom and I knew something was wrong. I and told them my problem, I kid you not within 1 min a tech called me saying they were about 30min away. I rushed home from work (took me 10min) and I pulled up they were already waiting!! Right from the start Enrique explained everything we was going do to. upon inspection he noticed something was wrong, My house was built in the 50's so very old pipes. The staff was very responsive in communicating with me to set up a same-day appointment to fix a clogged drain in my condominium that was backing up into my unit. After the first tech discovered that the drain couldn't be cleared by snaking it, they diverted a hydro-jetting crew to my place who came later that day through bumper-to-bumper LA traffic. Our sewer line was back up and I called Drain Kings and they came out immediately to access the situation. They were able to clear the clog and came back the next day with a camera to inspect the full line. I watched as the camera went through the line and found where the pipe was broken. They were able to provide me with several options for repair, walking me through each option. Once we settled on a course of action, they had the job completed within two days. During the work they were very communicative explaining what they were going to do each day, and also made sure that we actually had minimal downtime when they were working on the line. I had a clogged pool drain and called them to snake it out. They were so honest and explained that there was a chance it would damage the plumbing pipes because of all the angles and cheap material.
