Such a wonderful dining experience! Marissa was our server and she was SO wonderful! The restaurant was so neat! I loved the industrial/ wood look. The kids enjoyed their chicken strips and fries. Husband loved his burger! And I enjoyed my appetizer smoked wings & my side order of Caesar salad. By far the best salad I've had! We will be back. read more

Walking into this establishment you are embraced by the most wonderful aromas like a hug from your mother. I enjoyed the decorations and country nostalgia on the walls complemented by the warm light from the awesome Edison bulbs. Our server Tirah was right there to guide us through the dining experience. Had a bridal shower for my niece on the patio with about 30 plus women. I could not have picked a better place to have it. Jennifer is one of the managers and she was amazing! Jennifer and I met a couple of times to work out the details of how the patio would be arranged and what to pick as far as the food went . We ended up doing a smorgasbord of appetizers that were amazing. We had wings , fried pickles, burnt ends , shrimp, cheese boards , chips and dip, queso etc .. . Jessica, Rosie and Iona were all great waitresses! One was serving mimosas, one was waiting on the guest and one had my phone taking pictures of everything so I could enjoy the shower as well. My wife and I (party of 2) came in at 6pm on a Saturday. The place was fairly busy and the patio was booked out for a private event. After sitting down in the waiting area, a second non-reservation patron (single) came in. Despite us being there first, and despite there being single space availability at the bar, the single patron told the hostess that he couldn't sit at the bar because he was alcoholic and connected with the manager over his sobriety. He was promptly seated at a 2-top over us. This complete lack of professionalism and blatant preferential treatment was a complete disgrace... we ended waiting a little while longer before being seated. Suffice to say, it ruined my evening and I won't be back. I'd give them zero if I could - the food might as well have been sawdust after my experience at the front-of-house. read more

Stopped by while traveling. Our table ordered everything to share. The Charcuterie board was fantastic. Loved the inclusion of tortilla instead of a traditional bread. Deviled eggs were tasty, but lacked the mayonnaise taste of homemade versions. Chicken Fried Steak was phenomenal in every way. Definitely get that. My boyfriend and I visited for the first time on a Sunday. The crowd was not too busy when we were seated, but eventually grew by the time we left. Loved the ambiance - Well decorated and a bright, comfortable atmosphere. Our server was very kind by answering our questions about the restaurant and food suggestions. Though i'm sure it may not have been their most famous dish, I had a strong craving for a baked potato, and so I opted for the Rig Hand potato and my boyfriend chose the brisket tacos. My boyfriend gave an immediate yes to the brisket tacos - I didn't even get a chance to try them they were gone so quickly. I asked for the Mac and Cheese on the side for my Rig Hand potato, and I'm glad I did. I wasn't a complete fan of it, but the rest of the ingredients were tasty. Good portions sizes as well. Normally Drakes is our go to location when we are in Weatherford. This time around was disappointing. The blackened red fish was overcooked. My wife got the shrimp &grits. The shrimp was overcooked and grits were a bit too spicy. We also got a mixed drink. The first time around the glass was chipped- the drink was spot on. The second time, the old fashioned seemed to be missing the simple syrup. Don't know if we are going back. read more

Came here for lunch/brunch on a Saturday and no wait line. Food is phenomenal, fairly priced, and generous portions. 1.00 mimosas for brunch! Patio area is super nice with a play area for kids. Pet friendly. I wish they would change the bench seat on the wall though. Not comfortable to sit in as it's too high and makes you lean forward. Only other complaint is the tap water has an awful taste and glasses are very dirty. All food seems to be scratch made. Nicole was our server and took great care of us. GET THE COLONEL BLOODY MARY!!! It was just okay. We finally made it to Drakes Yoke. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. We wanted patio seating but there were no clean tables so we were seated indoors. It took about 10 minutes for a server to stop and ask if we'd been helped yet. She was very nice and took our orders. Food took a while but was presented well. Our server had our main meal split for us - that was nice. The Fried Shrimp and Burnt Ends Small Plate was served on a cool board. Great presentation. The shrimp and the goat cheese were real nice. The single slice of fried green tomato was super greasy. And unfortunately, the cubes of burnt ends were tough and chewy. The 2-Meat Smoke Plate was presented nicely and our server had it split for us - thank you :) We had Ribs and Brisket. Similar to the burnt ends, both the ribs and brisket were dry. That said, the flavor was nice. I really wanted Drakes Yoke to be a better experience for us as they're nearly local to us. That all said, I am sure like all area restaurants, they are short-staffed and this likely contributed to our overall experience. I will give them a rest for now but I will try them again down the road. read more

The Bloody Mary's had good flavor and the Los Vaqueros martini was very good. The Colonel was a meal in its own. Loved the fried green tomatoes that accompanied the Bloody Mary and the Burnt Ends. First of all the decor inside is classic, industrial and comfy all in one. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable we sat at the bar and our bartender was Caden. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable! The manager even made his way over and was very nice and shows he cares for his customers and staff. Which is a +++++! The pie filling was bright, punchy, and deliciously creamy. And to top it all off the toasted meringue was no too sweet and added an extra texture that made this dessert absolutely decadent. The quality and quantity of the food here for the price was fantastic and we will definitely be back. The surrounding area is cute too. Overall a great spot I'd highly recommend.

We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy.
