DAY 1 New place in town 'The District Butcher'. They are in the shopping area behind Drakes Yoke. They are primarily a very clean and neat butcher shop. Awesome looking meats in the cabinets. Not just beef but chicken and a few other meats. Others are in the planning. They also have a small lunch menu. I plan on trying it very soon. It looks good. They quit serving at 2:00. DAYS 2 Different days. 2 different results. I made it to the 'District Butcher' in time for lunch today. So glad I did. The 'Cattle Dog', with house made chili added, was on point. It was on a toasted hoagie roll that really sets it apart. House made chips was an added surprise. Next up .... Chili Bowl or Burger. Decisions. Decisions PS They are in the plaza behind Drakes and next to Springhill Suites.

We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and burnt ends sausage sandwich with house made chips. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back!

Great fresh meat, very well prepared. Look forward to many more visits and getting to know their crew.

High quality butcher shop with delicious burgers and house made potato chips. I highly recommend checking this place out.

The 'chips' however is extremely lacking of any flavor so the second time I subbed them for the mac & cheese. I'm so happy I did as the mac & cheese was delicious. My dinner companion had the fish sandwich with the peanut coleslaw and enjoyed both. We split the Key Lime Pie which was amazing! My lunch companion the second time I visited had the hamburger and enjoyed it immensely. She upgraded the fries to the truffle fries...again the fries were a flop. So really the only complaint about the food so far is their lackluster french fries. Both times I had attentive and friendly servers. We didn't have to wait too long for our food or drinks during each visit. Will definitely visit again.

We have found during peak times, there is usually a long wait so make sure to grab a reservation. We opened up with deviled eggs and calamari. We really enjoyed both. Our entrees were the prime rib dip and the crab cake salad. We highly recommend either of those options. Lastly the Lemon cheesecake was absolutely perfect. I also wanted to get a shout out to Josh for giving great recommendations. Thanks man! Since that first visit, we've been back several times and each experience has been great. Unfortunately it looks like they cycled out the cheesecake (seasonal) but the key-lime pie was also great.

Others had food delivered. one order arrived seamlessly and was brought directly to our table by a staff member, while another friend met her Uber Eats delivery near the entrance. The staff and vendors were busy setting up for a derby event later that afternoon, and it definitely looked like attendees were in for a great time. One thing I love about Saddlerock is that there's always something happening- whether it's a movie night, sculpt sessions, local vendors, or special events. Parking is always the trickiest part of visiting Saddlerock, but once you're parked and settled in, it's such a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere to enjoy a glass or two of wine.

We walked to the back and found the bar, there was also one inside but it was closed. We all opted for wine flights. Back area had some nice live music. Not to loud- just perfect. The view is beautiful. Recommended to call for reservations on the weekends because it gets full and they start putting up reserved signs pretty early. Very good wines and the set up was cute. This was a peaceful girls day, we will be back hopefully sooner rather than later.

The guy that's always at the counter on his computer had the girls around him and never said anything about the state of the tables but chatted them up. Waitress walked up and said "oh, do you want drink refills?" Well, yes. Our food hasn't been delivered and our glasses were empty......sighhhh They were out of pizza boxes so we took home 3 pizzas in 6 styrofoam boxes to take home a cook. Still soggy. Did we get a discount? No. Never returning
