Draper floor folks did an excellent job for us in our kitchen/dining area. We had them remove the hard wood floor and replace it with the tile floor. The hard wood floor in that area warped due to dishwasher leak. The two men crew moved the furniture, install the tile floor and put the furniture back. They did an excellent job. The tile floor merged nicely with the remaining hard wood floor and both look fantastic. I would definitely use them again. Great job guys. read more

I'm not sure where all of these good reviews are coming from, but I certainly wish I had the same experience. Tim and his wife were friendly and helpful with tile selection. The initial crew did a horrible install and Tim agreed to correct it. After tearing everything out and starting over, the second install was noticeably better but still with some significant flaws. I asked that the two poorly cut and very visible tiles be replaced and sent photos to Tim. His response is that it looked fine and I needed to pay the bill. I really like to support local, family owned businesses, but like the big competitors they are not honoring their word or commitments. Tim said he would make it right, he didn't, and now he wants to get paid. Seriously? read more

We stopped into Draper's because of the great Yelp and Google reviews. Tim and his wife were excellent at explaining the different options and in listening to our needs. They were able to match us up with flooring that met our needs (we have kids and pets). They weren't interested in selling us the most expensive options. His team started the job early and finished well within the timeframe discussed. They did excellent work and the attention to detail is impressive. For example, they undercut our fireplace so that the wood for flush underneath it and did not require trim. Tim's communication was excellent. His prices are very fair. His team's work is top notch. Although I have known Tim from High School, he was the first person I called when looking to upgrade from my sad and worn carpet. Tim came to my house, brought several samples. Once deciding on the engineered flooring, Tim went over all that could be added to the price due to the floor not being totally level. I so appreciated his honesty. We are so pleased with our floors and the entire staff at Draper Floors! We knew we wanted to remove the carpet in our home but weren't sure what exact floor to get. The man in the showroom was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the pros and cons of each type of floor. Having young kids and pets, we decided on the glue down vinyl planks. They look amazing! Gabriel & his crew did a great job. They moved the furniture (which included several large pieces - couch, beds, etc) and put it all back once they were done. They explained and showed us what was being done along the way. Tim and Shannon were exceptionally nice and also did a great job of keeping us informed. They are good, honest people. Tim Draper is the BEST there is!!! I was considering ordering a laminate floor, but after a long discussion with Tim about pets/ high traffic he suggested a luxury vinyl. It is the most beautiful floor ever. It is a very rich color and makes my place seem so much more spacious. The installers also did something the people who originally carpeted this area weren't able to figure out - how to lay the carpeting so that both rooms and the connecting hallway were one piece - no seams. My wife and I recently used draper floors to change the carpet in our new house prior to moving in. Tim listened to what we wanted and took the time to help us pick the right carpet for the right price. He also worked with us to coordinate installation within a tight timeframe prior to our move-in. On the day of installation, their install team ran a few hours late but Tim immediately informed me and was apologetic for the inconvenience... I have used Draper flooring twice now. First they replaced my carpet in my upstairs 6 months ago. Price was cheaper than chain stores quoted and quality of pad and carpet were superior. I often receive compliments on how soft my carpet is now. His crew was on time, polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Even added extra nails to floor boards that were squeaky. After that good experience I returned to Draper Floors for a kitchen remodel. They replaced my countertop and backsplash with granite and marble tiles. Got many bids on installing ~1200 sqf of engineered hardwood in our Wylie home and never felt "comfortable" with ability of the companies to answer even my stupid questions I had. Been driving by Draper Floors for years and decided to stop in one day. GLAD I DID! Tim and Beverly know flooring. Price was a little under some and way over others, when asked about the "low ball" bids Tim made it clear why, sub-par material, and that's not what we wanted. Install day, crew came in on time very friendly and I knew they knew what and how to do it. Installers clean up every night, kept me informed on what to expect the next day. Floors went down fast and then it came time for the detail work. This is where the true craftsmanship of Gilbert (our installer) shined. He laid steps and 1/4 round like we was doing it in own home, the attention to detail wowed myself and my wife. I'm picky and couldn't find but one spot (I was pushing it to even find that). Gilbert looked at it and said "no problem I will do it how ever you want" and he did it better then we wanted. (move a transition threshold back 1/2").
