My husband and I are an elderly couple that recently moved into an out-dated home that definitely needed flooring and other updates. My daughter had stopped by Draper Floors and picked up samples of possible flooring. Once selected, Tim personally came to my home measured our floor, and made additional suggestions about how to lay our new "wood look" tile in our kitchen and entry. He worked with me and my moving timeline so that my floors would be ready when my movers delivered my furniture. He sat with us and took the time to talk to us and patiently give us an estimate despite my rather "tight" husband looking over his shoulder. He gave us a great estimate and set his crew into motion. The process was simple and seamless, and the floors turned out beautiful. Shortly after the move I called Tim back to do some additional flooring. He had already measured these floors, as I had mentioned I might want them done later (utility and bathroom). One call made to Tim again took care of this! He and his crew came in, were timely with the install, removed and replaced my washer and dryer and the floor looks beautiful. They went "above and beyond" in my bathroom. They removed the toilet, as expected to place the tiles, then they graciously replaced the toilet with a new one I had purchased, which they did not have to do. To me, this says a lot about Draper Flooring's concern and customer service. I certainly appreciated their doing this, but again I had not expected them to install my new toilet. Tim's concern that two elderly people have functional toilets is going above and beyond, but meant a lot to us. After the installation of each floor, Tim called me to make sure I was happy and confirm that everything was done properly. I was elated with the floors, it was all done beautifully. He even came back to see it for himself. I appreciated his concernin going the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. I plan additional flooring in the future and a bathroom shower remodel, and will most definitely use Draper Floors. I can honestly say my experience with Tim and Draper Floors is worth every star I gave it. From the moment I stepped into his office to the day the install was finished and he was there personally to ensure I was satisfied with the job, I knew I was meeting with a guy who wasn't a glad-hander looking to make a quick buck or two. He was friendly, professional and took the time to really listen to my needs and concerns and gave great suggestions about the different options of flooring that would suit my needs. He definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to floors, and was up front about the cost of labor and materials, as well as any additional costs that could arise since I didn't know the condition of the sub flooring underneath the carpet I was replacing (which ended up being fine and just needing a a few nails to help with creaky floor boards). The guys he hires to install are top notch as well. I could tell they took pride in their work from their professionalism; they even went the extra mile to make sure the things I had in the apartment were protected and wouldn't get damaged. Additionally, my install involved having to take the base boards off and on once the flooring was down, and I was a little nervous about that as I wasn't sure how it would end up looking. I shouldn't have worried; they took the time to seal along the bottom ridge with caulk that blends in with the base board. Everything meshed so well together, you can't even tell the boards were removed! Overall, I am 100% satisfied. I cannot recommend Draper Floors enough. We've recently had the pleasure of using Draper Floors services and we couldn't be more happy. Being a working class family, with not a whole lot of extra to work with, finding a reliable, affordable floor company was really important to us. We researched a few places beforehand were not all that impressed. But from the moment we met 'Mr. Tim' we knew we found our company! He explained everything...from the types of wood, to what it takes to care for a wood floor, the difference in cost, etc. We previously had a multi-floor (some wood, stained cement, etc) and wanted a nice consistent clean look. He helped us select the best floor that would meet our needs without going above our budget. He didn't try to upsell a more expensive product which was really important to us. Throughout the install process he and his team kept us updated on the progress. He maintained constant communication which was greatly appreciated. I made this account just to post a review for Draper Floors. I just recently moved from San Antonio and finally got a house! It's about 10 years old and was ready for some new carpet. I'm a horrible planner (I know Mom). I ended up contacting Draper floors Wednesday night, needing carpet installed Friday morning. Everything worked out great, they bent over backwards to help me. The installer showed up on time and did an amazing job. The seam in the carpet doesn't appear to exist. I went walking around where I knew for a fact it was (6 inches from the wall in this case), and I just couldn't find it. I had the installer show me where it was. Impressive work. After the installer made sure I was satisfied, he left - not before sweeping up and vacuuming any residual mess from the install. Less than 10 minutes later, the owner of the company is calling me to make sure everything went great. I tell him absolutely! Then today - letter in the mail from Draper Floors, basically just making sure I was 100% satisfied with the install. What can you say about a company this dedicated? We needed to repair our hallway flooring (bamboo) which had succombed to a couple of slab leaks. We needed to have someone rip it out and replace it with a different kind of wood. The job was challenging because the installer was going to need to try and transition the floor from the hallway into the living room without doing a t-mould (if possible). We had looked around at many local places. No one we visited carried a color that would match. Our last stop, on the day we were visiting showrooms, was Draper Floors. It was storybook. Tim Draper had the perfect match of flooring (maple) and we scheduled an installation. He answered all of our questions and his team of installers were prompt, clean, thorough, skilled, knowledgeable, polite and I would hire this company in an instant for my next job. Tim Draper of Draper Floors installed 3 bathroom floors & Hardwood Floors. I didn't think excellent customer service existed anymore, boy, was I wrong. From the office staff to the installers, they were beyond excellent. They were very efficient, polite, clean and very respectful. I had tons of questions, and I could always call Tim and he would answer everyone, even if they were dumb questions. Tim even came to my house several times to make sure the job was being done well. My house was as clean after the installers left, as it was before they started. They even touched up things that they did not need to, fixing cuttings on my carpet from former plumbers, staining & painting patches, from us dinging the walls years ago. I can't praise them enough, they went above and beyond. Plus, I have beautiful floors, which Tim even assisted me with (I couldn't make a decision) I can't wait to use them again. read more

I recently had all the floors in my house replaced by Draper Floors. Tim and his crew did a fantastic job -- tat a very competitive price, and my new floors look beautiful! I previously had all tile floors in my house, so the process of removing the tile was quite dusty, which Tim and his crew kept to a minimum and then did a great clean-up job when they were finished. They were very careful with my furniture in moving it around as they worked in different areas of the house and in keeping it covered to protect the finish from dust, etc. Tim was very professional and easy to work with and also was very particular about the finished product and made sure that any caulking or molding was well-matched with the floors and new baseboards. The Draper team was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in helping us decide which floors were best for our situation, and which styles looked best for our home. They spent time to explain the pros and cons of each flooring type, and walked us through the price of each of their products. Their installation team was quick, efficient and profession. Tim and his crew did an outstanding job on our kitchen countertop and backsplash, including the bar countertop and the bathroom vanity countertop. They came when they were supposed to, and did excellent workmanship. The tiles for the backsplash in the kitchen needed to be cut just right to fit, and they did a great job on it. The biggest thing for us, other than it looks awesome, is that they communicated with us regularly on questions we had, and took care of \small cosmetic items that needed attention while doing the work. We had Draper Floors install LVP flooring. Mr. Draper took the measurement we went by the shop to get samples, made our choice av scheduled our installation. They had a cancelation and showed up a week later. The service was outstanding. The installers communicated well throughout the process. The end result is excellent. Trim work is all tight and looks great. The floors look really good. Aside from dust (we had a good amount of tile removed) the house was clean and the furniture was back in place. Mr. Draper was there at the end of work and went through the house with me. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost estimated. All in all a great experience. read more

They were the only company that let us take sample boards home for several days to decide which floor we liked best with the rest of the colors in our home. After negotiations with other companies, Draper Floors gave us the best price for the exact same product from the other companies. AMAZING! We initially went to Draper Floors because of the great reviews they had received on the Internet, but we were hooked once we met Tim and his wife. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest from the very beginning. We went on vacation for a week and trusted them with our home. Best decision ever! We came back to beautiful engineered hard wood floors on the entire first floor (except bathrooms).
