Sunday afternoon visit, here is what we liked: * The smell walking to the door- smoky in a good way. * Seat yourself, tables were open. * Waiter made some great menu recommendations. Really sold the special of the day. * Special of the day was turkey burnt ends served on fingerling potatoes. These were 10 stars amazing good. * Good variety of beers. * Chicken bacon tacos were good- something different. What could of been better: * Service was just a little slow. They made up for it in friendliness, and it wasn't slow as in bad. Just not quick enough between check ins. * Fried pickles were just ok, nothing special. Overall cool little place with some good food and beers. Would do again

Draught horse Brewery is our favorite restaurant for a reason! The food is exceptional and the beer is great! I have never had bad food while here and it is evident that they truly care about the dining experience they provide. I cannot rave enough about the quality of the food here

Best ever mac and cheese! I added bacon and spinach and topped it with garlic breadcrumbs.

Don't you love unexpected finds? One of my favorite places to go and unwind and be in nature is Kensington Metropark. Who knew that this fun and delicious brewery was so close to the park?! We spent the last nice weather Saturday at the park and were starving when we left, plus we were looking for a place to catch the U of M game so I turned to Yelp for some suggestions. So glad we found this place! Not gonna lie, the mac and cheese is what sold me. We sat at the bar for a better view of the TV's and for some guidance on the menu. Both bartenders were so helpful! I tried the apple mimosa and it was very good. That build your own mac and cheese was every bit as good as I hoped it would be. And the chicken wings paired perfectly. I think we found a new favorite hang out for our afternoon visits to Kensington and I couldn't be more happy!

Did i just leave this place with a case of beer... ok it looked like a case but i have four growlers. Lol! Don't judge me! I literally was driving on the freeway, show the sign and came in. I most be the luckiest person that day because their growler were 1/2 off - i'm not totally a beer drinker but i do like the explore favors. I literally told the bartender (which was super cool and patient) to picked me 4 different kinds - she asked a few questions and told me what she picked. Yup that was easy. I will say she did good - i wasn't made at her selection when i got home. None were my favorite but at the same time none were nasty so i'm happy with the results. She know her stuff - i think i'll be back to try some flights with friends. - Due covid limited seating (of course) but you have options of inside, patio, and tent (i believe). Happy Drinking!!!

These guys have been rocking through the various levels of shut down and restrictions that COVID has presented. Service in and for takeaway has been great. Growlers continue to be half off everyday. Food has been improved and wonderful, especially Taco Tuesday and the variety of the weekly special fillings they offer. Build your own mac and cheese is a hearty staple and favourite of my guests. I love the vegetarian tacos and bbq chicken flatbread myself for entrees. Salads are also fresh and tasty. The lobster taco, a special thai veggie, and the fajita style are among my faves for taco Tuesday when you can choose by the taco instead of sticking with a single plate of 3.

Enjoying a great summer day with family, excellent beer and fantastic food!

Great place to chill and relax with good beers & good food! The family (5 kids ranging from 6- 4 months) ended up outside at the picnic table near the cornhole. This worked out beautifully...under a cool big tree and very nice. Oh yeah and the beer was EXCELLENT, from the porter to the IPA to the watermelon lager. Try them all. Service was great too. Just walked up to the bar and never had to wait more than a minute. Just a bit hard to find, (coming from out of town) but just make sure you don't pass the first traffic circle by. ENJOY !

Stopped here on the way home from Kensington Park for a quick bite and was very happy with this place! Large selection of beers on tap and a solid food menu. Our server was quick and kind. The wings were fantastic alone and did not need any sauce. Fries were great and I think hand cut in house!

Love the family activities these guys plan throughout the year. Minnie just made a pinwheel for my daughter and she loved it, and of course it's pink ;)

They have a wide knowledge of brewing, grapes, and go out of their way to make sure each customer feels taken care of. This is the place for top notch customer service. It is an adorable barn feel with an inside sitting area, an outdoor space, and a loft where you can listen to music or see some comedy. They have a very extensive variety of wines and a nice beer list that goes from light, to fruity, to IPA, to dark. I loved the ability to be able to have small portions of beer and wine so I could sample a lot without feeling sick from drinking too much. They offer they drinks in a two ounce size, then two larger glass sizes. The prices of the drinks are pretty good as well. They have a small menu of food. We tried the pizza and it is not bad for a tasting room, but not too over the top. The price on the pizza was not bad, especially with prices these days. They also have a mixed drink menu that was quite extensive. The prices on those drinks were fairly good as well. They told us their espresso martini was the best in the area. I would tend to agree, probably the best in the area, but for me, not the best overall. To be honest we have been doing an espresso martini tasting tour around the US and there is a lot of competition, but it is definitely something to try here. I would try a rum drink personally next time, since their tropical drinks sounded delicious. The beer game in Michigan is also pretty stiff competition. We do live in a state where we have one of the top cities for beer world wide. But since they do offer about eight flavors, there is something for everybody here. This place is a really fun time to hang with friends and family.

Patio outside for those warm days. They offer beer, cider, wine, spirits... you name it. We went with a few beers and they were great. Menu is clearly labeled with sours containing lactose. Love when it's easy to spot. Food menu has loads of vegetarian options with a small few that could be vegan. We only ordered the spent grain pretzels with mustard and they were delicious. They do have tofu or Beyond burgers to sub on the burger menu if you're vegan. Carnivores have loads of options here. Although I only have a very small percentage of Irish in me, I'm celebrating full on and love anything with corned beef! We went on Thursday figuring it would be the least busy of the 4 days, and let me tell you the dinner crowd was hopping. We snagged the last 2 spots at the bar and ordered. I'm not a beer drinker but I appreciated they had 2 rotating taps for hard cider and went with a lemon flavored cider (sounded intriguing and could have went either way so I appreciated the small sample). I actually really liked it and am bummed I forgot to ask who makes it. We both thought the Irish nachos sounded fun and different and when we asked we found out they were huge and could easily feed 2 people. I'm so glad we decided to try something different.
