The Ambiance was lacking , big windows along one wall but the other section was closed so couldn't look in there. It was sit yourself down and we had to pass couple tables to find a clean. The waitress took our drink order and mixed them up on delivery. They weren't busy and 2 were working the floor. Placed our order and was asked if we wanted our soup before the meal. I ordered broccoli and cheese soup that had small noodles in it. My main was sirloin tips with mushrooms and potato wedges. I had cherry crumble pie for dessert. read more

Stepping in to Dravenstott's is like stepping back in time. The vintage layout was very comfortable and the staff was so friendly. The soup and salad bar was maintained and kept very tidy as well as being refilled regularly. The food here was very good with plenty of options to choose from. We will definitely be back here when we are grabbing another meal in town. read more

This seems like a senior citizen type of restaurant. They have a nice salad bar, that includes good soup. But, the meals are average.

I'm not sure where to even start with this review. We literally chose to purposely come here because my husband's coworker had raced about it. After eating here, I'm certain there must have been some miscommunication about which restaurant they meant, because this place was pretty awful. The only thing keeping this from being a one-star is the service. The boy that served us was attentive, kind, helpful, and friendly. The food... I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was $12. I assumed it came with fries... it did not. It came with nothing, and was the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger. To compare, a gourmet burger with endless fries at Red Robin is $10. We got the pickles to start and the batter was bland so all it tasted like was hot pickles. So gross. Salad bar was nothing spectacular and soups were disappointing... the bread bar was also unappealing and lackluster. My husband ordered the Swiss Steak and said it should be renamed the Sahara Steak bc it was DRY snd lacked any flavor. My son got the shrimp kids meal and it came with five little shrimp... he was so hungry after eating them and expecting more. I don't know... locals seem to love it but it's a hard pass for me to come back. The interior is in desperate need of upgrades and the overall experience was disappointing. The bill came and it was $58 for the four of us... two kids and two adults. Swiss Steak + salad bar Bacon cheeseburger + salad bar 4 sodas Kids shrimp + salad bar Kids tenders + side fries Fried pickles This was more than our typical dinner at Outback. Wife and I stopped for a late lunch, I ordered the fish sandwich with a side of onion rings. Both were very good, hot and had a lot of flavor. Wife ordered the chipped ham sandwich that was okay. Normally like Dravenstotts but not tonight. Our waitress said to ask for only one side not two and it will be cheaper. We also ordered the salad bar. Our waitress came over said she was leaving and gave us to another. She was nice too Upon receiving the bill it was not cheaper So I inquired. The staff just stood there offering nothing total quiet After awkward minute my wife said to forget it and we paid. Very surprised at the wrong information provided in verbal from the waitress and the total lack of care from the staff. The real problem is I beg the family to go there. They hate the place. Good place to eat in Orrville, OH is this Restaurant!! They are known for their salad And dessert bar! Also they have plate dinners, many sandwiches, and just stop in for a refreshing drink!! They have their own parking, restaurant has a diner section and a more stylish restaurant section. Bathrooms are clean and basic. Food is always good and fresh. We have been there many times over the years. Great relaxing drive either by route 30 or back Orville road! They have a drive up section for summer time. Usually busiest on Sunday Afternoons. I have been there a handful of times and have enjoyed every visits. I oftentimes treat myself to a Big D Burger. I make some substitutions and add the best parts of the Steak Burger. I use the bigger patties from the steak burger, along with the rye bun from it as well. Top that off with a basket of fries and a milkshake and you are all set. If you want to go all in and get a nice full belly you can add the soup and salad bar to your meal. The Broccoli Cheese Soup is delicious! Terrible food with service to match. I went with a cousin who said this place was good. It was Friday late afternoon during lent and we saw they had a fried fish special. She said it would be good. We both ordered it. Right away the server brought a big soupy bowl of Cole slaw and in just two or three minutes we had our fish and fries. The fries were frozen fries dropped in hot oil, but not for long enough, so they were not warm all the way through. The fish was straight out of a frozen box. I tried three bites of it but the third was gray and tasted like bitter ground up paper. There were two other tables in the whole place, but the server avoided coming to our table for over ten minutes. We finally had to call her over. When we told her we were expecting a very different kind of fish she said that kind did not start until 4:00 pm. It was 3:56 pm. She asked if we wanted to see a menu. We said we did. She asked if we wanted to see a manager and we said we did. A manager came out, she was not dressed professionally at all. She was also not friendly. I guess she was there to repeat what the server had already told us. Then she said we could have just told our server and she would have taken care of it. What? We DID tell our server. She acted like we were stupid for wasting her time talking to us. Nobody there cared at all about our food or service. As we were ready to leave I got stomach cramps and ran to the bathroom. I was stuck in there for over five minutes with a stomach attack. My cousin was fine. Then we got to our next stop two minutes away and she had to run to the bathroom twice with an identical stomach attack. I'm blaming this awful establishment. It's the only thing we'd eaten the same. This is my boyfriend and I's favorite date night spot. It's very quiet and they have an amazing soup and salad bar. I love this place a lot because it reminds me of my family's old restaurant that's no longer in business. If you want a home style meal Dravemstott's is the place to go. They have an excellent soup an salad bar. I would highly recommend the chicken noodle soup. It's one of the best I've ever had.
