This plumbing company has come out to my condo now 4 times in the last couple of years and I highly recommend them. Always quick and do a great job. Chad was polite and professional and quick. Thanks so much! Sure it was expensive but it was done really well.

In September 2024, Z Plumbers installed a Navien tankless water heater in our home. What followed…read morewas 16 months of ignition failures, cold showers, and a crash course in troubleshooting a device they clearly had no business installing. The unit failed to ignite almost immediately. Their first diagnosis: not enough gas. I had just upgraded my gas meter with DTE, so that didn't sound right - but let's investigate. Their fix months later? Install a pressure regulator because too much gas was coming in. Then in September 2025, they replaced the control valve and other components. Still broken. By December 2025 they removed the very regulator they had installed earlier that year. I honestly started to wonder if they were just throwing parts at it to see what stuck. The real highlight? Every time my wife tried to shower, I had to reset the unit. It got so predictable that I eventually installed a camera and a home automation system so I could reset it remotely. After 5 visits, hours on the phone with Navian, and 5 failed attempts to resolve the issue, my tankless heater "upgrade" became an IoT project, a topic of frequent dinner discussions, and source for frequent profanity-laced screams as my wife was hit with freezing water in the shower. Don't get me wrong; they tried. It wasn't a lack of effort, rather a lack of know-how. In March 2026, a different plumber came out for an unrelated issue. I mentioned the water heater problem. His Navien specialist came out a few weeks later and -- I want to be precise here -- identified five major installation errors in under 60 seconds. Armed with this additional information, I gave Z Plumbers a final opportunity to make it right. They never responded. I paid the new plumber to fix the mess, and the unit has worked flawlessly ever since. I can run multiple faucets simultaneously with no loss of volume or temperature. It's like having a new water heater -- because effectively, we do. Bottom line: Z Plumbers may be fine for standard plumbing work, but tankless water heaters are a different animal. Based on everything I experienced, I'm convinced they do not have the training or expertise to properly install or troubleshoot these systems. Do yourself a favor and find a better installer. You'll thank yourself every morning.

I must say I am thoroughly impressed with this company. We moved into our house last year in July,…read morethe previous owners lived here for almost 30 years with cats. I was hesitant to do an air duct cleaning as a lot of people say it's a scam. I can whole heartedly say it is definitely not. I reached out a few weeks ago and was waiting to make an appointment, I have a young baby and needed family to sit for me as I was worried about dust for her. I got a call this morning asking if I was still interested as they had a last minute opening and could give us a good deal and man was it a good deal! There was some dust so I'm definitely glad I had my mom baby sit. The gentlemen who did the cleaning were awesome! They took the time to clean each register, took off their shoes and were actually quite quick I think all said and done it took a little over an hour! Additionally to prove to myself that it "worked" I took before and after photos from the same vent. They did also show me the area they removed to access and it was equally gross. I'm so glad they had a last minute opening and gave me a call! I think for the size of my house and the price they gave it was a great value for such a big house. They cleaned up nicely after, I do have a little vacuuming to do but nothing out of the ordinary. Very professional and responsive to questions. The technicians were also knowledgeable, and let me know cat dander can live up to 20 years in your vents! Gross! But also so good to know. Thank you power vac!

However, weDry Restoration were much more attentive, better priced, did a much better job, and were friendlier. They were very understanding to the needs elderly parents's flooded basement the area recently had. My parents are in their 80's, and, could not have been more happier with weDry Restorations, and neither could I.

The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company. However, if Amy and Mikes work ethic are a reflection of weDry Restoration and the rest of their team and services, then I would say they are an outstanding company and believe that other companies should take a page from their book.
