I have bounced around to different Fort Lauderdale salons after moving here 5 years ago and couldn't quite find a perfect fit with the dozen or so places I have tried out. I wanted an easy low maintenance blond (yes I know, no such thing with blond), and Tomy came through. I came in with three layers of color- dark roots about 2 inches long, bleached muddy blond through the middle and orange ends. It was a disaster grow out. I had a consult with Markie for blonde highlights and to blend in my roots but since Markie couldn't do highlights at the moment, she deferred me to Tomy. I didn't know I was in for a treat. I showed Tomy pics of what I wanted and he insisted that the color I wanted would wash me out and that I would not be happy with the maintenance since I wanted low maintenance. Initially, I was disheartened but I can appreciate his honesty and after he explained what he thought would work better for me yet achieve something close to what I was looking for. I thought I came in for a consult but he worked me in between his clients so that he could show me what he could achieve yet still make me happy. Mind you, the salon was super busy but the man is a multitasking genius! He did a toner and root scrape while Markie did my haircut and Yasleen did my blowout. Did I mention that my color was a disaster? Well, 2 hours later, what was flat and orange and 3 different colors was now bright, golden and well blended. My dark roots melted into the blond so seamlessly, you would think Michelangelo painted it himself. I absolutely love the results!

I have thin hair and she was able to do a really nice style with it. She asked questions about my hair care routine and offered tips. She was friendly and held a lovely conversation the entire time. I highly recommend her. The salon was excellent. The owner offered drinks, the chairs reclined with leg rests, and they offer incentives to keep you coming back. I'm surprised it took me 16 years to stumble on this place. I will definitely be back. I did try to go back this May on a Saturday before 5pm, but they were apparently closed. The door was open and there were people inside, but when I walked in the lady yelled at me what do you want. I guess I caught them at the wrong time. I'll have to try again.

Well ladies and gentlemen...this is it. I've waiting some time to post this review so that I can have several experiences to speak from. 1- Called for a color, haircut and blow-dry a few months ago. RJ gave me the low down on how they work. Main goal--hair health. How refreshing right? They are more invested in my hair than even me. They will not operate unless the hair is healthy. I came in she inspected my hair and prescribed the following: cut off all my dead dried brassy orange hair and 3 oloplexes prior to dye day. That day I received a great haircut and one of the best blowdrys everrr. I felt so glamorous. 2- Dye day-- this women took her timeeee. She painted my hair yall with every stroke she was patient and percise. I was none the less very happy with my new hair color. Of course, concerned with the health of my hair I had another round of oloplexes and Shanece (their apprentice) does a great job of doing as well as recommending great products and things to do with your hair at home to keep it healthy and beautiful. Ps. I only like when Shanece does my oloplexes. And it may seem like a simple job but I think you need to be good at product placement and letting me know what's the status of my hair and what it's lacking. Thank you Shanece. 3- Availability/booking-- making appointments is a one of a kind experience here. We text and we call. RJ is so amazing at this. There have been times where I need to get in or need to make a last minute appt and we will go back and forth with our schedules until it's done and she doesn't even seem phased by it. Who does that?? She will make sure she makes it happen and that does not go unnoticed. BS hairshop cares. They care about their clients, they care about hair and they care about outcomes. Im about that life. More-- they also tools and products for purchase. Bought my amazing brushes from here. Furthermore more they offer blow dry classes! Which I am going to book very soon. I paid $400 for a treatment that was promised to last much longer, using Ybera Paris products as advertised. Less than two months later, my hair is already curling again. This product is meant to last 6 months!!! clearly the treatment did not hold up at all. I even bought the recommended shampoo and conditioner by Marcela to maintain the results, but it made no difference. When I confronted Marcela about the fact that she likely never used the Ybera Paris products I paid for, she blocked my number completely. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also dishonest and deceptive. Bella Donna Hair salon is promoting and charging for premium products they are NOT using, which is outright fraud and a breach of trust. I tried to resolve this amicably, but after being ignored and then blocked, I'm left no choice but to take legal action. I am now filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and the official Ybera Paris distributors to expose this scam and protect other clients from being ripped off. DO NOT trust this salon if you want honest service and real results. Beware. Make sure they mix everything in front of you!!! Tell them you want to see the product!
