Amazing vegetarian spot on the Oregon Coast! Looked up vegan/vegetarian spots to try on the Oregon Coast and Green Salmon was one of the most frequently mentioned! Small parking lot in the front of the restaurant with street parking available as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We arrived around 2pm on a Thursday and the restaurant was still pretty busy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy vibe - lots of posters, trinkets, and different varieties of teas and tarot cards for sale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is a mix of indoor tables and booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Sacred Cow Reuben and it was ready within 10-15 minutes. Sacred Cow Reuben (5/5): Very hearty! Salad tasted fresh and I liked the cranberries in it. The sandwich itself was humongous. The grilled tempeh was seasoned well and paired nicely with the thousand island dressing, pickles, and onions on the side. All in all, a tasty meal. Even if you're not vegan/vegetarian, I would still recommend checking out Green Salmon! Nice ambiance and great food - worth the stop.

Ordered blueberry pancakes and vegan bacon. The pancake had a nice crisp edge around it. The bacon wasn't too bad either. All in all, very filling!

this was such an amazing little cafe!!! I got the neptune plate and it was absolutely delicious, definitely a fan of the caviar and being able to assemble my own bagel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]me and my friends had such a great time using the tarot cards while we wait[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and i highly recommend visiting here on your next coastal trip! service was wonderful as well!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was so cool, not to mention the vibes of the customers was serene as hell.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Workers were silly and full for whimsy. Got the ALT wrap with the fake bacon and was pleasantly surprised ! i love Pepperonchinis too so i was SO HAPPY about them. mind you i was dying of hunger on this little roadtrip me and my friends took to the coast so i was revived! [[HIGHLIGHT]]fun oracle and tarot cards all around to entertain yourselves too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Entertainment at your table while you wait!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere and vibe is rustic, cozy, and unique.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While waiting in line there are items you can browse that fit with that overall theme. I was just wanting something warm to drink after beachcombing and went with the hot cocoa made with your choice of milk and their vegan whipped cream. As a non-vegan I couldn't tell the difference, it was delicious! Would return to try food in the future!

I really like this spot and my wife positively loves it. We've been here a few times. The drinks are great; I really enjoyed my peach oolong tea. The folks working here are very nice and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's fairly rustic but it feels authentic here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can be a bit of a wait so keep that in mind. If you like a lox bagel give the vegan caviar one a try. I had heard of this seaweed based caviar substitute and was intrigued; it was pretty good on its own but all together with the other accoutrements it was fantastic.

During my most recent weekend in Yachats, The Green Salmon was my favorite business I visited during those 48 hours. I had breakfast here on both weekend mornings. I feel like the best way to explain why I love it here is to post a bullet point list. Here you go: - As soon as you walk in there is a land recognition message for the Indigenous Peoples of this area. - The pastries are not only massive in size and yumminess, they are all plant based?!? During my visits I had their maple croissant, almond croissant, and the blueberry/lemon scone. All exceptional. - [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are a tarot card store at the same time of being a cafe. I'm not really into tarot but the cards at each table provided nice entertainment while we nomed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - I ordered their breakfast sandwich with the tofu scramble on an everything bagel for both mornings. yum. yum yum. - On Saturday morning we were able to order and get a table with no problem. However, on Sunday, I believe due to the farmers market, there was a line out the door to order. It was a bit of a wait. But well worth it.

The coffee here is delicious!! The pastries are very tasty, especially for being vegan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We love the welcoming, warm and colorful ambiance here--truly feels like you've stumbled on a local gem with the various plants everywhere and light-filled windows and booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We are not vegan, so we missed having eggs for breakfast, but if we were, I don't think vegan breakfasts and pastries get much better than this. Morning Glory in Eugene can rival this place, but it is a wonderful stop if you're visiting the coast.

The breakfast sandwiches were yummy! My Mom let me try hers. Avocado toast was so delicious. My daughter had the iced tsunami coffee and it was amazing. She loved the chocolate croissant: The service was quick and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We like to come here often.

Mainly Vegan and vegetarian lunch options like wraps and sandwiches. Delicious choices of smoothies, coffees and teas. Order at the counter and your name will be called when it is ready. We split a wrap with avocado, cucumber, tomatoes and microgreens, with chips and olives. It was delicious. We also had an orange cranberry scone which was huge and filling and yumm. My coffee with sprinkle of black salt over some whipped cream and. Cocoa was amazing. Very pleased indeed.

    So scary.

I'm not vegan but thought I'd give this coffee/cafe a shot since it's next door to the thrift stores I frequent. The service was great. Warm, friendly, fast. A friend of mine is in a clean diet and was ecstatic to have an opportunity to splurge and keep on her healthy journey. I went with my usual coffee, (vegan) creamer and raw sugar. The two additions to my coffee were new and I'm not quite sure if I liked it. I finished it, so it wasn't revolting. I'll have to give it a second try and maybe get more adventurous with my order. The food looked amazing and good portion sizes, so I fully intended to head back for lunch. They're closed Tuesday and Wednesday, so it'll have to wait until Thursday.

If you're from the Portland metro area and visit the coast, this is a nice place to try out. The portions were generous. The pancake order comes with four, and they are BIG. The potatoes were cooked with onion, which gives them a nice taste. The bacon also had a great texture; usually, when you try new diners, the bacon tends to be more squishy. If you're not a fan of that, then this bacon is for you!The biggest surprise was their sourdough toast. It had a crunchy crust, a fluffy inside, and great taste--you can definitely tell it's made from scratch every day! Overall, the staff was great. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't much room; I'd say it holds about 40 to 50 people. Most dishes are around the $15-$20 mark, but for the generous portions and great taste, Hilltop Cafe Bistro is a 9.1/10!

Service was friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. I liked my spinach salad. It was huge so I grabbed a to go box for the rest. This is right on the main road and it can be a little tricky to leave the parking lot and when it is busy I suspect it is hard to get a parking spot here. They have a lot of tasty sounding menu items so I would definitely consider trying this place again when I'm next in the area.

They also had chocolate and taffy, which my daughter got a small bag of their cotton candy salt water taffy. We ordered some ice cream for the kids, cotton candy, and by then there was a long line of people behind us. There were two teenagers working and the one helped us get the ice cream and check us out. The kids ate some of the cotton candy ice cream but didn't finish it all. May have been too cold and windy outside to enjoy it since that was the only place to eat it. I thought it was creamy and sweet but nothing special. I got the huckleberry cheese cake and wish there was more cheesecake pieces in it. They have quite a variety of candy options, including homemade fudge and chocolates. They also have a cotton candy machine. They offer coffee beverages and souvenirs as well as ice-cream. I ended up purchasing some taffy, which was really good. They have many flavors...cookies & cream, cotton candy, strawberry banana, lemon meringue, vanilla, watermelon, cherry, black licorice, hot cinnamon (super hot), coconut, peppermint, chocolate, huckleberry, buttered popcorn, caramel swirl, pomegranate, tangerine, apple pie, green apple, chocolate caramel mocha, raspberry lemonade and frosted cupcake. We enjoyed all flavors except hot cinnamon and watermelon. Both were way too overpowering with flavor. I also bought some of the homemade Peanut Butter Explosion fudge. It was so good! Perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate fudge. Overall I was impressed with this candy store. Everything was fresh, prices were reasonable, and service friendly. Would definitely recommend.
