This cute little coffee kiosk beckoned us on our way out of Yachats after our visit to the farmer's market on our way home to Lincoln City. We irdered two iced Mexi Mocha's, one soy, both with whip, and a chocolate chip pecan scone. She started to hand me a hot mocha and startled, I said " oh we ordered iced!" I would have accepted the hot ones but it was a warm day and we were already hot. They remade the mochas but were noticeably unhappy about it. The total was $19.something and I gave them $24. The scone was pretty delicious, light and sweet. Yum. The mochas had a LOT of chile pepper in them.and my son said it burned his throat. My mouth tingled. A lot. Sadly we did not drink much of them. If spice is your jam you will like them. We expected more of a cinnamony type Mexi mocha so that was quite a surprise. The chocolate covered espresso bean was a nice touch. This place was so good! We stayed just down the road at the Adobe Resort and Village Bean was the perfect place for us to start our day. Their menu is extensive, baristas so nice, and drinks and food AMAZING! It's drive thru only, and there is one line of cars and your order is taken when you get to the window to prepare for a small wait. I got a sea turtle one day and gooey caramel latte the next day. Both were a little sweet for me, but still good! I probably could've gotten it less sweet if I had asked. To eat, I can't recommend the scones enough. I wish I stumbled upon this place on my first day in Yachats, not my last. The employees are so nice and welcoming. I ordered a gooey caramel latte and mmm mmm. This place gets major credit for being the only coffee shop open in Yachats as I headed out to hit low tide around 7:30am. I spied this beacon of caffeine as I headed up to Smelt Sands and my heart leapt! I was warmly greeted by a very kind woman who whipped up a delicious hazelnut latte for me in no time. We had a very nice exchange about my plans for the day, and I told her I was very thankful to find them open. This isn't a fancy "artisanal" coffee place, if you're into that thing specifically. But they will absolutely make you a perfectly good latte with the flavor of your choice and send you off with a smile. And, most importantly, they are open at 7am on Tuesday. I'm a coffee addict, so when I stayed in Yachats as part of a Oregon road-trip-- I needed to make sure coffee was nearby. First experience, incredible. The barista was single handedly one of the nicest most genuine souls! She even made suggestions. I got a simple latte, but oh my. The coffee was sooo good. You can taste that it's roasted to perfection. I could've floated away at that moment and been okay with it. Not to mention how adorable the vibe is there! This is a small shack that offers drive through for some coffee and bakery items. There is no indoor seating, but there are a couple of benches in the area. We got here at 9:30 on a Sunday and the drive-thru must've had about 5 cars. We waited over 30 mins in the line to get some coffee and bakery items, which seems excessive. I think they need to get a better system of ordering + waiting for your item, as you have to stay at the window until your items are ready. As for our items, we got dirty chais with some muffins and a scone. Everything was overly sweet, and I'd recommend getting half sweet on your drink for normal levels of sugar. The scone was nice, but the muffins seemed like they were from Costco. The prices were also very high, higher than Starbucks! Next time, I'd opt for a place that has more variety in sweet and savory, and potentially faster service. read more

I also like that this place opened earlier than a lot of other places in town so we could get our coffee when we usually have it. Stopped here while taking a road trip along the coast, and had the best coffee-related drink of the ENTIRE vacation (possibly my life)! My husband ordered a filthy dirty chai (the name alone!) and I don't even like coffee, but I could have drank an entire cup of it myself. Within the past year and a half I have become the ultimate coffee snob and my partner along with me (someone who used to never drink coffee); when I tell you this place is GOOD, I'm not kidding. We pulled up to the cutest little drive through home with a beautifully decorated menu and my eyes darted between all the drinks. I settled on their caramel banana latte and my partner the gooey caramel latte, as well as two scones, one cheddar bacon and one chocolate chip. I can't even express to you how delicious everything was. It wasn't overpowering or too sweet, the espresso was perfectly roasted and the oatmilk didn't take over any of the other flavors either (yes, we got oatmilk, were not savages). And bonus, you get a little chocolate covered espresso bean with every drink. I wish I could drag this charming place back to LA so I can obsess over it regularly. YOU WONT REGRET IT! read more

If you have a hankering for a coffee beverage look no further. I consider myself a coffee snob, connoisseur, or some might say addict, so I think I'm a pretty good judge of a cup of good brew! This location has taken a kiosk to the nth-cuteness factor! It's located right off the road. It backs up to the ocean, so it's really a sublime locale! They offer a drive through, which if there's more than a couple cars in line, can cause a slight back-up. They have an inside seating option too, which was super cozy. I think the landscaping made it all the more inviting and relaxing. Their menu is super easy to read. They offer 4 size options. We tried the Sea Turtle (OMGoodness) and the White Mocha. They also offer fresh homemade baked goodies. We tried the ginger molasses, which was almost as good as my Mom's (shoo, she can't ever know...). The staff are super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options. This place has been bookmarked. I wish I could give more than 5 STARS! It's a cute little drive-thru. Aubra makes the best ice Chai Latte I have had in Oregon thus far. She is such a kind lady and provides exceptional customer service as do the other people that work here. On Friday I ordered a tea with honey and a pie (Marion berry). The tea was good, especially since it was not too sweet. The pie was flavorful and tasted just like berries no sugar just all NATURAL. Yummy. Yesterday, I had a pineapple smoothie and big it was so good and refreshing. I've been to the Village Bean many times and I am writing this review for the recent times I've been here. Love me some Village Bean! The best coffee shop in Yachats, and one of the best coffee shops on the Oregon coast! This cute coffee shop has come a long ways since opening in early 2000s- recently remodeled, just keeps getting better and better!! It's a mom and pop shop, and they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Located just as you enter in Yachats, it's a drive thru, or there are some seats inside that you can go in and look around while you wait- take in the beautiful ocean view as you sip on some delicious coffee. This place gets packed on the weekend. It's a touristy town that doubles on the weekend, and triples in the summer. The girls here are great and friendly, and know how to make awesome coffee. They serve 'Portland Roasting' blends (now named Portland Coffee Roasters). Their menu is HUGE, with a little bit of everything for everyone. They're famous drink is the 'Sea Turtle'- White chocolate, vanilla and caramel. They always have fresh scones every morning too, and savory treats in the afternoon!
