Great coffee and excellent pastries. The almond croissant was filled with almond paste, the celestial snail was wonderful and the spinach artichoke fold over was great too. The Oregon Fog tea was yummy.Cute place as well!

Upon recommendations of other reviews, I arrived early to be sure I had the best selection of pastries. I recommend getting your items and heading down the road to the Yachats State Recreation Area to eat them with a magnificent view. I tried the chocolate croissant and had no idea croissants could be so flaky, buttery, soft, with just the right amount of crispness too. I would definitely return to try other items, especially the Celestial Snail, that looks ALMOST too pretty to eat!

This place is wonderful! The food, the service the ambience is exceptional. Pastries and coffee breads everything you could ever want just exceptional.

Out of towners passing through. Great variety of donuts, pastries and more savory items. Very flaky and moist and not overly sweet.

Hearty sourdough. Makes the best awesome toast

10 stars!! So glad on our last day, we got to stop by and grab goodies on our way out. These are not some average bakery items they are lil' handheld culinary perfection. For this dinky tourist town, it's another culinary gem that makes our stay memorable! They open at 8am for a few hours four days a week from Thursday to Sunday. Love the charming ambience, it's so inviting I wish there are tables and chairs inside for us to just hang out and enjoy our goods and relish in their goodies on beautiful display. The chief baker in the open kitchen appears to be busy making more stuff with his dough. There's something really cool about the intimate feel of this shop and being able to observe while you wait for your turn. The plethora of choices was literally dizzying. What to get, will it stay good? They run about $4.50 to $5 a pastry. These are top notch pastries they are so worth the $$ so needless to say, do not hold back. When in doubt, just get it! Got their rustic sourdough three loaves, lemon sugar cookies in a bag, almond croissant, chocolate croissant, and hot tea. Also got a t-shirt for hubby. Didn't expect at a bakery you can find goodies to gift. My sister, mom and two and four year old nieces enjoyed the rustic sourdough and lemon sugar cookies. I didn't intend to but the bread and cookies were the perfect comforting gift given we lost our beloved white English bulldog (on my Yelp pic) of 12 years a few days ago and were feeling blue. Yes how good baked goods can be like chicken soup for the soul!! Glad they were busy so I had to be in line for a bit but that's ok. For times of inflation, you want places to be busy so they will stick around! When it was my turn, the lady was super helpful. Asked if they can make a London fog with oat milk and she was so happy to do it and kind to offer vanilla to sweeten. It was the PERFECT lady grey! Tried to duplicate at Starbucks. Not even close. The one from B and R was thicker, smoother, hotter, and more flavorful. The definite highlight was the rustic sourdough made from organic flour. It makes for the most divine buttered toast. It is hearty and the best sourdough experience we have ever had. Ever! This is a heavy duty bread. We almost finished the whole loaf in one sitting it's that good!! I block out calories and carb counting at this point. On vacation mode still. The pastries were super delish even when we ate it the next morning. The almond croissant had lots of almond paste inside. Everything was packaged with care. Hubby enjoyed his chocolate croissant. Saved us from having to resort to convenient store junk food! Support Breads and Roses. It will brighten your day! Sorry for the novel, I couldn't help it!!

Adorable bakery in a quiet, coastal neighborhood. The potatoes were out of this world!! The staff was delightful. The espresso was on point. Highly recommend!

Stop here and DO NOT leave without purchasing the home made crackers. If you do you'll miss a grand surprise in life!! I know you're thinking "it's just a cracker", but trust me, you'll be glad you did.

This place is GOOD. I was left speechless. And wishing I had more room in my tummy. I'm definitely going back tomorrow and sad I didn't know about it yesterday! Expect to pay about $5 per pastry. There's a parking lot, street parking, and a little playground across the street if you have little ones that need to burn off some energy.

Overpriced and takes too long to heat up pastry. I don't recommend. There are better places to get food in town.

We irdered two iced Mexi Mocha's, one soy, both with whip, and a chocolate chip pecan scone. She started to hand me a hot mocha and startled, I said " oh we ordered iced!" I would have accepted the hot ones but it was a warm day and we were already hot. They remade the mochas but were noticeably unhappy about it. The total was $19.something and I gave them $24. The scone was pretty delicious, light and sweet. Yum. The mochas had a LOT of chile pepper in them.and my son said it burned his throat. My mouth tingled. A lot. Sadly we did not drink much of them. If spice is your jam you will like them. We expected more of a cinnamony type Mexi mocha so that was quite a surprise. The chocolate covered espresso bean was a nice touch. I had a toffee scone and an almond scone during my visits and both blew me away!

We enjoyed all flavors except hot cinnamon and watermelon. Both were way too overpowering with flavor. I also bought some of the homemade Peanut Butter Explosion fudge. It was so good! Would definitely recommend.
