Today was the first time I've been to Dream Nails. I usually frequent another salon, but since that one I really like was closed for Memorial Day, I thought I'd give Dream nails a try since they were the closest open salon. I'm usually hesitant about going anywhere else than my usual. I strictly have pedicures only just to help relax and decompress and as I can imagine many others enjoy getting their nails/feet done without small comments, etc said to them by the technician to ruin the experience. I'm super easy to please and if I don't really like a certain salon, I just don't go back and don't even bother with reviews...but I can tell you Henry really hit it out of the ball park (in a negative way) today to make me really want to share my experience. Initially coming into the salon, everyone was friendly. But once Henry started on my pedicure, he made some comments here and there and the way he talked to me made me feel like an idiot like he was talking down to me on the tiniest of things during the pedicure. I do not see the point in asking me questions on how I prefer something done... Then turn around after I gave my answer and say he's going to do it a different way because "that's better". I was thinking initially maybe he just vocalizes every single thing he does/is thinking and isn't intending to be rude, but continued to give him the benefit of the doubt...However, throughout my entire experience I just felt super uncomfortable and far from relaxed. When he started painting my toenails with the color of polish I chose, he verified with me to make sure I liked the color after it was applied. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there, and since my main reason of coming is just to relax and decompress, and not necessarily the color of my nails, I told him that the color actually looks a little darker than I had expected, but that's OK, you can keep going. Instead of just staying quiet or just saying OK and then proceeding to paint the rest of my toenails, He then held up the bottle of nail polish against my toenails to say that it looks exactly the same and that there's no difference. if that were the case, then why did he even verify with me in the first place if I even like the color? I know I'm not the only one who's expected a bottle of nail polish to look either lighter or darker than what it actually comes out to be on their nails. Some colors are misleading when you just look at them from the outside of the nail polish bottle. When we got to the point to where it was time for me to get up from the chair to go dry my nails under the fan, Henry said and motioned that I can get up and go to the lamp...then he proceeded to go to the right side of the chair to start wiping out the water basin, which is fine, so, then I lifted up the left side arm rest to exit the left side of the chair since he was in the way on the right side. He then proceeded to make a big deal about how I hadn't exited to the right side of the chair... Talking to me as if I'm an idiot for not exiting to right. I then replied and said that he had started to wipe the bin while sitting on the right side of the chair and that he was in the way for me to exit from the right. He was making the point clear and obvious that he wanted me to leave out on the right side of the chair even though he was clearly in the way on the right side...Then he was gaslighting me telling me that he was going to open up the armrest on the right side when he was just wiping down the bin. And then comes the time to pay for the pedicure and I was ready to be gone that I didn't even sit down to dry my nails under the fan. I gave him my card to pay... Then after he took my card behind the desk to the pin pad, he then brings my card back up like he's going to hand it to me, but instead my card somehow flung up into the air from Henrys hand and landed on the desk right in front of me....he didn't grab the card, so I assumed he had already ran it, so I picked it up off the desk & put it back in my wallet... Ok, so first - my nails look the best they ever have. I get Pink & White nails and the pink they use is the perfect shade. Henry, my nail tech, said they use a better kind of acrylic than most salons - and I believe him. Seriously, not going to another salon again. Picture attached. I hate to be this person... But I definitely do not recommend this place to anybody. I'm very upset with how my experience went, and then I even had to spend money on what I received. I had three separate people fill in my acrylic nails. The woman who is working on them, told me to let them dry. She then told me she would be back, and proceeded to walk out the front door, get in her car, and leave. My nails look absolutely terrible. The service was not very good. And as soon as they finished with my nails, they took the same tools and use them on somebody else. They did not disinfect in between services. I do not recommend this place, unfortunately. I really hate leaving bad reviews, especially for small businesses. Worst SNS manicure ever! I tried them as a new client on 7/5 and apparently was placed with someone who didn't know what he was doing. Within 24° I had 2 nails to chip and within one week (today) 2 nails have broken. I won't even go back to have them fixed. So mad because I totally wasted my money by going here. read more

Went on recommendation from hotel staff- travel for business & on road constantly. I rely on local referrals. The salon is mediocre. Was only one in salon & two ladies staffing finished eating prior to service. Both were polite and friendly. Neither spoke very fluent English. My pedicurist did take her time and listened to my request. I had hoped for excellent massage received so/so. Not so much a slight towards the customer; just more than likely the norm. Did a good job with quality of actually painting of the nails and polite. Just do not go & expect massage of quality & the actual polishing being 100% on point. read more

Typically have a great experience at this location and usually have the same male technician who is amazing but today they decided to charge me almost double what I usually pay for THE SAME style I always get. Not to mention I waited three hours for the technician to get my ombré nails right, which I wasn't upset about and was still going to leave a 10 dollar tip like I always do but then to be charge extra after all of that. My regular salon was closed so I popped in here to give them a try. I was immediately seated and the gentleman began soaking my existing SNS off. While I was soaking, a couple entered the salon (walk-in, no appointment) and were immediately seated for pedicures. The guy doing my nails got up and started with one of the pedicures. At first I thought nothing of it because I was soaking. Over 20 minutes later he never came back and continued on doing the full pedicure. When I questioned how long until someone came back to me he told me I had to wait for the other technician to finish with her client. I literally got up, washed my hands and left. Never again. I came here because i needed somewhere that didn't have a wait. They did not have one so i decided that this was the place. First off there prices were OUTRAGEOUS!! 44$ to take off my gel pedicure and out gel back on my toes!! that was unbelievable to me. next they were just flat out rude when we asked about why it was so much, so they did push the price down. Next they hurt, went deep down into my foot and made me almost bleed. When i decided to not get gel on my toes and just put a clear coat, they tried to tell me that i should just go ahead and do it because that is what i had previously said i wanted. I just moved to Canton and went into Dream Nails for a full set of Diamond nails. I was seated with Tony, an elderly gentleman who told me he had been in the industry for 20 years. The finished product I received was truly awful. There are bumps, ridges and valleys on every finger. Some of the tips are pointing upward, rather than laying down neatly in each nail bed. The nails are bulbous in some areas and flat in others. Each nail sits far outside of the natural nail bed, making them appear more like a wide paddle than a fingernail. I am their long time customer (9 years and counting). They are the best! I guess two indicators of how good the business is - how busy are they at any given time (extremely!) and how many returning customers they have (a lot). So I've been going back to the same nail salon for 10+ years. Dream nails in canton next to publix off riverstone. Tuesday I went and had my eyebrows done, it was $8. I gave a $2 tip. Today I check my online statement, it shows a charge of $18. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I go in and figure it's just a mistake. I was asked to come back when it wasn't so busy. Fine, it's a business, I get it. So I go back, only 1 person in there. They show me my receipt, clearly it still says $10. He proceeds to tell me on his transaction log it says $10 but when I count down to my transaction, there is an $18. They refused to refund the $8. Although it's not a huge monetary amount, it's the principle. So please share this and warn people about their bad business practice. And now I need a new nail salon read more

I used to get my mani / pedi / brows done here all the time - however now with the turnover in staff - I haven't found anyone worth going back to see again. I know (because I see it) that the sterilization has become less and less and I refuse to get some infectious disease due to their laziness!!!! I called one day because my 11 year old wanted a pedicure and was going to see if they charge full / half price - a gentleman said 10.00 for child under 13 years old. I go to pay after getting his pedicure, my hubby and I both got a mani / pedi as well and I got eyebrows waxed - (97.00 total) and I go to pay and they said they were going to charge me full price 20.00 for son and the guy that works there starting yelling telling me that I can keep my mouth shut that he was talking to my husband not me and that women should keep their mouth shut. My son and everyone else in salon heard this and I was embarrassed!!!! I will NEVER go back there and just because of this my entire family (extended family) has stopped going there as well.
