One of the worst experiences! Do not hire this company!! We hired Spider-Man and miles and they literally did nothing while they were at my son's bday party. And not to mention the costumes had holes in them. We are very disappointed and all the guest at our party were talking about how terrible they were. I will never hire this company again. We got TEMU characters it was so embarrassing. My son cried for an hour after his party. So embarrassing. See pictures. Spider-Man was busting at the seams with holes in his costume!

The face paint on my daughters right side of her cheek is the quality of face paint. Very disappointing. This is this the birthday girl.

The person doing to face paint showed up late and dressed up in a plain t shirt like he was running errands. Very low energy and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. When I escalated my disappointment, they said they wanted pictures and this was all I can produce. This is the birthday girl. He used stencils. He said he needed more pictures to validate if I got what I paid for. I would say this wasn't worth it at all. It was embarrassing.

I am very disappointed in the service I received over the weekend. Our character Elsa looked as if she was rushed to get ready, and she was not interacting with the children. I spoke with the Manager and requested this to be reviewed but after it was reviewed I was deemed as incorrect. He said he would give me 20 percent off my next character and throw in additional services but how does that make it right? This was a surprise gift for the birthday girl, but let's wait another year to make it right? He then stated he would give a 40 percent discount on my next service and when I declined, I let him know that I would be leaving a review and he said he knew that's where it was going because I didn't get what I was asking for. All I requested was a partial refund, I did not state a full refund or an unreasonable amount. I definitely will not use this company in the future. Again, I don't think my request was unreasonable. I did not want to go this route. Per the response from my review from Tony. I did not demand a refund, I requested a refund via email and was told to give him a call to have this discussed, he then offered a discount for future services again which I declined. I simply asked for a partial refund and stated if not I would leave a review regarding my service. Again no one demanded anything.

5/30 My granddaughter's 4th Birthday with Barbie. Hot Potatoe game

Tony thank you so much Barbie was amazing. She had to answer a lot of questions (Where's Ken) such a good sport. Play really good games for toddlers. Very patient with toddlers. She looks like Barbie too. Tony thank you for your patients and customer service. I asked alot of questions and you followed up every time. Thank you for even accommodating my grand daughter's daycare/school. Alk of the kids and teachers had a wonderful time with Barbie. Will tell a friend

We just booked Spider-Man for our son's 3rd bday . The Spidey was worth every dollar spent. Can't recommend this company enough. I would recommend to parents and caregivers that book to make sure you're ready or near your bday kiddo . I missed the first look because I was busy and I lost track of time. There is no day of confirmation. It's up to you to be mindful of when he's about to walk in. Luckily my kids were the ones that saw him walking up to the door from the window lol He was also quick with a response when my son asked if he was gonna swing out as he walked him out. Luckily Spidey was quick ! He said he was and needed plenty of space to swing out. It was much appreciated!! It was the most magical day and my little guy couldn't stop smiling .

I have all good things to say about dreamcharacters. Our character was there on time, he was prepared to play with the kiddos, and he even got in the jumper with them. My son was very happy to see his favorite superhero in his birthday party. The contracting process went smoothly for me. Making payment was easy through PayPal and remaining balance was with cash. They were so professional! On time great attitudes! Very nice and pretty Ariel! She showed up in a princess dress and changed and even went in the pool with our birthday girl with her mermaid tail! If I could give zero stars the review would be more accurate. They cancelled this evening for a party that was booked for tomorrow. Irresponsible and poor character. When you have a business there should always be back up and not some excuse to why the character that was booked is not able to attend. Unable to return deposit the same day they cancelled as well. Money comes and goes but what's so heartbreaking is how do you explain to a toddler that his dream character is not coming to his party anymore. I would go with someone more reliable. read more

My grandson cried when Spider-"boy" and Captain America "boy" left. I submitted quote requests to a few places for super hero actors using Yelp. I chose Dream Characters because of their quick response time and pricing is very competitive, offering great package options. I choose Spider- boy and Captain America Boy... They arrived on time and we're in character through out the party. Their interaction with the kids was phenomenal so much so that my grandson cried when they left. We were all so incredibly pleased with Dream Characters coming to the baby shower we threw for my child's pre k teachers. Mouse boy, Mouse girl, and the assistant absolutely made our party; the kids and adults loved them. They all had such great attitudes with how hot and busy it was. My 1 year old cried when it was time for them to go. The assistant was so friendly and great at coordinating the activities. Best party ever with Spyderman today. Spyderman entertained 10 kids for 2 hours with countless games, singing, dancing. The kids and adults had a blast. Look no further to book your summer party. Disappointed, Though they try to fit my daughter's party last minute, (2stars), They we're not flexible at all. They take a while to reply, couple of forms/ contract to fill with a few disclaimers, I was given a deadline to complete to avoid same day processing fee.. Feels like trying to nickel and dime.. I still booked a face painting and balloon twisting for 2 hours, but they changed the contract to face painting only due to number of kids.. I think he painted around 10 kids in 1.5 hours, I sent him home early even if he showed up a bit late. Face painting quality was really basic, as advertised i guess.. Wish I booked the other company longer instead.. read more

Really enjoyed this company's services. An independent and pricey ballon twister/face painter cancelled on me days before a party and Dreamcharacters was able to step in. The coordinator or owner of this business is very responsive and understanding. For the party, we had Teka do face painting and balloon twisting and she was so sweet and personable to all of the guests she encountered. I would recommend this business to friends/family. They may do "basic" face painting/balloon twisting but the kids at the party still loved it. I could now say I do prefer Dreamcharacters over independent contractors because Dreamcharacters are professional (providing contracts, background checks of employees, honoring time commitments, being receptive, etc.) thank you again! read more

Spider-Man was so awesome! When my son saw him coming, he left my arms and ran to Spider-Man!! He did superhero training, games with the kids and lots of photos! It was definitely the best day of his life. Now my kids ask me if I can call Other princesses and super heroes to come over (as if I have their phone numbers) & that makes me a Super Mom!!! read more

Had the Red Power Man, for copy right reasons can't be called power rangers. He was great!!! Hired him for 1hr and 30 min. The last half hour was pictures only. He was very patient with all of us. Would definitely recommned. Called about 5 other places and they were the best price and one of the few to have the original red power ranger. Tony was great. Lilly was our artist and balloonist and she is such a joy! She arrived on time and was easy to work with. My son wanted a lizard drawn on his arm and she was able to paint it off the top of her head. How can anyone trust a company when you bring thieves to work with you. You should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing such behavior from your employees. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them based on this experience. Edit : the free one hour only during the week, does not compensate for your negligence. It was my son bday party. I called you multiple times and you failed to answer. There was no deposit, because you required no deposit. Again I wish could have hired someone else .

The best company ever!!! Let's just say my daughters birthday party was a complete blast with Dreamcharacters! We hired the yellow princess and she was super nice. Dreamcharacters is very professional and I loved the communication via email and contract agreements. We also chose the basic face painting and basic ballon twisting options. Dream Characters was absolutely AMAZING! From start to finish, the experience was professional, fun, and unforgettable. The character looked incredible, stayed in character the entire time, and brought so much excitement and joy to the kids. Simply AMAZING !!! I love DreamCharacters. Thank you to Tony and his performers. Tony was super professional and assisted me last minute with a quick request for faceprinting and character. Tony came and made all the kids happy with the basic face-painting which actually was more than Basic, it was stunning. According to his reply, I asked for a refund immediately. That's incorrect, he was not coming to a resolution after several phone calls made to him after his no show. This is a failed attempt to cover himself in this negative review. The entire process was a disappointment from becoming to end. DONT BOTHER and take your business elsewhere. read more
