This is such a fun and creative shop. The owner was extremely friendly and vibrant. My daughter and I both got nacho ice cream bowls. The prices are so affordable and the portions are craaaaaazy. Gotta upgrade my five star review with another five star review now that I have been several times. Dreamer Ice Cream recently got a makeover/ upgraded equipment and now has even more options than they did before. Still wonderful service, house made waffle cones, samples, great ice cream and shakes and now so much more (check out the take out freezer for a rotating set of goodies). Love that the owners give back to the community (partnering with Oscar's enemies for one) and support other businesses in the area. Will be back plenty this summer and beyond. read more

Stopped in to satisfy my sweet tooth and was instantly greeted with a smile. The staff was so amazing, I received the kind of customer service that makes you want to come back again and again. Decided to share the ice cream nachos with a friend and they did not disappoint. The waffle chips were warm and fresh and the ice cream was delicious. Service was wonderful, the owners are super friendly and ready to offer samples and suggestions. If they are nearly out of a flavor they will offer modifications for the milkshakes. The shop itself is very clean and classic bubble gum blue, pink, and white. There are also soooo many options. They make the waffle bowls in-house and they pair well with whatever scoop you get. Sadly, we all devoured our treats before I could get photos due to the HOT weather haha! Next time we're in the area, we will be stopping in! read more

Went there yesterday, 5/3/25, and so glad we did. My wife loves black licorice ice cream. They didn't have any out, but one of the staff checked the back and found some. He made my wife's week! Well DAAAAAD GUM! This is some dang good ice-cream! I had the Maui Wowie and it was so freakin good! I tried a few flavors and they were all super tasty. It was cool how they had the flavors divided in the cases by Classic, modern/creative, and what I would call "adult favorites". We found this quiet ice cream parlor in Tacoma about a 2min drive from the Kaiser hospital. It is locally owned and the owner of the shop served us this day. He was very friendly and accommodating to our flavor preferences. He mixed a few flavors to make our peach, strawberry, banana smoothie that was so refreshing. We also got a waffle cone with a scoop of rocky road and a cake cone with rocky road. The ice cream was creamy and had large slivers of almond rather than small chips. There were several small tables for seating on the inside. They are right off of Sprague Ave. located in the shopping center behind Walgreens. Generous portions, unfortunately, you probably don't want generous portions of it. I got the butter pecan (I'm not sure which brand it was), but it was not creamy, its icey, and not very flavorful. They make their own waffle cones so we upgraded for that, unfortunately they don't taste very good. I don't know if they taste good when they're fresh, But I feel like my son nailed the flavor profile when he said that it tasted rancid. Not something I wanted to eat. Which is sad because its usually my favorite part. I needed to review this place because all these reviews are good, and we went there based on that. So it was super disappointing. I want people to have a more realistic expectation. My son got mango pineapple, it tasted like old frozen syrup. My daughter got bubble gum and cotton candy. The bubble gum was really good, but the cotton candy was sweet frozen ice. $20+ for ice ice (no cream) that was all destined for the trash can. We all regretted the decision to try something new and trust these reviews. read more

This place opened up near my house a couple months back and I've been dying to try it out. They seem to have next to zero online presence, and with few reviews anywhere I was a bit nervous to go. It's a little bit of a hole in the wall on the inside but man was the ice cream great. They have a good variety of flavors with both "fun" and "normal" flavors. I decided to go with peppermint because it's my all time favorite flavor and it's rare to come by it outside of December. Flavor was fantastic and the waffle cone was also nice and fresh. As for price point , it is well below others in the area and an excellent value for the quality of the ice cream. I highly recommend anyone who has been curious to go check it out. read more

I want to be nice so I'll round up to 3. This indie business operates out of the skeleton of an old Baskin-Robbins, and has a comparable selection. I could get past the modest environment, but the ice cream itself was a bit of a ripoff. The ice cream is kept too cold so it was full of ice flecks, like a tub of ice cream at home from your last birthday. The waffle cones are also not made thick enough so my cone crumbed in my hand. It was a race to eat it that ended in one big brain freeze and a dent in my wallet. I hope they figure out these issues because a good ice cream shop is sorely needed around all the good food on 6th Ave. read more

Tbh I'm not big on ice cream but my husband is, we stopped in and I figured maybe I'll try it. So I ended up getting a 2 scoop with a waffle cone in the cup and boy let me tell you I mopped that up in a second lol. So yes my favorite ice cream place to come to. My husbands fave as well, we've tried other places and didn't even finish the whole ice cream and ended up wasting it ugh (I hate wasting food). My husband has the 2 scoop as well he had the strawberry and pineapple something (he loved it) said it's the best strawberry he's tasted. And I had the salted caramel with cookies and cream the first time and the praline the second time and boy did I eat it up like there was no tomorrow lol! Love this place read more

My husband is a US army Infantry Veteran and I am a graduate from SPU one of my majors being social justice. We are looking to make a difference and inspire everyone around the world to follow their dreams. One of our many goals is to reach out with in the local community and give back. Family friendly, very nice people who exceed your expectations. Delicious flavors. I'm looking forward to the additions that are coming. Soon they will be a one stop shop. They will probably have to start offering dining on the roof. Always stop by on a monday to get a cool surprise. This definitely my families go-to place for a sweet treat because they have the best prices in town. They also carried about a dozen flavors of fudge in some creative flavors like caramel macchiato, cotton candy, black cherry bourbon, and dark espresso. Rounding out the assortment was about a dozen different flavors of chocolate truffles, plus a selection of other chocolates. There was one staff member manning the stand, she was friendly though our interaction was brief. The stand itself was neat, organized and clean, the printed sign hung on the back wall of the stand made me think this was a relatively new business trying to get its feet off the ground. There's seating at tables in a shared open area used by multiple stands/restaurants. Bathrooms are shared with the market facilities and parking is located directly in front of the market.

Overall, maybe if I'm really in a pinch, I'll go back but I'd rather spend the extra dollar and drive the extra 5 mins to go to gravity coffee or four petals.
